Great shoe and great service. As an American in Japan it is sometimes hard to find large size shoes. On a recent business trip to Boston, I couldn't find a store nearby my hotel so my daughter suggested that I buy online and have them shipped to her. The shoes came right on time, and I carried them home to Japan.

Bad sizing -
It seems typical that Florsheims shoes run larger than indicated. After wearing for about two hours, the shoe slipped up and down as I walked. Can only wear them as a casual shoe and not for business dress.

Good fit at a reasonable price -
I have always worn a larger shoe size than most.
My problem has been that I have rarely been able to find much variety in any of the local stores. I have noticed that while more companies were finally producing a size 15 shoe, few offered those shoes in a narrow width (B). Zappos offers a better selection than any store that I have shopped locally, and the entire on-line process is painless.

My husband had gotten such good wear out of a pair of Florsheim's that I wanted him to have another pair. These are very smart looking and he says they are extremely comfortable.

Richfield for me -
I've found Florsheim to be the only shoe that conforms well to my feet. It has been difficult to find the variety of Florsheim shoes in my local area. I've owned several pairs of Richfield and they are my favorite dress and casual shoe. I simply used the shoe size from my tired old Richfield’s and ordered the new ones from Zappos. Arrived the next day and I'm sure after I break them in they will fit like my previous pairs. A great shoe and great service from Zappos!
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I only recommend Florsheim.

I have had a pair of the Florsheim Richfield Slip-Ons in black and another in brown in my closet since about 1987. They are the only dress shoes I wear. The only time I wear any other shoe is when I wear a tuxedo and then I wear a lace-up shoe that I've had for a long time.

We'd been looking for dress shoes in 5E widths for quite a while, with no luck. By the time we found these we realized that my husband actually took a 9 ½ instead of a 10, because we were finally able to find the correct width for him. Thanks a bunch!

Good fit -
Shoe just a little narrow at tip, but overall a good fit. Bought this for use as a P/T usher at a performance art theater. Arch support is a bit lacking and not good for long periods of standing.

Returned but not for fit -
ordered these and a different black loafer pair as Father's Day present for my husband who can't find 12 B or C width shoes in our local stores...he liked the fit fine but not the style because of the long vamp---I thought they looked fine--but he was wearing them...so will return today--Zappos makes that as easy as ordering and when he hates to shop for himself, I usually do both the shopping and returning anyway...
No harm, no foul...

This is a quality shoe, but it is very narrow. I had ordered a "wide" and it is not a normal wide cut.

I've been wearing this shoe since I hurt my back in 1989; always looks great, wears long, I buy em 2 at a time and they always last a couple of years. Last two pair lasted over three years; got them on sale. Shoes that always feel comfortable from the day you buy them.

I originally ordered the shoe in 9D, but it was extremely tight. So I ordered it in 9E and it fits better, but it’s not as comfortable as I would like it to be. It's a good looking shoe, but the size as marked does not seem to be accurate.

Love at first sight -
I loved them from the moment I opened the box: very stylish shoes, ideal for my line of work. About the fellow buyer complaining on the width, be advised: when worn regularly, these shoes will "catch" the form of your feet, fitting them like a glove. So don't be fooled by the little tightness at first, just keep wearing them and let your feet get them loose. About Zappos: as usual, excellent follow up, fast delivery.

My husband bought a pair of Florsheim shoes 21 years ago (to be married in) and has not been able to find another pair he liked since. He had the old pair "refurbished" more than once. I compared his old shoe to pictures on Zappos to match with the Richfield. Ron is very pleased with the shoe, and they sure look better.

Be Careful on the fit.
Working with ZAPPOS was a pleasure as I was able to return the 1st pair of shoes as they were too tight. Unfortunately, the 2nd pair was a little loose at the heel so I purchased the heel patches to tighten the shoe up. They are still loose and I'm going to get more of these liners to tighten up the shoe. Since I have done this, I felt it unfair to ask for another exchange plus not sure what size would fit.
The moral of the story is be sure you get a good fit or return the shoes until you do as these folks will accommodate you fully & help to find any discounts in the market place.

Hard to find, but perfection -
This was our first order and we were a little hesitant. We never bought shoes that size before, but our future son-in-law wears them. They came in expeditiously and seemed to be of the good quality that we have come to expect from Florsheim’s over the years. When he tried them on Christmas morning, they fit perfectly and he loves them. Thank you Zappos for making them available to us. We are more than pleased!
