These boots are exactly as described! They are very high quality made leather boots. The size is very true and are super cool looking.I would advertise them as today's Beatle Boots! Zappos processed and shipped my order very promptly. The packing was great, too. I'll be buying more from Zappos!

Geat looking boot/shoe with suits to jeans. Purchased the black in wide and will order at least another color; very easy to break in and are so very comfortable.

I was extremely satisfied with the appearance, fit and comfort of this excellent boot. The size was estimated using the inch to size chart, which proved to be very accurate in my case. I received my order two days earlier than expected. I was impressed with the product and service. I would not hesitate to use Zappos again and will certainly recommend them.

Insane! These boots fit perfectly, look as rock-n-roll as anything, and Zappos delivered them the day after I ordered them, upgrading me for free to next-day delivery. There's no other place on Earth better to buy shoes than Zappos, I'm a customer for life!

Typical middle aged male... buy shoes once every five years (whether I need them or not!) and hated the process. I visited 4 shoe stores, and could find nothing even resembling these. Finally looked on-line and found Zappos. Ordered and delivered the next day. Perfect! I ordered a pair in black 2 weeks later; same service! I like this company!

Most of the time I don’t like buying shoes online because I like to try them on first, but I’ve bought Florsheim boots before and took the chance on the Duke being a similar fit to others they make. I bought my standard shoe size (9.5 D) and while they were a bit snug at first, they fit fine after wearing them a couple of times. If fact, I’d say they are now my most comfortable pair of shoes. Given the price on this site, I think I got a great deal on a good pair of boots.

Florsheim Duke is well worth the cost -
I ordered a 9.5 and the widest size available. I normally wear an 8.5D shoe. The boots fit perfectly.

Great fit and comfort right from the first -
My husband has short wide feet, with a high instep... he is really hard to fit. These boots are awesome! I ordered the extra wide and they were perfect. The look of them is wonderful. I highly recommend them.

Beatles Dress Boots:
I came of age in the 1960's.The Florsheim's Duke dress boots reminds me of the same high heeled stage apparel boots The Beatles wore. Aside from the nostalgia aspect, these are great boots! Form and functionality. I wear them with jeans or in a designer suit. Very comfortable in my size right out of the box. I'd buy another pair.

A great boot!!!!
I got the same boot in cognac a little while back and just had to have them in black. I only wish they came in a lighter brown (tan). They fit like a glove and go very well with jeans or a sport jacket. I have been buying all my shoes from Zappos since finding your site a few years back and find your service and speed in shipping to be unrivaled. Thank you for all you do.

Stepping out with "the Duke"
This is my second pair of dukes, and probably my tenth pair of Florsheims. As with the first pair, I heeded the advice in the reviewers, and ordered an 11 (instead of my usual 10.5) with an "aaa" width...the fit is terrific...I am having trouble finding "cognac " shoe polish....however, the fit and feeling, are worth this small problem..." if you want to feel like a king, wear a pair of duke's." To date this is the best boot for the money I have ever owned -
I love these shoes, I wear suits every day and this shoe look, feel, and wear just fine with suites, slacks, and even Jeans. I have every color and it make it so easy to match up each day. And the Zappos service? WOW, truly great!!! It feels like wearing a tennis shoe a half size larger.

I was looking for shoes that wouldn't aggravate my PFS in my knees but would also help strengthen the muscles. I gave Earth shoes a try. First I bought 'Tranquill,' the sandal, and noticed the difference immediately. I could walk for hours and climb up and down subway steps with *no problem!* Before, my knees would have been swelling and aching. The next obvious step was an Earth athletic shoe, so I chose Rocket in the dark gray/orange. I was able to break them in by walking the Forbidden City and Summer Palace in Beijing, and then the final test was the Great Wall. No pain (other than the expected aches)! Earth makes wonderful shoes, and I hardly want to put anything else on my feet nowadays. Cons: They do rub a little at the Achilles tendon even though I bought a half-size larger than my usual 6. It's nothing too problematic, though, but it would have been with a 6.

This Florsheim boot is a classic that has been with Florsheim for many years. I have been wearing them for many years and have replaced them twice with the same boots over these many years. As great as they wear, there comes a time when you want new again. So I replace them. The fit is true to size, they are comfortable, and I recommend highly.

Great boot -
My husband was wary of putting on a boot with a heel this high but he said the fit is excellent for his wide foot and the height feels great for him...it's his new favorite.

Florsheim Duke Boot Review -
1. The Florsheim duke boots are great. Exactly what I wanted. I had worn Florsheim Half Wellingtons before and had missed some of the qualities that only boots can deliver. I am "back home" again.
2. The amazingly expeditious handling of the order is most appreciated... 2 or 3 days and I had my boots... I had expected a couple of weeks.

Nice boots; little bit too much of a heel to them. Make SURE to order one size larger. If you normally wear a 10 than order a 10 and a half. Safe thing with width. If you wear medium D width order an EE. Thin leather soles; if you wear them a lot you'll probably get a hole. Haven't had a chance to see how the zippers hold up. Overall, I'm satisfied. Felt true to size with above caveats.

Why a 4?
I was wearing a pair of the duke boots while I was ordering another pair. And another pair in the closet. But why give 4? If you take it into context with a boot which I believe was one of my best you will understand, this boot A{moreschi)was like part of your body when you wore it. But if not for this I would give it a 10. I have a pair of sountoni which were made in Italy and compared to the Duke (less expensive) Don't know how to spell last shoe.
Great service, consideration, and a great boot. I will be back to your store.

He's retiring on the 30th after 32 years with UPS (never took a sick day, never missed work, and never had an accident or injury.
