I bought these shoes purely because of comfort. I get teased by fellow co-workers and friends that they are my old man shoes. Even though I get teased, the shoes are worth it anyway. The are like wearing slippers, but better because they allow for lateral movement, too. For the record, I am a young man, and there is a reason why old people are smarter, because they know a comfortable pair of shoes!

this is my first try at ordering shoes from Zappos and I was skeptical because of bad deals from other mail order places, but, I wanted some shoes with velcro straps and Zappos had them, I wear a 12 1/2 but they had no half size that big, so I ordered a 13, they came and way to big, sent them back and ordered a pair of 12\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s, had to wait a few days for that size to become available, but they came via UPS and they fit very well, the shoes are Hush Puppies and I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m very pleased with how comfortable they are, also very pleased with Zappos return policy ,it is FREE. I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m an old Korean war vet. and I like being comfortable and being treated right, I got both from Zappos and my shoes, Sincerely Don C

We ordered these Hush Puppies because my husband had a stroke and we were looking for a lightweight, not clumsy shoe. He said he wanted Hush Puppies and these turned out to be perfect. He has had lots of compliments on them.

These shoes are a gift from God. They fit well, are comfortable, and very light. They have cut down the edema in my feet better than any medicine has. I ordered the extra wide. The doctors tell me I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and so I am in a power wheelchair and have always struggled to find shoes that fit and were comfortable. These are definitely worth the money.

Zappos is the best. Where can you order a pair of shoes at Midnight and receive them the next day before 6 p.m.? These Hush Puppy Gil's are the best shoes with a soft leather and true to size and true to width (3E is 4 1/4 - 4 1/2 inches in width). This shoe opens so your foot gets in easily, and the strap is wonderful for a person with hand problems or someone that needs a soft comfortable shoe for any reason. Another great feature is the sole with very good traction to prevent slips. I would highly recommend this shoe for any man who wants a well made and comfortable shoe.

Excellent shoe, even for elderly -
Bought these for my dad who is 96 and having great difficulty dressing. He is able to fasten these shoes, and able to say they are very comfortable, even for his tender feet. His only complaint is that they are too nice to wear every day. I have to keep reminding him that they are not something he has to keep for special days!

A light comfy shoe -
I bought these shoes for my father based on all the positive feedback this shoe had in your reviews. My father is in a lot of pain lately due to back problems and just loves the fact that these shoes are light, the velcro fastener gives it a custom fit, he doesn't have to bend to tie them, and they look great! The last few times I've seen my father at various functions, he was wearing these shoes and proud of them!

These shoes not only look good, but are light weight with easy, adjustable fasteners. I bought these for my husband who has trouble lifting one foot, due to a stroke. The heavy weight of ordinary shoes are a problem for him.
These shoes not only solve his problem, but look good doing it.

Very Comfortable, and very good looking -
I felt surprised as to how good looking this shoe was and I got several favorable comments from my friends when I wear them. I'm in a wheelchair so I don't know much about walking in them, but I wanted a good looking velcro type shoe, and this is it.

I bought 2 pairs of these shoes and I have to say I was shocked after I washed them in cold; didn't dry them. When I put them on my girls they BOTH complained at how tight they were after the wash. I made them wear them to stretch them out while they complained the entire time. After doing that I kind of thought to myself that was crazy my kids have to do that every time I wash them; these shoes aren't cheap! – Let’s just say I NEVER had a problem with my Naturino tennis shoe material shrinking so I am not sure if I will buy Lelli Kelly again.

The most comfortable shoe I have ever purchased. Looks good and is easy to put on. I have arthritic legs and not everyday is easy to get shoes on. These are one strap, good looking AND comfortable.

I ordered Hush Puppies Gil from Zappos for my husband because I was tired of looking at shoe stores only to find they didn't carry the style or width he needs and I have ordered shoes from Zappos before and was very pleased with the service and the product.
I was again very pleased to receive my order so quickly. The shoe was perfect! Just what we were looking for. It is comfortable, light weight, easy to get on and off and looks great with Dockers, blue jeans or casual slacks. We chose the Tan and I'm thinking I may also order it in Black.

Husband's shoes -
My husband has a wide foot and is difficult to fit in shoes. My mother told me to look at Zappos.com. I found the exact shoe that I was looking for. They fit him perfectly, they were so comfortable. They look nice and can be worn for dress or work.

Quality is excellent.
This is now the only shoe I wear when outside.
After 10 months of wear (even in the snow) the shoe has retained its shape and luster.
Easy to slip into with a 2ft shoe horn for handicapped persons.

Perfect for my elderly father -
My dad has Alzheimer's disease and it got to the point where he couldn't remember how to tie his shoes. These Hush Puppies were the perfect solution. He says they are very comfortable, but more importantly, he no longer experiences the frustration and humiliation of being unable to put on his shoes by himself. This small victory, however fleeting, is a godsend. Thanks Hush Puppies and thanks Zappos.

These were purchased for our son who is paralyzed on his right due to a stroke. These work great for him to get into due to the large opening. They look great with his nice dress clothes and he says they are very comfortable.
