Uncomfortable design -
These shoes are very well made and will surely last forever. The base of the shoe is comfortable and provides support. However, the top part of the thong digs into the top of my feet. The thong also wore into the area between my toes. Since the shoe is raised, it forces the foot to fall forward and lean against the thong. I tried walking around the office with it a few times but it always felt very awkward. Sadly I will have to return it. I love Donald Pliner shoes and will keep searching for one with the right fit.

The most uncomfortable Pliner shoe -
I have several pairs of Donald Pliner's shoes, and I love them! I get lots of compliments about them, they truly stand out and sraw attention no matter if you're dressed up, or simply wear them with good ole blue jeans. However, these are so incredibly uncomfortable! They are way too slippery, especially for a thong. Also, they are definitely marked as wrong width - they are not narrow, but very wide. Too bad they do not work at all, they look gorgeous!

I have/had many Donald Pliner shoes and these are my least favorite... not comfy at all.

Better in person than the photo!
LOVE this sandal. It is the perfect heel height for a little "lift" without being uncomfortable. It looks so much better in real life than the photo--I bought the pewter color--and it is flattering, versatile and very cool. The workmanship on this guy is superb! I'm an 8-8.5 and the 8 fit well.

Slippery base -
Not my most comfortable pair of Pliner’s. The footbed feels a little slippery to me. The look is great and goes with everything.

Very fashionable flip flop!
Love this shoe! It is great for everyday wear...slip on with a chic dress or casual shorts! Very nice and easy to wear!

Nice shoe!
Very soft leather thong with great all-day sole. I had to wear it twice before the thong did not hurt the top of my foot on the bone but after that it was great. Wore them all day and the balls of my feet felt great. The thong between the toes did not rub at all either.

Needs a little breaking in.
Nice looking shoe. The thong was a little stiff when I wore them for the first few times, making the shoe a little uncomfortable. However, after a few wearings they are fine.

Pliner Cisar Great Look, OK Comfort -
The Donald Pliner Cisar shoe is a wider fit than I expected. I have over 10 of Pliner's shoes. All of them fit very well; however, the Cisar fell below my standards. The shoe is beautiful. I wish it fit my foot better.
