Show stopper!
This shoe is classy and alluring. It has a sex appeal that is not overt.
It certainly the best pair of heels that I've found in a looong time!
Perfect for any gal who may be characterized by aestheticism, great refinement and/or subtlety of style~

Almost sinful -
This shoe combines prim and sexy -- the platform and stiletto heel and pointed toe make it look provocative, but it stops just short of being too much. The openings below and on each side of the laces are very interesting -- with black stockings, its a really handsome bootie-style shoe with a tailored look, with white stockings, it has a very "tuxedo" air and looks very dressy, and with red stockings, it looks positively wicked. This one let's you play. And it is very comfortable -- the heel looks higher than it is because of the platform and it is easy to walk in. The laces are elastic, which are very comfortable, and give just enough support to the instep that you don't slide into the toe.

After much deliberation, I bought the "Cambridge" after being unable to find the Weitzman "Mendoza" black patent platform ANYWHERE. I just wore this shoe to work for the first time today and, other than a bit of pinching from the sharply-pointed toe (to be expected--should get better as they break in), and a bit of discomfort where the laces tie (see other reviews), the shoe is sturdy, well-built and, most importantly, GORGEOUS! The oiled calf is a nice sub for patent leather (probably easier to maintain/repair), and the "peekaboo" top and sides make for a uniquely sexy yet sleek, professional look, especially when paired with a patterned sheer trouser sock (I recommend a diamond or swiss-dot pattern). . .I got compliments coming and going! Not at all a "call girl" shoe, as was mentioned in one review (unless perhaps paired with a miniskirt or hotpants?). I gave "Comfort" an average rating, but I'm learning that you simply can't buy a 4" heel--even a platform--and expect it to feel like a sneaker. We all know we must sometimes suffer for fashion, and here's one woman who's willing to pay the price! :) Now, it looks like I've found another source for that Weitzman "Mendoza" platform I mentioned, so it looks like I'll have TWO options for looking sharp and sexy in the workplace. . .

Stuart Weitzman Cambridge platform version -
After so much deliberation, I've decided to return the Cambridge platform version in black patent. I am so bummed, oh well! I love shoes, can't you tell? The determining factor is looks versus comfort. I feel for the price I pay for the shoes, I deserve more comfort than just looks. I have the same discomfort as the previous reviewer. The part where the shoe is tied feels very tight to a point where my foot sometimes feels numb. However, it's not a shoe lace problem; you really can't tie the shoe lace very tight anyway because the shoe lace stretches. I believe the flaw of the shoe is the 'CONSTRUCTION OF THE SHOE WHERE THE SHOES ARE TIED'. I need a little bit of moving room where the shoe is tied. I would have kept the shoes otherwise. I ordered the size 4 because Zappos ran out of size 4.5. The correct size for me in this particular shoe would have been a size 4.5. The size 4 is a tad bit tight length-wise; but I would have lived with it if the part where the shoe lace is tied has a little bit of an allowance. I normally am a size 5; this particular shoe runs a half a size larger for me. Other than the shoe tying flaw, the shoes are actually gorgeous, and the higher heel does not bother me. I have the Cambridge in the non-platform version in the Chocolate pearl color; it is a slightly shorter heel. I feel that the non-platform Cambridge oxford is a more comfortable shoe compared to the platform version.

GREAT SHOE IF YOU LOVE HIGH HEELS!
This is a great shoe: great for work and going out. As long as you are used to wearing high heels (3 1/2 - 4 inches), you will be satisfied. I wore these for five plus hours one day and the only discomfort I had was where the shoe was tied (may have tied it too tight). Otherwise, a great investment.

Cambridge -
How do people walk in these things? The heel is ridiculously high, even with the platform at the front. This actually looked more like a call girl shoe to me, than a sexy oxford. It's uncomfortable and going back.

Fall fun!
This shoe makes a boring outfit feel classy! It's professional with an edge of sexiness. Heels are high, but the shoe is comfortable and sturdy.
