Extra comfortable and soft, I wear them in the office all day, every day! Casual looking, not very "dressy" so depending on office rules you should consider that. I wear them with chinos. Although they are black, they look kind of brownish, so if you wear black trousers it's a problem. In general I love them!

Real well made shoes. I bought them for my boyfriend and he has a wide foot. They fit him perfectly and look really sharp dressed up or down.

I have been using this design of shoe for the past 4 years. I am an eye doctor and therefore usually dress in a "business casual." This shoe gives me comfort, support and style.

Great looking shoe. Good support and comfort. The sole could be thicker. Casual shoes today are made more like slippers...too flat. But this Cole Haan shoes is great. Nice shoe for casual pants and flattering jeans.

I had a black pair of these that I bought at Nordstrom and really liked. They were (are) super comfortable and the leather flexible & soft almost like glove leather. Liking them so much I wanted a brown pair. Having since discovered online apparel purchasing, I ordered a brown pair through Zappos. The brown pair weren't as soft as my black pair. Plus, they were a little wider looking at the toe. That said, I still like them and have kept them. Time will tell if the leather gets softer with wear. I might try saddle soaping them. I paid a lot less for them from Zappos, although it's been a year or so between the two purchases.

For the wide-width version of this shoe, it's a little narrow. The heel pinches a little at first, but after pushing the heel leather back and forth, it loosens up. The interior soles are a little hard.

My husband really likes these shoes. They are true to size and comfortable. He uses custom inserts and they slipped right in without a problem. He has them in brown; they look great with jeans.

This is a great looking and very comfortable shoe. My husband just wore it for 9 straight days of walking, biking and sightseeing around Europe and he looked great and his feet were not sore at the end of the day. This shoe is perfect with jeans and all types of casual pants.

Look, style and quality are excellent. This shoe requires some breaking in and I have not worn them enough to comment on overall comfort but anticipate they will be very comfortable.

This shoe makes sense for dress slacks and a sweater day... it can also work with jeans. Good for not so dry weather days when you still need a more professional look. I ordered the wide width as some CHs I've purchased seemed tight. This shoe felt "roomy" and I was concerned at first. However, it has turned out to be a comfortable fit.

Best casual on the market -
I was looking for a comfortable, durable, everyday type shoe I could slip on fast and go. This one met all the criteria and goes well with any style - jeans, dockers, dress pants. It took a few days to break in perfectly, but now they are wonderful. My nephew showed up from Santa Barbara last week, saw the shoes and just nodded; he had them on as well.

Break them in!
I have owned a pair of these for about a year now. In the beginning I had the same problem with the back/top rubbing my heel raw. As with any new shoe I just wore them in a little and they are now the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. Just ordered another pair! Very versatile and stylish!

I have owned many pairs of Cole Haan's and these may be the worst shoes I have ever own. Sorry but it’s the truth. My wife noticed I was walking funny because my heels were hurting. They will not break in.

I love these shoes!
The photograph cannot do these shoes justice. They look and feel great. Sometimes when you spend a little extra it is worth it and this is one of those times.

Uncomfortable -
I really liked how these shoes looked; however, they rubbed my heel after an hour or two. I ended up returning for the Ecco Soft Moc, which are very comfortable. Please note that the Ecco Soft Moc’s are very shinny in the online pictures, as such, they look better in person.

OUCH!
These shoes are fairly stylish, built well, and last well. There is, however, a huge design flaw (at least on the pair I purchased). The heel is so rigid that it TORE apart the skin on my Achilles tendon. Not only did they rub my skin raw, they left me with ultra sore tendons after wearing them. In truth, they got somewhat better over time, but still I'd stay clear. The Cole Haan Nike Air loafers are far and away more comfortable.

These shoes are my husband's favorite. Every time he wears them he comments on how comfortable they are. I like them because they get him out of his running shoes for a change. If you're looking for a comfortable shoe that's a casual wear staple, this is it.

 |  | Can I just say, I have always hated shopping for shoes until I stumbled upon Zappos. Zappos has changed the way I shoe shop. Since discovering Zappos, it is the only place I shoe shop. No more dragging from store to store to find the right shoes and the right size. I love Zappos! I have ordered dress shoes, boots and casual shoes from Zappos. On occasions I have had to return shoes because they just were not what I wanted; either they did not feel right or they were not the look I wanted. The return policy is so easy and Zappos does not make you feel guilty for returns! P.S. My husband even shops from Zappos now. He cannot believe how great the customer service is. We love you Zappos!
