Beautiful Shoes!
First, let me start by saying Zappos is by far the BEST company I have ever dealt with. Their Customer Service (returns policy) is incredible. I ordered these shoes around 3PM and the next day by 2PM I was being handed a box from Zappos. I don't know how they do it. I tried them on and didn't like how they fit so I called and asked for an exchange. Again, I was blown away. The new pair arrived before I even had the chance to send them back the 1st pair. Amazing! Simply amazing. I don't think I'll buy shoes anywhere else after this experience. You can't go wrong with Zappos. Oh yeah, the shoes. They are beautiful, comfortable and casually elegant. Things you can always expect from Cole Haan.

Best shoe I have ever owned -
I have 4 pairs and just rotate them. They are tremendously comfortable and stylish as well. I do a lot of walking at car dealerships, and the soles and Nike air system have saved my knees. I highly recommend this shoe if you are on your feet a lot...I've had many compliments on the shoe in both colors.

True to size -
I have wide feet. Some "wides" just feel like they're a size bigger, length included. This fit. A little stiff out of the box, but they're softening and molding nicely.

I bought these shoes for work. They are not comfortable at all. I am very disappointed because I like Cole Haan.

I bought these shoes a couple of days ago after reading the reviews and have to agree that it does take a couple of days to break them in. They are very stylish and I have gotten a few compliments on them already. I bought the matte black ones and the finish is perfect. It is not a flat finish, but more like semi-gloss. They look great with jeans of chinos and would be compatible with almost any kind of clothes from casual to dress. The quality is very impressive.

Great dress shoe for work -
I had a pair of very similar Cole Haan shoes that is now discontinued, and fell in love with the Nike Air technology. When they finally wore out after three years of daily wear, I bought the Santa Barbara as a replacement. The shoes take about a week to break-in because the leather is stiff, but once they've softened up; they're super comfortable and have great cushioning.

Very comfortable, stylish, good value. I live in Hawaii and it's hard to find shoes that come in wide widths. Cole Haan always provides extra widths for their shoes and Zappos has a good selection.

Comfy shoe, bounce in my step, size 13, tall guy with slender feet, so actually these M size shoes really would fit a dude with wide feet, they slip off the sides and are REALLY wide for the categorization as Medium... they should have made a pair that is narrow.

Nice comfy shoes those are appropriate w/ either jeans, slacks or suits. Good arch support for walking. Take a few days to break it in but versatile compared to others.

Great shoe but sole wears out fast.
I love these shoes, but the sole keeps splitting at the ball of my feet for each foot. I've had them resoled by Cole Haan, but sole split again. Other than that, the shoe is perfect for looks and comfort. I just wished the sole would hold up.

The shoe is a great success in my book. It is comfortable right after the break in phase. Before the break in period I was a little skeptical. The only thing that will deter me from buying another pair is longevity. I am constantly on my feet and if they don't last at least 8 months I will be searching for another pair. However, the beginning ratings are an A!

My feet love these shoes! They are so comfortable. I'm ready to buy another pair. The air-heel makes a significant difference compared to solid heel loafers. The most amazing thing about this purchase was that I ordered these shoes online and they were delivered to my home before I left for work the next morning (less than 24 hours), and the delivery was free. That was INCREDIBLE!

Really good shoe. 2-day break-in period...
I got the black glossy version of this shoe - really cool look. I spend a 6-8 hours on my feet at a time wearing this shoe. Had a little discomfort in the ankle area for the first couple days, but turned comfortable after that... been very comfortable ever since. Happy with the shoe - will probably buy this shoe again.

It's the sole!!
The soles on these shoes are like no other...they are more comfortable than running shoes.
