I have severe foot problems, I live in New York, and I am a chef. I am in quite a pickle. These sneakers have saved me. They are so soft and supportive it is unbelievable. If you are like me or one of the many other people I have talked to, you already know Saucony is an amazing shoe. This one really takes the cake. And no, I don't work for Saucony.

These are great shoes. The old style Saucony running shoes (of which these are) just feel and look better to me than the over-styled stuff manufacturers are making today. Keep it simple and stay with the classics.

Almost there, but not quite -
I purchased these hoping to get the same quality as the discontinued Jazz Series. They looked leather on-line, but they are fake leather or some cheaper material. The comfort is a great, the retro look is ok. I noticed after 2 weeks the top of the toe netting is starting to wear out. The front toe guard is a fuzzy material that easily collects dirt. Until Saucony upgrades their quality, I think this is the 5th and last pair I buy.

No better athletic shoe -
Best shoe on the market in my opinion. Feels good, looks good, a shoe that will compete well with brands that cost substantially more.

These are great for knocking around the neighborhood, but if you are looking for support these are not the shoes for you.

"Like Butter"
Bought these for my husband who has the wide feet. Bought the Double E width and he says they slipped on just like butter. He loves them! Says they are the best fitting running shoe.

Saucony 6000 - Great shoe! Been wearing them for years.
Everybody is different, so this may not apply to you.
But for me, the Saucony 6000 is a great running shoe. I'm fairly heavy (over 200 lbs.), in my 60s and have been a recreational runner (2 - 3 miles per day) for decades. So my feet, ankles, knees and legs in general get quite a lot of pounding. Also, my feet are wide in the toe area and shoes are often hard to find that fit well.
All I can say is that the Saucony 6000s are fabulous. Good support, cushioning, etc. and they fit so well that as I buy a new pair for running, the old pair becomes my standard wear-all-the-time shoes. Very comfortable and a great value.

Finally a shoe as comfortable as Nike Air, and it's wide!
I have always loved Nike Air shoes because of their comfort, like walking on air literally! But these Saucony Shadow 6000s are a match to Nike Air Max as they are soo comfortable, and they come in wide sizes which Nike does NOT!!! The Nike air will make my toes go numb after 6-8 hours wearing them because of their narrow width. The Saucony shoes are the best of both worlds for a man like me, as I am a heavy man.

Only kicks I take seriously -
I'm a woman and I wear the men's version of this shoe to accommodate my orthotics. I admit to being a slave to fashion in some areas. Especially since kicks have become as fashionable a high heels and sandals. However, the ONLY athletic shoe I take seriously is this one. I've been wearing them for almost a decade. The others are cute but these are true soldiers...if you've ever had foot problems this may just be the shoe for you.

Review of Saucony shadow 6000 Wide -
Great comfort for running (or walking). Sole has just enough firmness for trail running and yet it is soft enough for road running. Very happy I got these. Only minor thing is that I should have gotten a Medium rather than a Wide pair. Normally I need a wide, but these are slightly wider than your "average" wide pair. But hey, I just ordered another pair, now a Medium!

Saucony Shadow 6000 wide -
Very good and comfortable shoe for walking/running. I prefer the older Saucony models since they truly accommodate wide feet and are very comfortable. They may look a little dated, but its comfort and support that's more important.

A very good shoe -
I have always liked Saucony basic shoes, although they were a bit soft for me. The Shadow 6000, however, is perfect, with a more firm sole. I am a big guy, and this suits me fine. It’s a great shoe for walking exercise. I am going to order another pair.

If you are a hard heel striking runner, this shoe will take the edge off. Very comfortable, made to go long distances.

Great for walking and improper foot alignment -
I have had several operations to correct my foot after motor cycle acc. These shoes fit well and thin wall sides do not irritate foot. Heel area is very comfortable and provides adequate stability.

I have always worn the Vans deck slip on, being a boatsman/fisherman; I don't think that I will ever go back this shadow is it.

Very comfortable shoe. Comfort is most important to me. I wore these shoes while on vacation in fl with my two 5-yr old children. The shoes greatly helped me keep up with the kids and also saved my legs while walking miles on concrete. Highly recommend.

Great shoe!
I bought them as walking shoes and they feel like a cloud, love the breathable material--I truly recommend for those who walk a lot. Great running and walking shoe, also great for wearing as a regular sneaker with jeans they look great!!

Great shoe. I have been running in the Shadow 6000 since it came out and have tried numerous others, more expensive, and cannot seem to get the fit and cushioning that the Shadow 6000 provides. Unfortunately, it is not available in Canada anymore, so must have a friend ship them to me.

The only thing that I dislike about this shoe is the light color. I run outdoors, as do many other people, and I find the white shoe is becoming dirty very quickly.
I suppose you just have to keep in mind that if you use this shoe for outdoor running, you will have to buy another pair of sneakers, too. That is, of course, unless you like walking around in stained shoes.

The Shadow 6000 is the best fitting tennis shoe I have ever bought. I wear an 11.5 wide and have never experienced the kind of fit and comfort I get with this shoe. And on top of that, the service from Zappos was unbelievable. Not only was shipping free, they went the extra mile and shipped them overnight. No hassle. Excellent Service. Excellent Product. I'll be back!

AWESOME!
These shoes are AWESOME. Then again they are Saucony's. Offered in wide too, so very comfortable. A MUST BUY for looks or comfort.

I have been running in this shoe for the past six years and as long as they keep making it I will run exclusively in this shoe.
It's a simple straight forward running shoe and that's what my foot seems to like. Occasionally I have tried one of the new shoes with all the bells and glitter, but always end up back with the 6000's

This has been my only shoe for nearly 20 years of running. I've been injury-free for all these years, except for the brief time I let a friend convice me that another brand of shoe was better that winning the Lotto. After using those shoes, knee problems started, begining with shin splints, then hip soreness. The Saucony shoe lets me run like I'm built to run without any special support systems, angulation, or claims for miraculous results due to the shoe. I say, keep it simple and keep it affordable with a shoe that doesn't CREATE problems!!

 |  | My order was placed on a Thursday at about 4pm and the shoes were on my porch the same time the VERY next day. Right after I ordered them you sent an email stating that the order was being shipped out right away with NO EXTRA CHARGE TO ME. This excellent customer service must cease at once. I am just not used to it. The shoes were ordered for me to wear to my daughter's wedding and I was hoping that I didn't wait too long to find dressy shoes for my wide feet. The shoes are lovely and perfect.I have ordered from Zappos in the past and as I recall was equally pleased, and have spread the word about Zappos’ quality and customer service (esp. to my wide footed friends).
