Cute, definitely not functional!!!
I have tried 3 sizes to alleviate the pain on the top of foot when pulling on the boots, but to no avail. Also, it has no arch support and the sole is very hard on the feet. I placed a sheepskin liner in the boot and that made a big difference for comfort but still scrapes the top of my foot when putting on or off.
It is a pity that the designer compromised on the quality and comfort of the boots because they are gorgeous and work well with skirts, and tucked into jeans or casual slacks.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Alas, I am still on the hunt for a practical pair of snow boots.

Great warm shoes!
Love these shoes, so warm and stylish. I have gotten so many compliments on these. And you can walk through snow and puddles etc!
They look great over jeans or with skirts, most of my jeans do not fit over the shoe, just a warning, but they are too cute to hide anyway!

I saw Zappos on my local news, and I was really impressed to see how well the owner took such great care of his employees, and how happy everyone seemed to be during the interview...this was a company I just had to check out. I am a diabetic who has had so much foot and leg pain due to my walking 14-16 miles per day on concrete as I run a sales counter by myself...I just love the shoe I chose. I wish I would have known about this fantastic site earlier. But I have this saved in my favorites, as I will certainly be buying from them again and again...I have mentioned this site to many of my customers and family members...thank you Zappos...a company to be proud of...
