I love this boot -
I own this boot and I must say they're the most comfortable boot that I've gotten off of Zappos! The very first day I received compliments on them. My boyfriend and his friends complimented me on the boot and said they were HOT!!! I must agree. I haven't experienced the calf problem that everyone else has been complaining about, they fit just fine. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

I agree with all the other reviews - very tight around the calf and ankle! Just couldn't make them fit. It's a shame b/c they were the perfect style!

I should have paid more attention to the reviews! This boot is so cute; however, the shaft is definitely made for someone with extremely small shins! Perfect for someone who usually has trouble with boots being too big!

Size mismatch?
Could not get the zipper above my ankle. I am a petite woman. Don't have skinny calves, but can usually fit into my size. These were impossible to get on. Not sure who the company is designing for.

These boots are great! I listened to the other reviewers and ordered them half size larger. It was great tip, thank you ladies!!! They fit perfectly all around. I have smaller calves, though, and it is usually hard to find boots that are not too wide for me. But these are perfect!

Measure your calves!
Regarding the calf fit debate: the description gives the circumference of the boot at it's widest - 14 inches. I measured my calves around the widest point and they were 13 1/4 and consequently, the calves fit fine with just enough wiggle room for socks and what not, but not too much. The boots seem otherwise true to fit. Measure your calves, ladies! The boots are very cute, but I agree with one reviewer that the leather seems cheap. For the heel, they aren't too uncomfortable, but I can't quite decide if I want to go with these or something flatter and more practical. Overall a nice pair of boots.

Perfect, but not -
These boots are gorgeous, however, I have medium sized calves and the part right above the ankle is waaay too small... couldn't zip the boot up. The upper calf part fit fine though. For super-skinny legged people only! I'm sad b/c they're really comfortable and look really hot.

Only for small calves -
Just a nice looking boot, but I could not get it to zip up over my calves! And I don't have "larger than average" calves. I thought I had pretty small calves and have never had this problem before with other boots. In fact, they're usually pretty loose around my leg. Such a shame, I'm sad to send them back.

Awesome boot -
This boot fits great! Order a half size up, though. I’m still sitting on the fence on whether or not I want to keep them, but they fit so well. My only problem is the wedge heel. I’m a little scared it’s going to go out of style as fast as it came into style. I have small ankles and calves and this boot fits them so incredibly well. I have seriously bought like five different kinds of boots of other designers and the calves are enormous. If you have skinny legs this is the boot for you.

Calf is very narrow -
The calf on this boot is quite narrow - I could not zip it up. My calves are a bit more athletic, but I'm a small person (5’1” and 115 lbs) and these boots just don't work.

Very comfortable shoe despite the height. The round toe is great especially if you have normal or slightly wide feet.

Beautiful boot, calf too large -
This boot has lovely detailing and the brown color is fabulous. Although previous reviewers said that the calf was tight (which is why I bought it), it flapped around my calves with more than an inch of space. I have 33-cm calves ... they must be the slimmest in the world. Well anyway, they didn't work for me nor would they work for anyone with slim calves, but they are great boots.

These boots are very attractive, however, I have to agree with the other reviewers and warn that the calf is VERY tight.
I have fairly small calves and am barely able to zip them up (the first time I put them on, I thought that I would have to send them back since it didn't seem that I would be able to zip them). Once they are zipped, they are okay though. Tight, but okay. Also, it helps to wear ankle socks with them since there is no way that they would zip up with anything extra on the leg.
They are so cute--I absolutely love the detail at the ankle and the heel is great.
DO NOT get these is you have a larger than average calf...
But, I would recommend them based on style.

Best Wedge Boot -
These boots are even cuter in person! I got these in brown and the stitch design & detail on the wedge heel makes these extra special. Snug at calf, but an overall comfy boot.

The footbed length felt true to size (8), but I have a high instep and that was tight, it did loosen up quickly. My calves are narrow and the boot fit perfect there. If you have wide calves this may be a problem as there is no elastic gore at the top of the boot. Plenty of toe room. Seems to have quality construction, though the leather is on the thinner side. The heel seems 'grippy' enough, but the front part of the sole has no real traction on carpet or smooth floors.
