I love these shoes. I am substitute teacher and these shoes are great when you are on your feet all day long. They are the best, and I know that a 21 year old would not wear these shoes, but I do and I do not care.

The shoes I ordered arrived in two days, and fit perfectly. I have returned shoes in the past that did not have the perfect fit, but received a replacement in a short period of time that met my satisfaction. I would highly recommend these shoes and ordering with Zappos.com.

These shoes are great. I have worn this style for several years, but my review is about the awesome customer service that I received. After placing my order online, I called the 800 number to check on another detail about the order and talked to Stephanie. She went back and checked my order to be sure all was correct and that I would receive the shoes within 24 hours. I have never had such great customer service anyplace before. So Stephanie, whoever you are, you personally made me a committed customer for Zappos. Thanks for the help and congratulations on the impressive manner in which you do your job. Thanks again.

Been buying this shoe for over 15 - 20 years and I can't believe Florsheim is still making it. Why? Because the shoe is almost impossible to wear out. It is extremely light and comfortable right out of the box. The best shoe I've ever purchased and Zappos is the place to buy it. Their service and delivery is second to none.

Poor construction - This is my fourth pair of Rivas. Most comfortable shoes ever. However there is no quality in the new pair. They are now made overseas. My newest pair lasted only 6 months before the heel came unglued from the leather upper on one shoe, and the sole cracked fully across the bottom of the shoe all the way to the shoes leather insole. Great shoe in the past, still comfortable as can be hoped for, but poor construction of this most recent pair makes me suspect of Florsheim's quality. No longer an American classic.

I purchased the Florsheim loafers for my dad who is in his late 80s and cannot make a trip to the mall. The fit was perfect and they are easy for him to put on. He is very happy with them.

I have never associated with anyone that rewards me for my mistake, as zappos did. I ordered the wrong size shoes, received free shipping for my mistake and free shipping for my re-order. I also received a coupon with new order. I promise not to continue with mistakes, but I do promise coninued ordering form zappos. I was overwhelmed with over-night delivery of my second order. Great shoe, for us I believe this is the third or fourth pair of the same style and we have a pair in two colors. Excellent fit for a narrow foot, great wear time other than the shoes tend to squeak when first breaking them in. :( Zappos service is EXCELLENT; in fact we almost have the shoes before we hit "send" for the order! Return policy is good but because we like the shoe, we know we won't need it!

Wow! Fantastic comfort right out of the box and good looking shoe. I wear 13C and have trouble finding shoes that fit, but these feel great. Also, I got next day delivery at no charge. Great service!!

I have been buying this same shoe for over ten years because of its traditional style and comfort. The composite sole is also very important to me since I tend to drag my left foot do to childhood polio and I therefore wear out leather soles in six months. This shoe can be worn for casual or dress occasions.

Riva is both stylish and comfortable -
I can hardly find shoes in my small size, with an extra wide width, these shoes are extremely comfortable due to the rubber soles, yet, they look sharp because of the soft kidskin uppers. I am going to order another color.

My husband absolutely loves these shoes. They fit perfectly and for a man who has so many problems finding narrow shoes, he is in heaven with these.

Feels like a gloves on your feet -
The leather is soft. The slippers are very light and it takes a while to get used to wearing them. Perhaps, because I am used to slippers with flat soles that fit loosely, although I only buy slippers in my exact size. (9 1/2 C) The only negative thing about these slippers is they look too nice, more like street shoes than slippers. They are well worth the price.

I tried this on in a store. It runs about a half size big. I usually am an 8.5 and sometimes a 9. Usually a euro 39. My foot is medium width, but just a hair wide (though not enough to buy a wide size). Anyway, the 8.5 in these was quite loose. I would have needed heel pads, even with mid-weight socks. The 8 felt great. I didn't get them though since they didn't have an 8 in the color I wanted, so I'm so glad Zappos got them in stock! Yay! The buckle straps are flimsy, but unless you touch them, they don't look too cheap. There is a bit of cushion in the footbed, so I think they'll be reasonably comfy.

Quality issue -
This is a great shoe which is stylish and very comfortable for daily use. However the buckle on the top (with the "F" on it) popped out of the shoe one week after I got it. I currently had to reinsert it and glue it back on. Not very impressive workmanship.

Dress comfort -
I have owned sveral pair of these shoes over the years the leather uppers are soft and very comfortable not much in the way of arch support but I doubt anyone would be doing much long distance walking in these shoes. The leather lining gives the shoe the look and feel of quality.
