Your Feet Won't Hurt -
These shoes are very comfortable with good cushioning. They do run very short, I went up 1 1/2 sz for wearing socks. Without socks one size up will be OK. Would like to see them in other colors.

Shoes made for dancing!!
I take hip hop classes and never realized that the shoe makes the girl :) Now I can spin like a champ and I move more like a dancer. The support is GREAT. I purchased one size larger than my normal street size, thanks to other reviews, and they fit perfectly.

Interesting dance shoe -
I use this shoe for Jazzercise and I found I sometimes slide. The sole needs to have more gripping power. I do, however, find it an interesting shoe for dance.

Great dance shoe -
I bought these to replace an old pair of Capezio dance sneakers that I loved....the first one they made. I am enjoying them...little wide for me but my foot is narrow. I use these shoes for line dancing and they are great and I can dance all day in them if needed. I generally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 so I ordered an 8 1/2 and they are perfect.

Feel a little small, but good for dancing -
These are really nice shoes, but they feel a little small. I wear a 71/2 no matter what and I think I could have done an 8 and been more comfortable.

Looking for an alternative for regular aerobic shoes -
I found this shoe very comfortable. The flexibility was certainly much better than a regular aerobic shoe, but the sole had a tendency to pick up dust and hold on to it, making it very slippery at times. As to the fit…well, I did ballet for twenty years and am used to shoes that feel as if they have been painted on my feet. In fact, I feel uneasy if they are in the least bit loose, so the fit for me was true to size. If you are used to a regular fitting shoe, then I would order at least a half size larger.

Great for folk dance, too!
I got my Fierce (love that name!) Dancesneakers for Jazzercise and folk dance and I find them perfect for both. I do international folk dance (mostly Balkan) and for parties it's nice to have a regular dance shoe, but for all-day workshops and or just regular classes, the Dancesneakers let me move lightly and turn easily but are gentle on my feet and knees!
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I love my Keen sandals, which have a similar great support.

Inadequate cushioning for high impact aerobics -
I like the shoe, but I need more cushioning for high impact jazzercise 4 times a week. It would be great shoe for a light workout, very comfortable, but it was not what I need.

Dance the night away -
I bought these for salsa classes and believe me the difference is very noticeable. After my 2 hr class my feet do not hurt and I feel like I could dance the night away. I got a half size larger and it fits perfectly.

I usually have purchased the Avia aerobic shoes but thought I would give the Capezio Dancesneaker a try for my 4x week Jazzercise class which includes step. There is really no arch support in this shoe and my arches ached badly after the second time using them. I went back to the Avia aerobics for support and shock absorption factors. The Capezio’s were much lighter and easier to bend the foot and point the toe in than regular aerobic shoes. I heeded the other reviews and purchased them a half size larger than my normal size and they fit fine.

These are great dance sneakers. I use them for a jazz dance class. They are very comfortable. I usually wear a 7 1/2 -8 in regular shoes and the size 8 fit me perfectly. I highly recommend these dance sneakers, especially if you have wide feet.

Best News for Dancers -
I wish I had known about these shoes years ago. These are the best shoes for dancing anyone could ask for. Take note of the recommendation to purchase this shoe one and one half to two sizes larger than your regular shoe size. If I were running the country I would have Zappos as my administrative cabinet. They are fantastically organized. ET

Thrilled!
I use this shoe for Jazzercise and saw a huge difference between this shoe and a regular gym shoe. Definitely go 1 full size up from street size. I also have to brag on Zappos return service...I exchanged this shoe for a larger size and was given priority shipping FREE and 2 weeks to return the original pair at no return cost to me. You will be thrilled with this shoe and thrilled with Zappos service!

Great Dance Shoe!!!
I bought this shoe to use when taking a cardio Latin Impact class at my gym. They are great!!! No slipping or sliding, while allowing free movement. After reading all the reviews, I ordered them 1/2 size larger, and they fit perfectly. Thanks Zappos!!!

Capezio Dancesneaker -
I like this shoe! It is comfortable. I use it in Jazzercise. It feels different than a crosstraining shoe which is what I'm used to so took a couple of times to get used to it. Its fun to be able to point my toe more than the other people in class. I got a compliment on its look. I bought a 1/2 size bigger and it fits just right.

Capezio Fierce Dancesneaker-
I love these shoes. Of course, they don't look as fancy as pumps, but they are much more comfortable. I used them for contra (country) dance, and my feet felt great before, during, and afterwards. These shoes are lightweight and turn well on a wooden floor, two important features for dancing and dancing classes. I highly recommend them.

Great Dancing Shoes-
The shoes are very comfortable for dancing. Unfortunately, I bought them a size larger and they seem to be too large after a few wear. I would recommend that you purchase your regular shoe size or maybe a 1/2 size larger.

Awesome dance shoes!
Definitely buy these shoes! It's smooth enough where you can do a lot of spins without getting stuck with rubber soled shoes. The flat toe will definitely help you spin when needed. I would say the only two things that this shoe might need is durability. The material is very light and is good to feel everything however because of the lightness, it might affect durability. Second thing is to watch out for the shoe size. I'm usually between an 8.5-9. I decided to get a 10.5 and it fits perfectly. There's just a tiny bit of room left in front of the shoe. I think it works fine for salsa but other types of dancing that requires a lot of spins on your toes, don't know if it's the right fit or not.

Great Ankle Support!
I love this shoe. I love to dance and my feet need good support. The extra ankle support is fabulous and makes this a terrific purchase for working out and play time on the dance floor. I originally ordered the Capezio Groove Dancesneaker, but it did NOT have the ankle support this shoe offers. If you need ankle support, this is great choice.

Good little Dance Shoe-
This was my first dance shoe purchase and although I haven't actually danced in them yet I have worn them at work. I run around and go up and down stairs a lot at my job. Plus I stand for hours on end. These shoes are very comfortable and I had a lot more arch support than I expected. I ordered one size larger than I normally wear (I was very excited that they even came in a size that big) and that seemed to work out well for me. I probably could have gone down a half size. I wear thin socks with these shoes which helps my feet stay comfy.

The ultra comfortable and flexible fierce dance sneaker -
I love how comfortable they are to dance and kick box in. It feels so good to finally be able to glide naturally and do turns effortlessly without having to hear my sneakers sqeaking while skidding across the floor.. These shoes do run on the small side. I had to buy them in a whole size bigger than my regular shoe size. They also look stylish.
