Zappos is a wonderful place to buy shoes from. I received my shoes 24 hours after my phone call! The nice customer service person recommended that I go with size 10, I wear 9-1/2. After reading the reviews, I thought that size 10 might be too big, but size 10 is perfect. The smaller size would have been way too small. The seams inside the shoes are rough and scratchy, but I think that they will soften with time. Where the elastic is sewn on is also rough. I bought them to wear for Tai Chi. They are like wearing no shoes at all, the sole is extremely thin. They are very comfortable, but odd looking on the foot.

These feel just like slippers. But definitely order a size smaller than you usually wear.

Great for Tai Chi.
I bought these little shoes to help me with some torque issues I have with my knees while practicing Tai Chi & to keep my feet warmer in class. They really help! I get good turns, the snug fit helps me remain aware of the "center" of my motions (and yes I bought 1 size smaller than my street size, as others recommended, so I marked the fit rating accordingly). The elastic bands across the top are not bothersome at all and the shoe stays on great, no flopping around in turns, kicks or what have you. I wear them for about an hour at a time and then take them off, so my review is based on that length of wear and not all day or something. I highly recommend these for Tai Chi!

Excellent dance slipper -
This slipper fits like a glove & feels so comfortable. The seamless suede bottom gives you a completely smooth & even surface to dance on while protecting your feet from rough or uneven dance floor surfaces as well as providing good traction. They are as comfortable as a pair of socks with little or no need to break in & they make a great house/travel slipper as well! Definitely size down when ordering for a glove like fit especially if you're using them for dance!

Super footwear for times when you really just want to be in socks, but need to wear something that looks like a shoe. It's not for the outdoors, since the sole is very thin and the bulk of it is mostly fabric. But it's great for indoors, the next best thing to going barefoot, with a nice strip of leather sole to give it no-slip traction. I wear a size nine and these shoes fit me perfectly in the size eight.

Fantastic!
I'm not a dancer or anything; I just wanted something comfy to wear around the house especially when venturing down the steps into our basement. These shoes fit great and they're really comfortable! They're also great when you travel...they take up much less space in my bag then my big puffy slippers!

Traction, protection.
I wear these for oriental/belly dance practices. Good traction without slipping. Street shoe size 7.5 US, ordered this shoe in 7- still roomy. Fades black on my foot, but I guess that will go away with time.

Great shoe -
Great shoe- I bought these for the leather sole- so I woudn't tear up the bottom of my feet in my Belly Dance class. They have stretched out a bit, they still fit great- but next time i will order them 1/2 to a size smaller because they are soo stretchy. Also- the leather sole is longer than I expected--I am used to a gathered toe and this shoe actually has the toe seam beyond my toes- another reason I will be getting a smaller pair next time. :)

I like these, the fit is great & they are comfortable, but my feet turned black after wearing them. Perhaps they need to be washed first?
