Perfect for twists & turns -
I'm a fitness instructor who leads a variety of classes. I do not use them for all classes, but do for the ones that require me to twist & turn without placing stress on my knees while still providing support for the strength training portion of the class. I normally wear a 9 - 9 1/2 size sneaker, and purchased an 11 which fit perfectly!

I bought this shoe for work. I have a heel problem and needed support and cushion. I am on my feet for about 15 hours a day. This shoe provides me with comfort and relief. I did buy a size and a half bigger according to other reviews.

ZUMBA SNEAKER!
Start with 1 full size to 1 1/2 sizes larger than other dance shoes or street shoes. I wear 7.5 in all Capezio dance styles & I needed size 9 in Bloch Boost sneaker. Required 3 exchanges but no problem at Zappos. Boost sneaker has good support & is a great look for Zumba class. At first I ordered Capezio canvas dance sneaker but not satisfied with side support. Prefer my sneakers in wide width but the lacing on Bloch Boost makes width easier to adjust than some sneaker styles. Have purchased my dance shoes from Zappos for years & will continue to do so. Best service you'll find on the web. Thanks again Zappos!

Great For Step Classes!
It's a great shoe for the step classes that I take at least 4 times per week. It feels funny at first and the sole is quite slippery on the laminate aerobic floors. It's not very pretty on the feet, but it keeps me stepping longer since my arches don't hurt while I wear them. Previously, I have been using my custom orthotics in cardio shoes and have been replacing the shoes every 4 months because of the arch pain. I will definitely be buying these again! I wear a size 9 in most shoes, but I had to buy a 10.5.

Like the others I ordered a size-and-a-half up (I am 7.5, ordered a 9) -- they fit great! I love these and will get another pair.

Zumba shoe!
Hi, got these for Zumba. I wear a 9-9.5 and I bought the 11. I have a high arch and plantar fac. so I need to put an extra insole in, as there is no arch support. My arches are tired at the end of class. But this shoe helps me do the moves in class now because the sole doesn't stick to the floor like my cross trainers. I might try a shoe without a split sole next time.

Great for Zumba!
I'm either a 7 or 7.5, depending on the shoe. Based on the reviews here, I ordered black in 9. With thick socks, it fits just fine. But I'm ordering a second pair in 8.5, because I prefer to wear thin socks. Yes, they're slippery, especially at the beginning, but that has helped me turn better in Zumba class. My only wish is that these came in White... I like wearing white, not black, socks -- white socks with black sneakers makes me feel like a referee!

Like them!
I do like these shoes and they are pretty comfortable, funky feeling, but cool. I was hoping to get relieve from pain from high arches, it didn't bother me for the first couple of days, then same old pain, no worse no better.
They are a flexible shoe and good for dancing or working out in. I wear 6.5 to size 7 and ordered an 8 they fit fine, but definitely order a size up!

Looks good and feels great, and I was ready to Zumba. Just know that it doesn't have the stability and grip for other aerobics, which is why it is perfect for dance where you need to pivot.

Order at least 1.5 sizes larger than your normal shoe. I wear an 8W/8.5 but ordered a 10 in this sneaker and the fit is good with thin socks. This shoe has good cushioning in heel/toe part of the sole. No-tread bottom and flexible sole make turning easy in dance class. I find them a bit slippier on floors than Nike dance fitness shoes. This shoe also has a variety of lacing options to play with for achieving a comfortable fit.

Disappointed in the shoes -
I unfortunately do not have a glowing review for this shoe. I was very excited to receive them and they did arrive very quickly. (Like the other reviewers, I decided to err on the side of caution and ordered a size 8, even though I normally wear a 6.5. With a thicker sock they were still quite snug, and I probably should have ordered another half-size up.) However, I wore them to my Zumba dance class for the very first time today, and looked down at the right shoe at the end of class only to find that the stitching was coming apart right where the suede part is stitched to the mesh part (on the top, just at the very base of the big toe). I must also note that I have a flat foot and there is essentially no arch support in these shoes. Perhaps I just got a defective pair. In any case, they will be going back today. I am definitely disappointed, because I did like the look of the shoe.

Let's Get Ready to Z-U-M-B-A -
I love this shoe!! I'm a new Zumba instructor who had started feeling pain in my knees due to the twist and turns done in Zumba on carpet. My previous shoes didn't allow the full range of motion required for Zumba. These shoes are spectacular. I'm twisting, turning, and swirling like Michael Jackson, I love it!! They're one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
This shoe does run small. I typically wear an 8 but ordered a 9 which fit perfect.(FYI, I do have a very skinny foot and a high arch so 1 size bigger worked for me you may need to do 1.5 or 2).

During the same week, I ordered from two new companies and was 110% satisfied with Zappos and won't order from the other company again. Order the shoe 1-1/2 sizes larger than you normally wear and expect prompt delivery. (I tango better too)

Exceeded My Expectations!
Originally I ordered this shoe/sneaker for the sleek look. I wanted it for walking and possibly to practice dancing. It turns out to be excellent for both. I read the other reviews and since I wear a ladies size 7.5, I decided to order the 9, and that was a great call. I use my orthodics in them, and they are comfortable and light on my feet. I’m going to order another pair and get rid of my other sneakers! Also, as a first time customer, Zappos sent my Capezios overnight. All in All, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and the customer service!

I LOVE this shoe, got it in red and WILL get the other colors! Listen to everybody else regarding size; you need to order at LEAST 2 sizes larger (I'm going to try 2-1/2 sizes up next, so I can wear thicker socks). I constantly get compliments on them!

I took the advice of many of the reviews and ordered one full size up from my street shoes. It fits perfectly. Great for Zumba and kick-boxing classes (or any other fitness class that requires turning and pivoting).

The shoes are well suited for their intended purpose i.e., better turning and flexion in a dance class. The look is ok - not my favorite look, but I bought them for their "dance" properties, not for their look. I think that they are the nicest looking of the flat dance sneakers. The sneakers also do not grab the floor as securely as a more conventional type sneaker would, but then again, I can turn better in these shoes than a regular sneaker. I bought a full size larger than my normal size.

Great dance sneaker, but they run very small. In a normal shoe, I wear a 6.5 (7 with socks); in this shoe, the size that fits (with a sock) is 8.5.

My Zumba dancing sneaker -
This shoe/sneaker is fabulous. The support is superb, the fit is snug and just right for all that fancy Zumba footwork. You can really move in this shoe. The heel has an air bubble in it for great heel support and the flexibility of the arch is awesome. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone who needs a dance shoe. I'm thinking of ordering another pair just to wear around casually because it so comfortable and supportive. I normally wear a 7.5, but for this shoe, I ended up ordering a 9.5. I'm not sure why this is so, but you may need to order up at least 1.5 sizes.

I had read that the shoe ran small so I ordered a full size larger. It fits but is very snug. I'd order a size & half larger next time. It also does slide very easily on the gym floors so I tend to be very careful when doing step aerobics. I wish it had more traction. It is a nice looking shoe otherwise and comfortable if it wasn't so tight.

Bought these to workout in... wow are they small. I would say 1 to 1 1/2 sizes larger depending on the leg work you are going to be doing.

 |  | Super Boots, Incredible Service - I totally love my boots. I am 60 years old with lots of foot issues so I searched for low heels and width. My boots came in a flash and I was very excited to try them on, but alas, one boot was clearly not wide enough while the other was perfect! I called Zappos and spoke to a fabulous young woman, who was an obvious poster child for great customer service! A new pair of boots arrived in two days and was a perfect fit on both feet! The boots are made of smooth soft leather and look very stylish! I am sure I will be wearing them for several years. Last week I received a postcard from my customer service rep. She not only wished me well in my new boots, but referenced the great party I was to attend in these boots. Wow! Now that is customer service with a personal touch.
