Great shoe even for adults. I'm a 46-year-old woman and I have always worn kid’s shoes as adult shoes don't come in a 2.5. I have a really difficult time finding good quality and something without a pony, mermaid or flashing lights on it. I love these shoes. They are everything they claim to be in the description. I have a new treadmill and am starting to give these a good 'run for the money' and am very happy so far.

Looked great to me but my son wouldn't wear it -
My son is used to very flexible shoes with velcro closures. He is almost 5 years old, and is very picky about what he wears and sensitive about how things feel. His current favorite shoes are Crocs and Tsukihoshi shoes because they are very flexible and comfortable. However, we needed some lace up sneakers that would stay on securely and give more support for playing t-ball and soccer. After reading reviews, we tried this Saucony. It was a good looking shoe and seemed reasonably flexible, but my son wouldn't wear it for more than 10 seconds. He didn't find it at all comfortable in comparison to the shoes he is used to. We decided to try wide shoes (even though his foot having a shoe with more structure to it than he's used to. Unfortunately, we didn't see this shoe available in a wide, so we tried a New Balance. He liked it better but would still only wear it for about 1 minute. Finally we found one that he'll wear. It is a Stride Rite Propulsion Lace and comes in a wide size. We just don't tie it too terribly tight, and he loves it. Also, it was one of the only kids' lace up sneakers that was more of a cross trainer and less of a running shoe (the running shoes don't really give lateral support which we wanted given the way kids cut all over the place when running around outside).

Lightweight and comfy!
Just got these for my 4-year-old in size 10.5. He is floating around the house in these shoes! The arch is just right and again, it's a very lightweight pair of shoes.

Great summer sneaker -
I bought this for my 3 1/2 yr old son. This is a great sneaker for summer. The mesh all1ows for lots of airflow. The only downfall is that dirt can also get in through the mesh...I had to was the sneakers in the washer after the first few wears. The good news is that they came out of the washer looking great!

Great athletic shoe for kids -
My son is extremely picky about his sneakers--and doesn't exactly take the optimal amount of time to insure that they are tied correctly. Well, he LOVES these. He's able to easily get them on and off--and they give him great support. Since we've been buying "tie" sneakers. These have been his favorite.

My 8 year old son loves these shoes. We looked for a new pair of shoes for him for over a month and he kept saying none of them were comfortable. We tried on a pair of Saucony's somewhere else and he said they were super comfy! They look and feel great! Zappos was the only place they were available in his size.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: My son says they are the best ever!
