I bought this shoe for work in my restaurant. When I tried it on, it was a full size too small, but I gave them to my roommate who wears a 10, she gets my shoes that don't fit. She is very happy with these shoes.

After wearing this shoe for a couple of hours -
I figured this would be a good shoe for the rain, everyday wear and walking. First off, this shoe looks like a man's shoe (ugly). I thought, well, I can work thru this if it is a good reliable shoe. This shoe isn't comfortable after wearing it more than a couple of hours and I am honestly sorry for purchasing it. Since there is no way I would have known this, I hope you who are reading this, will take heed and NOT buy it.

Dickies Oxford work shoe -
The shoe is very comfortable, to work and otherwise. For winter months. I order and 8 and I need and 8.5. Other than that the shoe is great.

I ordered these shoes to give my mother more traction in the snow. My son is a huge dickies fan. I liked the look of this shoe for casual wear but my mother has a wide foot. Where the shoe starts to lace, was too tight across my mother's foot without even standing up. It needs a higher top I guess for a wider foot. I am now looking for a EE shoe for her. Too bad, I really liked this shoe. I may eventually order a pair for myself. This pair would be too small and too wide for me. I can't really judge for the correct width or size as I don't wear this size myself.

A GOD send... For so long I searched for this very thing. I cannot believe it was so hard to find a perfect, perfect replacement for something I had been searching on-line for so long. I DID put in a Dr. Scholls Gel cushion for extra support.
Shipping was so fast. I am going to order more! FANTASTIC and I cannot say enough-please do not discontinue this wonderful, supportive shoe for us working girls!

Perfect except one thing!
Loved these shoes--looked good for work and play, ultimately got a size that fit perfectly--except for the steel toes!
It totally ruined the shoe for me. Just couldn't get comfortable, felt like there was no wiggle room at all at the toes.

Good anti-slip, all purpose shoes. Took a little breaking in, but they are now my all around favorites.

Great shoe!
These were a surprise to me. I didn't expect such a nice, sturdy shoe. They are great for people like me who have long periods of each day when you just STAND.
Because of the reviews I ordered a half size larger and the wide. I probably could've gotten away with the medium but I have narrow heels and wide toes!
I like these shoes very much! Oh, the toe seems to be steel enforced. Some may like this and others may not.

Great looking shoe! But as another customer stated, a 1/2 size up would help. I normally wear a 7.5 but these fit too tight at the toe so I'm ordering an 8...hope this works!

Nice looking shoe, but......
The shoe is nice looking, but I agree you might want a half size bigger. My toe is right at the top and it could have little more cushions, but overall it’s great. I also have a prescription orthotic and fits right in with the width and it has good arch and ankle support.

These shoes were comfortable from the first day; I thought they would need to be broken in. I had no problems. I wear my custom orthotics with the shoe. I have Plantar Fasciitis and these shoes give me the support I need.

Great shoe for work. Felt true to size, I have a wide foot and a narrow ankle and this shoe fit very well. Lightweight but heavy duty!

Great Kitchen Shoe -
I've been very pleased with the Dickies Oxford; I own a cafe and catering business so I'm on my feet in a kitchen anywhere from 8-12 hours a day. In fact I like them so well I'll be purchasing a second pair!

Nice shoe but size is a little off.

Good Shoe -
This shoe is an excellent work shoe if you have a messy job. I spill a lot of plaster on my shoes each day and this is the first pair of shoes that I have tried where it wipes right off. It has a lot of room to add arch supports or heel cups if you need them.

I purchased the shoes for my daughter. She put them on Christmas day and wore them for several hours. She loved them. They fit fine and did not cause problems whatsoever.
