Julbo Colorado -
First pair of glacier glasses and first pair of Julbos. They are very nice, comfortable and look good. To remove the side shields you squeeze the plastic side shield frames together till the small pins are out of the glasses frame then slide the shield off of the temple. They are very dark and relaxing to wear in bright sunlight. Great protection and great service from Zappos. Ordered them late Sunday PM and received on Tuesday. Beware of other net "deals" at lesser prices, as competitors put in shipping charges and handling fees. Have purchased several pairs of shoes from Zappos and have been extremely satisfied. You might pay a dollar or two more than from other net retailers but Zappos service is more than worth it in reliability.

Great for desert or snow, BUT not driving -
I bought these for use in the desert, the Sahara actually. When the wind blows you want these and a turban. They do the best to keep sand out of my eyes. I suppose all you Burning Man folks can use these too. The DANGER of these is easy to avoid and that is this: Driving or biking with these is a no, no. You've got severe blind spots to the left and right and you don't even know it till maybe too late. Take the easily removable flaps off each side and you are fine! Don't forget. I didn't buy these for style; this is a purchase you make for practicality.
