I purchased these shoes also to match the lace on my wedding gown. They are certainly a "high" heel, but I have noticed that they seem a bit narrow in the toe, but wide in the back. I'll have to stick a bit of tissue to pad the back of the heel to make it a perfect fit so it doesn't ride the back of my heel and cause a blister. So if you’re looking for the absolute whitest shoe, buy from Zappos. Need it "not so white" - go to the other two stores that carry this line. Hope this review saves you the calling around and searching I did.

I bought these shoes for my wedding in January, and have since worn them to the symphony and other occasions. Never have I received so many compliments on a pair of shoes before! They are the most stunning and elegant shoes I've ever had the pleasure of owning. I bought half a size larger to wear with invisible-toe stockings at my wedding, but without the stockings there was quite a bit of room at the back of my heel. Also, I'm considering purchasing fitted cushions for the heels for longer periods of wear. But these are beautiful well-crafted shoes and I always feel like a princess in them!

 |  | I want to personally thank all of you for sending my shoes standard overnight, even though I opted for UPS ground shipping. I only had one pair of black oxfords and they became unglued after doing some yard work. I have black jeans and clothes to wear them with, and needed these shoes very badly. My sister was dismissed from her job two months ago and I have been paying all of the house bills and mortgage by myself, and did not have the extra money for an overnight shipment, so thank you for going 50 extra miles and doing that for me.
