These shoes are great. My physical therapist recommended them, I had never heard of them before. They are extremely comfortable with excellent arch support.

Cute flip flops! Good quality with arch support. The thong strap a little too loose for me, but the crisscross straps adjust well. Montrail Molokini remains my ultimate favorite in this category; sole even more comfy.

I love these sandals! I bought them, one, because of my job. I am a pool manager here on Okinawa, and I prefer to wear sandals rather than walking around bare foot. We had a group of people come out this summer and help at the pools. A couple of the girls had them (different style) but they looked comfortable. So I looked them up. Got very excited to find they were in red! They are super comfy, the arch is in the exact spot it needs to be and I was able to purchase my normal size and it be right on the money as far as the fit. I recommended these to many. The sole is nice, I don't slip around on the pool deck and I am not afraid to get these wet. I also liked the adjustable straps, which is nice because like most, my right foot is different than my left.

I bought these shoes a couple months ago for a camping trip, but couldn't wear them after the first day due to blisters. My feet had to get used to the extra straps and they were pretty stiff, so I didn't feel the same comfort that I was used to with my older Chaco flips. Having owned several pair of Chacos in the past and loving them, I stuck with these shoes and finally broke them in. I'm glad that I have them; they are good for going in the water without worrying that they will come off and have good arch support for walking. That said, I probably would have been more satisfied if I had just bought another pair of the Chaco flips instead.

Finally, I can wear flip-flops! My sensitive, princess-and-the-pea feet do not like flip-flop-type shoes, but love the Hipthongs! The 9 was a little small, and the 10 was a little big, so half-sizes would have been better.

After months of searching, I finally found a sandal that has enough arch support. I have had serious heel pain for several months. The only thing that helped was orthotics inside of my athletic shoes - quite hot, not to mention ugly, for the summer. While I wish these sandals had a softer footbed, you can\'t beat the support (and they don\'t look dorky!).\r\n

Love these sandals! I suffered with plantar fasciitis from wearing cheap flip flops, but no more! Once I started wearing these and other sandals from Chacos, I am pain free. This is my 2nd pair of hipthongs, and I'd order more if I could find them in other colors. They are stylish, and so comfortable. My only nit is that the adjustable strap on the side is a little long, but I took them to my local shoe repair and had her shorten it by about an inch. They (the hipthong) are true to size, no break in period needed. Chacos, keep making the hipthong! (I also have the leather flips, which run small, so order a size up.) Zappos, you're the best in customer service!

I received Chaco's Z/2 Unaweep and am highly disappointed that they hurt my big toe so badly that I can't wear them for more than an hour or two. Not so with the Hipthong; they feel wonderful after a full day! They required a little bit of adjusting at first for a good fit, but have not needed any more after the first week of wear. My Unaweep's on the other hand need constant adjusting to loosen the cinch on the big toe. Go with these or the Z/1 Unaweep instead!

I recently ordered 2 pairs of Chaco sandals from Zappos. One pair was the Chaco Hipthong. It showed shipping two days later, (I ordered on a weekend) and I received them in less than a week. Zappo's was the only place I could find the blue hipthong. No one else had any blue ones left, and most didn't have any of any color left. The price was comparable to all others, that didn't have any left. Very pleased to have ordered from Zappo and will probably do so again.

Zappos is the bomb! Free shipping both ways and I got my Chaco shoes overnight! I love them. They are the best shoes ever. They have a really high arch and are very supportive. I cannot wait to use Zappos again in the future.

Super comfortable for a flip flop. Superior arch support and extra straps are adjustable and provide stability. I have worn them for extended periods of walking/standing from the time I received them-no breaking in. Cleaned up nice after our beach vacation, and I received several compliments on them. True to size- similar to Keen in fit. I have a wide foot and they fit great.

I ordered the Hipthong based on the great reviews. I have constant swelling in my left foot and ankle and wanted a sandal with adjustable straps so that I could accommodate the swelling. I love these sandals. I bought them in digital green and while they started out feeling like hard bricks on my feet, they did become much more comfortable the more I wore them. I\'m still getting used to the arch support because I have flat arches but overall I really like these sandals. The best part was the great customer service from Zappos. When I first wanted to order the Hipthongs (in either blue or green) they were both out of stock in my size. I signed up for the email alert and Zappos notified me as soon as the sandal was back in stock. Imagine my absolute delight when I received the sandals the very next day without having to pay for express shipping. Thank you Zappos for the quick delivery and the great customer service. You\'re a true pleasure to buy from!!

While I really like the look of these Chacos. If you have a narrow foot you will have to adjust some of the straps and they won't be even with the straps that are not adjustable. I made them work, but they luckily fit my daughter better.

Great fit, great support. The placement of the straps takes a little getting used to. On me, the regular flip flop piece is a little loose, and the extra straps hold it on. Love it, but not for long walks. For that I wear my other Chacos - the Z/1 upsweep. In fact, I wear the Z/1 upsweep almost everyday.

Good fit, good arch support. I love Chacos! This is my second pair, and I plan to keep a pair or two in my shoe wardrobe indefinitely. This is a shoe I can actually walk in all day. I give the style only 3 stars because, let\'s face it, this is not high fashion. But if that\'s not your main purpose, you\'ll love it.

I love my new Chaco flip flops. I usually don't wear flip flops because they slip around and don't stay secure, but these are the coolest. They fit snug and I can run and jump and even hike in them. The coolest thing is I ordered them at 9p my time and they were on my porch the next day when I got home from work. It blows me away they send them cross country so fast.

Love my sandals. I've got another pair of Chaco's and they are as comfortable. They stay on my feet and are great for walking in. My only surprise was the color. I ordered the green and the color is much brighter than the pic. online.

I was looking for a comfortable shoe that could go from land to water easily (for a river raft trip), so I looked at Chaco shoes and found this pair. They are perfect. Comfortable, yet nicely styled, durable and, being Chacos, they hold up to wear and to being wet. They fit well and are easy to adjust with the side strap. I love them.

I love this shoe. I have five pairs of Chaco sandals and love all of them. I normally wear a 9, but in Chaco I wear a size 10 and don't even think I could fit my foot into a 9. However, the support is excellent. I was having problems with plantar fasciitis and since I started wearing shoes with better arch support my problems have disappeared.

I was very happy with my Chaco Hipthongs. They provide a more supportive footbed than the classic Chaco flip. The extra strap also provides a little more stability for outdoor adventure. Zappos was great as well-- they had them to me the next afternoon! I definitely recommend both the Hipthongs and Zappos!

Nice sandals! I love the arch support. The extra straps took some getting used to, but they are fine now that they are broken in a bit. They seem very durable, and I love the color. Overall, these are great flip-flops.

Comfortable sandals from a support perspective, not mushy, cushy flip flops. The straps adjust to fit, which is very nice. I would recommend these for when you need more support than a "standard" flip flop but not necessarily a stand-in for a sport sandal.

Chaco Hipthong sandals feel true to size and are average (B-C) witdth. The sandal straps easily adjust to high arches and two feet that are slightly different in size and shape. They adjust loosening or tightening 1 buckle and then pulling the straps through the sandal base to the most comfortable position(s). Comfortable from the first day, no blisters. The materials are high quality, can be washed off with a hose; and I expect that these sandals will last well.

 |  | Zappos, you are amazing! Can you please explain to me how you can make shoes arrive on my doorstep 12 hours after I order them? I placed my order at 10 pm, and by 10 the next morning I got an email saying the box was on my porch. Even my daughter was impressed, because she knows that when you order things ‘on the computer’ they generally take ‘forever’ to get here. We are mystified but very grateful!
