Great look, needs a little breaking in -
This shoe looks great with dress slacks or jeans. Ordered a 13 first and it was slipping off my heel. Ordered a 12 and it fits well and will feel great with a couple of wears!

I wear a women's standard size 9. After waiting for months for a classic women's penny loafer in my size to appear, and since this is pretty much a unisex style, I gave up and ordered these men's shoes, size 7 1/2. They fit well, are very comfortable and look good.

My husband had a business trip coming up and needed a pair of oxblood loafers. We went to a department store and were told that this color was "out" and that only brown loafers were being sold. So this shoe was an emergency purchase and it pleasantly surprised both of us! Very good looking, solid construction, comfortable sole, although my husband reports it takes a while to break in. We read the other reviews and ordered the shoe in "wide," even though my husband's foot is far from wide. Overall very pleased, especially for the price!

Long wearing/good looking casual shoe, a little tight.
I really like the look of these shoes for dress casual and the cushioning is just enough to make walking comfortable but they are a little off on sizing, since it's a casual shoe I would suggest a 1/2 size up. Especially for those with tall insteps.

I've worn Nunn Bush shoes for 40+ years .. if there's a problem with them it's that they never seem to wear out. But like all loafer-type shoes there is a small problem .. they are "sock eaters"! Unless you wear knee-high socks with strong electic support socks just keep pulling down into the toes! Wish this "problem" could be solved in the construction of loafers!

I tried 10 pairs of shoes in a comparable style; all the same size and width. These were true to fit. Unfortunately these shoes were stiffer than the others tested.

These are about the most uncomfortable shoes that I have ever purchased. I am also displeased with the appearance. They have a very shiny plastic look.

Excellent fit and finish. The inner sole of the shoe is sewn in, therefore preventing inner material from separating and destroying socks. My first pair had more burgundy color and polish.

The past reviews I read indicated the shoe ran a half size too large. Depending on the shoe, I either buy a 9 1/2 or a 10. In this case, I got the 9 1/2 and it fit perfect. So, if you buy between two sizes as I do, I would suggest the smaller size. Also, the shoe was comfortable right away and looks exactly as pictured.

Zappos.com is by far the best shoe service I have ever used. I ordered a pair of Nunn Bush Lincoln shoes from Zappos.com and they arrived the very next day. The shoes were great quality and very comfortable. I liked them so much I ordered another pair from Zappos.com and they arrived the next day. Finally, I couldn't find a specific pair of shoes I was looking for, so I called Zappos. Since Zappos didn't have them, they found the shoes for me at another location and I ordered them. Zappos is the Best shoe shopping experience-- bar none.

Nunn Bush Lincoln review -
I received these shoes after looking in the mall for black dress penny loafers and not finding any that either fit or felt comfortable. The Nunn Bush Lincoln's are a bit stiff but I am sure after an initial break in will soften and adapt to the contours of my feet. I have a pair of Nunn Bush's, different style dress loafer, that is made of a softer leather and were comfortable from the start. The Lincoln's are a more traditional dress shoe. Incidentally, the shoes arrived at my door exactly one day after I had entered my order. Zappos service is top notch. Thank you.

These are the best shoes I have ever owned, and they were much less expensive than retail (and no sales tax). They got here in two days, and I have been wearing old beat ups for years because I hate to go to the mall. Zappos is the only way to go.

The shoes are a bit stiff out of the box but have become very comfortable after a short break-in. They are a shade wider than normal.

Not the same product I was expecting -
My husband has a pair of these shoes purchased elsewhere in a retail location. These shoes appear to be more like a knock-off rather than of the quality expected. The label is different as is the sole composition and it is of inferior quality to that which he currently owns.

Nice Craftsmanship -
I'd been unfamiliar with Nunn Bush shoes. I picked up one of their street styles and although I returned it what I discovered was this great shoe maker. These loafers, and I'm sure many other of their dress shoes, have been cut from a great original design. There is a nice length to the toe of these. The cushioning makes you feel almost as if you are wearing an Air sole. And the style says, "Smart, savvy, with an old world finish." If you are looking for a work or casual loafer I would give these a spin.

A nice shoe and nice fit, but . . .
I'll probably keep these shoes because the size is right. But while the right fits perfectly, the left is torture. For some reason the left shoe, unlike the right, binds across my instep like a steel clamp. My left foot is still sore from yesterday.
At this point, I'm willing to work on the shoe and try to break it in, but it's disappointing to get what one foot tells me is a perfect pair of shoes when my left says this is a bad mistake. But I'll give them a chance.

What a great shoe, this is my 4th pair! Out of the box, they are very comfortable. Great shine, means that they look great with a suit. I do about 20 trade-shows a year, and the cushion sole is better than any other shoe on the market! You will love them.
