I wanted to be a cowboy for Halloween but never thought I could get my wide feet in a pair of cowboy boots. But these fit as advertised and have a great look. Originally the right was slightly tighter than the left, which fit perfectly, so I give comfort 4/5 stars, but after a few days of wearing them, it is not as noticeable. I will definitely be wearing these for more than just Halloween.

This being my first pair of Durangos I was quite impressed with the quality and feel of the shoe. Prior to purchasing I was torn between the Frye belted harness boots that are almost identical to the Durango and not knowing how they would fit I tried on a pair of Fryes at my local Bloomingdales and was sold on the look and feel, just not the price. I opted to go with Durango due to the price and once on my feet I knew I made the right choice. This boot can be worn all day and feel as comfortable as the next shoe and with its distinct heel and toe is a head turner. I love the feel of the leather and fact that its held up under intense conditions and still looks brand new.

The boots fit as predicted. They do not come with a removable insole, but they do have some padding. I ordered a 10.5 because I usually wear a 10.5 shoe. Even with the insoles I added, they still fit correctly. The color in the picture is not completely accurate to the pair I received. My boots were pretty much a uniform brown throughout. The picture makes them look a little more distressed, but I noticed some change toward that way with wear and time. Overall a good boot and great experience with Zappos.

This was the second boot I invested money into but the first to go past my expectations. Durango has definitely out did themselves with this boot. Comfort, style, and durability. I have owned mine for a year and put them threw the worst of the worst and they’re still standing strong and look good.

I purchased this boot in black for my husband. He loved it so much, that I got him another pair in brown. Wish you had them for women! I have the Frye Harness boot which is also a great quality boot (very stylish) but, tough to break in. The leather is softer on the Durango.

Durango stands for durability -
This boots looks awesome, but the quality of the leather is inferior compared to Frye’s. I am surprised to know that these boots are imported and made outside the USA. However, they are well built and the stitches are simple and tight. The fit is ok and the rubber soles are starting to show some minor wear and tear. I will prefer to buy Durango instead of Born Lance boots which doesn't even offer a good arch support. Overall, Durangos are well built both inside and outside.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: If you want quality, buy Fryes. Worth every penny.

As a general matter, I like my Durangos a lot. However, from almost the first day, the insole covering started rolling up from the heel. It would make a sharp little lump that I had to unroll three or four times a day. A year and a half later, it's the same story. It seems I'm the only person who's had that problem, though.

Comfortable boot, once you buy some insoles with better arch support. Rivals my Bates Enforcer boots as to which I would prefer wearing all day.
The brass could be more subdued. It's a bit shiny for my tastes.
Good boots overall.

For the money these boots will last a lifetime. Good fit even for wide feet, though I must say, breaking these boots in will take time. They look awesome with torn jeans. Be cool even if you’re not a cowboy or biker.
Zappos good job! I’m a fan.

This was by far the BEST .com order I have ever made... and I buy most everything online. I love my boots-
This boot is very comfortable. I have walked all day in them and had no problems with my feet. Zappos service was, as usual 5 stars. Zappos is the only place I will buy shoes from.

Bought them for my boyfriend- He loved them!
The boots are gorgeous- they are a little more brownish red than this picture shows. I like their actual color more. I bought them as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them!

This was my first experience with Zappos..... and I was thrilled with everything! From the selection, to the ease of using the site, to the quick turnaround of my order and Fast shipping!
On top of a great buying experience, these are a tremendous pair of boots! Very solidly constructed, great looking leather, and nice sole. They were a bit snug at first but are breaking in perfectly..... Very true to size.

Great Boots-
Boots were delivered as promised 3-5 days.
They fit very well, perfect fit for me I would say; true to size and with. Leather and soles are excellent quality. Only thing with the boots is that the come without insoles so they are not that comfortable and they tire out your feet. You got to get your insoles. After you put the insoles they are great, even to run!!!

Nice Boot for higher arch-
I've never worn harness boots before and it was hard to get use to seeing a square toe in stead of the typical pointed cowboy toe I've been use to for the past 40 years. The boot fits well considering I have one foot a full 1/2 size bigger than the other.
The soles are slippery on wet floors and concrete and hopefully will improve as it wears.

These boots are exactly what I had hoped. They're comfortable and now when I wear them, I always get asked where I got them. Concerning the shipping and handling, I was impressed with the turnaround time that it took for me to get the boots. Traditional and cool -
A slightly different take on the classic Harness Boot: A dark brown distressed look with brass hardware. The overall quality is good, though the leather could be a bit thicker.

Love the Boots, Love the service -
I ordered these boots for my husband for his birthday. I got them a half a size too large because in his military boots he wears a half size bigger than normal. I called and exchanged them and recieved the replacement pair a week before the shipping tag to return the to large pair. The customer service people were friendly and helpful overall it was the best shopping experience I've ever had online.

Most excellent boots -
I learned of Zappos from the Army and Airforce Exchange Service online. These boots look and feel great and fit exactly as expected. They look good in everything from jeans to hospital scrubs. When I placed the order I had free standard shipping but received an email the next morning from Zappos giving me free 2nd day shipping. Given this outstanding service and the perfect condition of the merchandise received, I'll definitely buy from Zappo's again. I recommend both Durango and Zappo's to anyone interested.

The boots were a gift for my 23 year old son. He loved them, the fit was true to size and the shipment was fast. This is the second pair of the same boot that I ordered, the first pair was for another 25 year old son who loved them and said the fit was also true to size.
