Hurt the minute I put them on. I love the way these shoes looked on, but the pain across the toes was too much. I don't have a wide foot, but I think even if my foot was more narrow it still would not have hit in the right place.

Bad Surprise -
Online, the sandals looked so wonderful and, I must admit, were quite comfortable as I wear high heels often. Despite being a fan of Stuart Weitzman shoes, I did not like this sandal and returned it. I sent this silver sandal back because a cheesy gray elastic piece, about .50 to .75 of an inch, was used at the inside of the ankle to adjust the fit (it was not adjustable). At least the elastic could have been covered with the same leather from which the shoe is made. I was really surprised that a Stuart Weitzman shoe would have something like this. I think had I ordered the black ones, I would have been able to overlook the elastic, but with silver it was just too obvious.

Hot shoe alert!
I just got these in silver serpent today--they are GORGEOUS!!! I ordered a size 8.5, which I normally wear, and they were just a touch too long in the heel, so I inserted a pad for the ball of the foot and now they are perfect. I have high arches so the strap is a little bit tight, but it's not uncomfortable--just leaves a bit of a mark on my foot when I take them off.

Love this shoe. I ordered a 1/2 size down although I could go true to size as well. I think they are very attractive and comfortable!

Some sandals!
These are a knockout! Beautifully crafted and cleverly designed so that the ankle strap holds your ankle so that there is little tendency to squeeze toes on the single strap. Stable and amazingly comfortable for a shoe with a 4inch+ heel(listed as 3 !/2),I can wear these all day without pain.

The Shoes Of My Dreams!!!
I have been looking for this exact shoe for 3 years. I bought mine at another store in black though not gold or silver. I have had more compliments on these shoes than I have ever had on any one thing in my life.

 |  | Thank you to all of the Customer Service Loyalty Team that helped me this week with the exchange of my Fitzwell Darcy shoes for a smaller size. They arrived today and seem to be a good fit. I really enjoyed the Nightline segment when he spoke about other companies and how it doesn’t matter if their customer service is good or not, because either people don’t have a choice, or there is someone waiting in line right behind them, and these big companies know that, so they aren’t motivated to give excellent service. Which is exactly why Zappos is all the more special in this day and age. I’ve always felt that a positive employee experience is going to create a positive customer experience, and vice versa and clearly they are an excellent living example of this. Good for them. I wish them continued success. Thanks for sharing this.
