I bought these for my husband to wear while teaching and on his feet all day. I never buy him shoes online because of his 3E width, so I was leery. He wore them the day after they arrived and swears that they are the most comfortable shoes that he has ever worn. Thank you!

Fabulous! I am on my feet for at least 7 hours of my 8.5 hour day. My heel pain is beginning to subside, and there was no break-in. Fit perfectly from the get go. I will be buying a couple more pairs to rotate. If you are on your feet all day, get these shoes!

I bought these those for my 85 year old father. From the very first day he wore them, he told me they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever had in his life. At his age, I know that he knows a comfortable shoe when he has one!

Love the shoes. Had to buy men's shoes to have airport-friendly ones (when will the shoe manufacturers realize that women need functional, non-metal shank shoes too!). These aren't quite as comfortable as the Rockports they replaced, but Hush Puppy didn't lie about the shank.

Before purchasing the Hush Puppies I mistakenly ordered a pair of shoes that I thought were "airport friendly". Unfortunately, they weren't and upon wearing them to the airport they rang the security alarm. For my work this is extremely inconvenient. I called Zappos Customer service and was greeted with friendly professional help that solved my problem by exchanging the Rockports for a full refund. This level of customer service is unique in business today. Thanks Zappos!

I bought these shoes for my son who works in the restaurant business. He is constantly on his feet and on the go. When he put these shoes on I could tell in his voice that he was surprised when he said these shoes were comfortable.

Soft uppers with soft sole -
I bought these for business casual. The model of Rockports I was wearing was discontinued. The fit of the 8.5D was appropriate and the insole was removable. I returned them because there is too much flex under the sole. I need a stiffer shoe. The uppers were soft and would not need a lot of break in time.

I purchased these shoes when I was having medical problems with my feet which led to surgery. These shoes were lifesavers. Light, durable, roomy, comfortable. I was so glad I bought them. They are probably the best purchase I made this year.

I spend a lot of time going through the airport routine. I bought these shoes after I discovered that my "airport friendly Rockports" were not really airport friendly. Strategy was advertised as airport friendly, and they are!!! They look good, fit fine, and go through the detectors with no problems. Glad I got them - now to see how long they last!!!!

Ouch - These shoes wore blisters on the back of both heels. Unfortunately I took these shoes on a long business trip – requiring a week of putting on moleskin. My nearly new, expensive, shoes are headed toward the donation drop. I guess I've learned my lesson about really trying the shoe on in the house first.

Hush Puppies Strategy -
I have used Hush Puppies brand for the last 15 years for my work and casual wearing. The Hush Puppies Strategy is so light weight and comfortable. I use to wear Red Wing to work and would have to buy every year. The stitching would come undone after 1 yr. The Hush Puppies brand will last 3-years or longer, wearing every day. The stitching lasts but after three years the soles start wearing down. Priced very reasonable.

This shoe is comfortable and great for business casual wear. Not the softest, nicest leather, but for the price, it is a great commuter shoe. Overall, very pleased as it is one of the few brands to carry extra wide widths.

Not comfortable. Rubs heels and the shoes seem "down at the heel" when I walk. Unfortunately, I discovered this only after a couple of days on the street.

Extremely comfortable. Got the wide width which fit my foot perfectly. I am required to go through a metal detector to get to work so these "Airport Friendly" shoes were perfect for me. Told other co-workers about airport friendly shoes and recommended Zappos. "Thanks"!

Great pair of shoes -
My husband loves them. He has flat wide feet and he found the shoes to be comfortable on the first day - nice and roomy in the toes - and supportive. He was a bit uncertain because they are so lightweight. However, he continues to wear them every day to work (he walks around a lot, but doesn't need to stand all day) with no complaints. He really likes that they are waterproof (good for the current spring season), so easy to clean. I had previously purchased a Rockport Charring (also waterproof) but he found that they dug into his Achilles tendon from the first try because of the design. So this pair was a better fit.

Great shoe. My husband prefers the more casual Glen style, but it is not appropriate for all occasions. The Strategy is a little more formal (as formal as I can get him to wear anyway). This is his first pair in this style. He wore them all week during a company conference and had no problems (and he is very picky about fit).

I have fat feet. Local stores won't carry "EEE" sized shoes. Zappos does. These Hush Puppies are a great value for the money. The fit is great for my fat feet.

Nice and wide!
I have a bunion, so it is impossible to get shoes wide enough. Only Zappos seems to carry the 5E size. They are great. Look like office shoes, but mold to your foot. If they ever had a three-for-the-price-of-two-sale, count me in for three.

These are for a commercial pilot and he loves them. They look like a dress shoe as required and are light and comfortable.
