Amazing -
I was looking for hiking shoes and saw these. I tried them on idly and they felt like they could be a favorite pair that I've owned for ages. They fit my foot perfectly and look great too.

Looks good.
To begin with the shoe was too high on the side so I bought two types of insoles before finding something that works. I purchased shoes from Clarks before and I was very pleased. Even with the insoles they seem a little loose.

I love these shoes!
My wife ordered these as a replacement for other "boat" shoes. From day one = they fit and looked really great!

Very good shoes - extremely soft, comfortable and visually attractive. A little bit on a heavy side - I expected less weight, but still highly recommended.

A Squeaky but Comfortable Shoe -
The Clark Whaler is extremely comfortable, as are all Clark shoes. There is no breaking it in with these shoes. The only downside of the shoe is that both of them squeak when I walk - whether on carpets, hard floors, or outside.

 |  | I just wanted to write in because I have placed many orders in the last couple of months and returned several of the pairs. I am leaving for a trip to Paris in a couple of weeks and I've been searching for the right pair. I've not had much luck, but I wanted to let you guys know that it isn't because I've been unhappy with my shopping experience with Zappos. Quite the opposite actually. Because your customer service and purchasing/returning policy is so great - I just keep coming back. So thank you, for making life easier for those of us who lack the time to run around to the various shoe stores around town. You really make my life easier and give us all one less thing to worry about.
