Nice looking feminine sandal with substance. So much better than a cheap flip flop because of the leather upper and comfortable supportive footbed and long lasting sole. Wear the sandal indoors for a few hours to mold it to your foot and to get comfortable with the leather piece between your toes. Actually, I softened the thong piece with some vaseline so it wouldn't rub. Second pair of Chaco's flips and a staple in my shoe collection!

These pricey sandals come with sculpted soles and built-in arch support. They even make your feet look cuter. The toe post is a bit stiff and I am sure that just as soon as it loosens up, I’ll wear these more.

Love these flips! I wear flips all the time and developed ankle pain. I got these because of the advertised support. They work - no more ankle pain. Just like other reviewers, I found that they stretch out quite a bit as you wear them, so I suggest ordering your regular size and not being alarmed if they feel a little tight when you start to wear them.

My daughter asked for them as a gift as she was planning a trip to Europe and needed COMFY yet "good" sandals. She loves them! Yep, a bit snug at first but break in nicely. I actually bought two pair, one for my daughter, and one for my godchild and they both LOVE them. Go for it! You won't be sorry. :o)

I own several pairs of Chacos, as do my adult children (who turned me on to them!). They are amazingly comfortable and supportive, true to size, good looking, and wear like iron. Great value!

Love these shoes!!
These "flip-flops" are great! They are a little bit "dressier" than regular flip-flops and they are very comfy. I usually wear a size 6.5 in flip-flops, but in these I had to get a size 7.

Slippery, but supportive -
I love the look of these sandals and have received several complements. They have good arch support and a good Chaco sole. The footbed is VERY slippery however and unlike other leather foot beds has only become more so with wearing. Instead of getting a bit more grip to them as they are worn, they almost fly off my feet if they meet any resistance. I will enjoy them, but wouldn't purchase another pair.

These are very comfortable shoes. They run small so be careful about the sizes. I wear a 6 1/2, bought a size 7 and they fit perfectly. I could not have worn anything smaller... at all.

Just perfect! They fit my feet just perfectly. Initially, I wasn't sure whether to keep them but then remembered several comments from others that they needed a bit of breaking in. After just two wears, the "thongs" no longer hurt between my toes. These thongs are cloth, and I'd favor them over rubber thongs any day now! To top it off, unlike rubber and most other flip flops, these Eclipse shoes don't make annoying "flip flop" sounds at all!!!

I was looking for a flip flop with a good arch because my arches hurt me when I am pregnant. The Chaco Eclipse is great. It looks nice and it feels good. It didn't take me hardly any time at all to break it in and I never got any blisters like some of the reviews say. I wear a 7 and ordered a 7 and 8. I ended up keeping the 7. It could be a tad longer in the back, but really fits almost perfectly. The 8 was way too big in the toe area. Anyway - I highly recommend this shoe.

Great supportive flip-flop!
I love the comfort and ease of flip-flops but suffer from heel pain and therefore need to wear supportive shoes. These fit the bill. Great arch support. They do seem to run a bit small--I'm usually a 10 or 11 and made the right choice getting these in 11. They fit with no room to spare!

Nice flip-flop (thong). I have narrow and flat feet and this flip fits extremely well... actually stays on my foot and gives excellent support. I'm going to order a second pair in a different color. When I find a shoe or sandal that fits, I buy multiples! Shipping from Zappos is super fast. I received it in one day with the free shipping! Highly recommend this sandal and Zappos!

I love the look of this flip-flops. Casual, yet a bit more classy than your regular flip-flops, but I returned it because: 1. It was incredibly tight on my feet. The length was true to size, but the width was tight and my feet are by no means wide. They are narrow! 2. The strap between my toes caused some pain, too (maybe because the width wasn't right in the first place), even when I tried it out at home. Imagine if I went for a walk with these shoes, I'll get blisters!

I bought the Chaco "Flip" (1/2 size larger than usual) and LOVED them for their arch support and overall feel. Because my foot was already adjusted to the Flip, it did not take as long for them to get used to the Eclipse. (It took them at least a month to adjust to the Flip - I wore band-aids between my toes for a week and then one on top of my foot for a month). Once they were adjusted - I decided they were the best sandals I have ever purchased. I wear sandals year round (I live for long stints in Africa) and because I need good arch support, I've decided these are the ones for me. The Eclipse definitely doesn't look as casual as the Flip, but they also don't have the grip under your feet like the Flip does. If you're going to use your shoes in a wet area or do some moderate walking/hiking, I would suggest the Flip - but for a sandal with a better look and less need for grip when you walk, the Eclipse is a great sandal.

Basic is best -
This flip flop is a simple, elegant, basic leather flip flop with arch support. Timeless style and unsurpassed comfort make these my go-to every day shoes, year round unless there is snow on the ground. This is my second pair, one black, one brown.

Slippery Feet -
I was looking for a more sophisticated flip-flop that was still casual enough for everyday wear. These really fill the role. They are comfortable (it took about one week to get the sole and the toe thong to soften and they provide great arch support).

Best flip-flop ever -
These are the best sandals ever. I wore mine everyday while on a trip to China, up The Great Wall, through rivers, even mountain climbing! My feet felt great; never any foot or back pain!

The most comfortable flip flop ever -
After these shoes are broke in, they are the best flip flops I have owned. I had tried some on in an outdoor store, so I knew that I needed to order a size bigger. If anyone needs arch support, this is the flip for you.

This is a great thong because it’s comfortable and has a supportive shaped sole. If you are looking for a plain black thong that is supportive but not too sporty try this one.

The most comfortable flip flop ever -
I have extremely high arches and spend most of the summer in ballet flats and flat sandals and they destroy my feet and my posture. These aren't the most attractive, but they are the most supportive and comfortable flip flops I have ever owned. Great arch support.
A little tight at first, be sure to break them in gradually or the straps will rub.

I had looked for this particular sandal and Zappos was the only place I could find it in my size and color. I love the flip flop now, but it took a while to break in. They were tight and gave me blisters. They've stretched a little and I love them and Zappos!!!!

 |  | Zappos rocks, you so made my nine year old son’s day. We went looking for new DC shoes last Sunday and spent 3 hours only to find out that his shoe size was 6.5 right between boy’s and men's. The stores had no selection in either. We were told by one salesperson that most boys skip that size so they don't carry many. He was very disappointed, I suggested ordering from you guys that night and he didn't want to wait for shipping. I told him Zappos was quick, but he wanted to try stores again, so we did on Tuesday evening and came home empty handed again. We got online, ordered a pair he liked (there were so many to chose from in the size we needed) at 9:30 that night. Of course he was all about when would they be here, again I told him how quick you are at shipping and that probably Thursday at the latest Friday. He came home from school on Wednesday and they were on the front porch. He was so happy!!! Loved the shoes and can't wait to order another pair. I have told other people how fast they got here and no one believes that is even possible. I don't know how you do it, but thanks so much. You're the best.
