I was so excited when my boots arrived at my doorstep. Upon trying them on, it was a "big" disappointment. They were really lengthy. I put an insole in and wore a pair of thick stocks and my feet were still lost in those boots. In addition, the side piece of the leather trimming kept scratching the inside my leg. I couldn't return them fast enough. I haven't given up yet. I'm still looking! Boot maker needs to make stylish boots in a size 4.5 and smaller. I generally wear a size 5 and all the different brands of boots that I've tried on are rather large. I'm grateful of Zappos return policy and speedy delivery service. Thumbs up to Zappos!

Luchesse boots - these boots are incredible! They do run at least a half size big so order a smaller size than normal. They are very striking and turn heads whenever I wear them. Super hot!

Perfect cowgirl boot! These boots are wonderful. I tried these, some Ariats, and some Justins, and these ones won out! Here are the pros and cons: Pros: I am 5'2" and wear a size 7 and these boots were the perfect height, just high enough under my knees. I got these in a size 7 and they fit perfectly with thin socks, if I wear thick ones I can't get the boots on. The suede is soft and moves with you. Although they slipped in the heel a little when I first started wearing them, after I broke them in they were fine, no blisters in the heels! They're made in Texas (as opposed to the other two boots I tried, made in China and Mexico). These boots are classic and simple, not ostentatious or trendy, and yet the slim pointy toe box and the nice tall fitted shaft make them very pretty and feminine. Cons: I wore them for two days in a row to break them in, and while they did mold to my foot rather well, my toes are a little wider than average and the boots seem like they will always slightly pinch my toes. Also, on one of my boots, the heel was made uneven with the sole, so when you're standing still you feel a little off balance, like you're rocking a bit. I could have exchanged them for another pair because Zappos is so wonderful about exchanges, but I was too impatient! Thank you to Zappos for having these arrive the very next day after I ordered them!

Runs small.
I ordered my usual size but could not get my feet into these boots very easily, especially with a sock. I would not recommend them if your feet are at all on the wide side (buy Tony Lama's instead). I had to return them.

Suede Cowboy Boots -
These fit quite well. I am a true 5B, and any narrower would have been uncomfortable. The length was maybe a half inch too long, but with a pointy toe, I'd expect that. But they seem to be well made and comfortable and look very cool with jeans!

Beautiful boots! But alas, not for my wide-ish feet.
These are beautiful boots, but as my feet are just a bit on the wide side they just didn't work out. I was sorry to have to send them back! But if your feet are narrow-to-medium they should fit well; I found the length true-to-size.

These rough out tan boots -
I bought these Lucchese boots on sale and once again, they fit beautifully for my narrow to medium foot (with a high instep). A little tight getting over the instep, but after a few wearings I know this will loosen up a bit. There really is nothing like a Lucchese boot. And once again, Zappos has done it for me. I got these in about 2 days and with free shipping! Wow!
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Tony Lama or Justin (they're slightly wider but accommodate a higher instep)

Great Boot!
I loved this boot. I had never ordered Lucchese boots before and was pleasantly surprised with them. They are a true camel color and are true to fit. They are suede in appearance and feel suede as well. They look great with jeans or skirts. Worth the money.

Happy with my boots -
Very comfortable! These are the first "cowboy" boots I've had in a long time. They're heavy, but comfortable. Very happy with my purchase.

Classic! beautifully understated!
Only Luchesse could make such a beautiful boot!
The roughout is a classic look that goes with everything! Nothing cheap or 2nd rate about his boot! Love it so much I can barely stand the thought of starting to wear them out...am a working cowgirl and am brutal on my boots!

"Dang" -- had to return 'm -
Unfortunately, these didn't fit as well as I'd hoped so they had to go back. It is a beautifully crafted, authentic western boot as you'd expect from Lucchese but aside from fit, was a little disappointed in the quality of leather. Lucchese is known for their extraordinary leathers, and this was labeled as a rough-out nubuck, it's really just a heavy suede. Since I ordered these to replace a returned pair of Steve Madden Lonestars that didn't fit either, I realized I need to shop western boots in the stores. I had previously owned several pairs of Dan Post, Frye and Cool West boots with no problem with fit, but my feet have changed over the years.

The Best and Most Comfortable Cowgirl boot I've worn!!!
When I ordeded my boots by mail I thought, "this will never workout." I thought they would be too long in the heel, little arch support, and my toes would be pinched up and there would be no room for my toes at the end of the boot. I also thought that my boot would get extremely dirty and fast, but they did not. These are a classy pair of boots!! They are good enought to go horsebackriding on, taking a trip into town, line dancing, etc, etc. You will not want to be cleaning out stalls of manure, etc with these boots on, even if you have pretreateded them. These boots I would think will last many years and retain their original color and,shape, etc if cared for properly.

First pair of cowboy boots and I love them. Very soft and no need to break them in. I wore them all day traveling and out that night without any problems. I'm looking at Zappos for another pair of Lucchese's!!

Super Everyday Boots!
Wow, these are comfy. Usual Lucchese quality in a great wear-with-everything color and style. Soft leather; no break-in needed. I've never regretted the purchase of Lucchese boots...you just can't go wrong. Lucchese + Zappos customer service = total customer satisfaction. Thanks!

Love these boots!
I love the look, but the color and suede are even better in person. Inner cushioning makes them very comfortable.

Cowboy boot heaven -
I am a cowboy boot fanatic. I can tell you that these boots are very well constucted, fit perfectly and look fabulous. Zappos service and delivery are reason enough to shop with them. I couldn't be more pleased.

Fantastic boot!
Wow! I ditto everything said in the former reviews. This boot is gorgeous, hugs and supports your foot like no other. This is my first pair of Lucchese boots and from here on I will only consider this brand. A note about sizing, I wear a size 6 1/2 street shoe and my feet are a bit wide with a very narrow heel. I ordered a 6 in these and they fit great, although they are a bit narrow (which seems more the look of the boot than the feel)the width works fine.

The Lucchese N4518 fits true to size. I choose the 'rough out' because one of my feet is a bit wider than the other (a problem for some boots. The soft suede had enough 'give' to conform to my foot making the boot very comfortable. I was able to 'break them in'dancing. Amazing boot for fit and beaut...you'll love it. Zappos upgraded delivery. Thank you, Zappos!!

Great Buy!
I love these boots! It has a "slimmer fit" than most western boots, which gives a feminine feel without compromising their authentic style. Very comfortable! I will definately be buying more Lucchese boots in the future!
