I have always had a passion for moccasins and found Minnetonka provided the most comfort and were the longest lasting. Many of the latest catalogs have styles without the Thunderbird, but they somehow don't seem finished without one. I was thrilled to find your online site and the reasonable price and quick delivery were greatly appreciated. I love them. and they have their place with all my others. I wear them as often as possible (keeping them inside only, during our frequent heavy upstate New York snowstorms). I am 72 and your product is a big part of my individual style and has been since High School. I feel they set me apart from less fun loving, young at heart seniors.

These slippers are VERY small--at least 2 sizes smaller than they claim. I usually wear a 15, but I ordered a 16 (so that I would have lots of extra room in case I wanted to wear thick socks with them) but despite getting them a size larger, when I tried them on, they were extremely tight. These size 16s felt like a 14 or smaller. I'm very disappointed, because everything else about them is great; they looked very warm and comfortable.

I love the shoe; but it did fade on my foot. Definitely need a half size larger than you normally wear.

Red toes -
Have these in red, really cute, but had to put a purchased athletic foot bed in them to be able to wear these on gravel (getting too soft in my old age). I have worn these through the dewy grass twice now; the red dye comes off my toes with soap and water, really not made for chasing kittens in morning dew.

Pure Comfort!
I received my moccasins overnight and after a long day I slipped them onto my swollen, tender, diabetic feet... pure comfort! I wore them the rest of the evening. What a joy! It's been years since my feet felt so good! Zappos has superb service... thanks for the speedy, free shipping.

Great shoes!
These are wonderfully comfortable shoes! I bought these for my mom for Mother's Day. She has 3 pairs already but she really wanted them in black also. I own 2 pairs as well. They feel slightly smaller than marked, but they WILL stretch out. Overall, mom & I love these shoes

Great Moccasin!!
I received my light blue moccasins today and they are very cute and comfortable! I love the beaded thunderbird on the top. However, after reading several reviews on this site I decided to order my shoes a half size bigger. My shoes fit perfect when they came...but had I ordered in my true size and not bigger I would have had to send them back! The moccasins are so cute now my two kids want a pair too! Oh...Zappos has super fast shipping too...only 3 days to get them!

Awww how cute!
ADORABLE!! They have a different kind of feeling to them when your walking... kind of like a raised sole I guess?! I got the black in size 8, they’re a little bit big but, not slipping off my feet when I walk, I'd recommend getting a 1/2 size smaller. <3 THEM!!

Minnetonka's Thunderbird-
This is my 2nd pair. My first pair has been very comfortable and held up well. They do run 1 size smaller, so if you wear a size 8, buy a size 9.

Great purple color!
I own these in new purple. They are fabulous and so much fun! Not only that, they are also very very comfortable. When I'm walking around at the mall or on my college campus, I know my feet won't hurt. Lots of compliments for color! Great shoes!

My first pair is 25 years old !
Passed on from my sister who was tired of them-I never have. For the past 5 years or so, I've saved my pink moccasins for special occasions, because I didn't think I'd ever be able to replace them. These are the best shoes ever-comfortable and I have received more compliments on the pink!

Like wearing your bedroom slippers, this is a truly comfortable shoe. As long as you aren't looking for arch support, you'll love this shoe. I wore them 30 years ago and they feel just as good on my tired old feet as they did on my young feet.

Minnetonka Thunderbird -
I have always worn Minnetonkas. I haven't been able to find them in the area where I live. I have been ordering a brand similar to them but when I saw that Zappos had Minnetonkas I had to order some. My old Mocs used to stretch out so much that I always had to order a size smaller, but I don't think that will happen to these. This is the first time I have ordered from Zappos and was very happy with the excellent service I received from them.

Caught Red-Footed!
I like the old-school look of the Thunderbird (though my husband thinks they look like slippers)and you can't beat them for comfort (they, in fact, feel like slippers). My only complaint is that I have them in red and after wearing them without socks they turn the soles of my feet and toes bright red. Kind of creepy, but I'm hoping that after a couple weeks the extra dye will wear off and this shouldn't be a problem.

I love these shoes!
I have had comments on how cute these shoes are everytime I wear them. If you remember Annie Oakley, Pocahantas, etc. (in other words, if you're a child of the 50s and 60s) then you will love this shoe! However, my daughter is in her 30s and she says they look "lame', whatever that is supposed to mean. But I think her opinion is overridden by all the people (of all ages) who have gone gaga over my cute moccasions.
They are very comfortable after you wear them a couple of times. They're a bit narrow but will definitely stretch to fit.

I loved the look way back in time, and I love it today. Very comfortable, a cross between a slipper and a shoe and my feet love it. Not for long distances at least not for my feet. Lets not talk abut my feet. They stretch with time to form to your feet. The black suede is cool, matches just about everything. Quality leather, what more can I say?

Purchased and received them within 24 hours. Great Job! Shoes were everything I had expected. Totally great fit in both size and width. I had worn these same shoes over thirty years ago and came back for them again.My feet and I just love the comfort and good looks and nothing has changed over the years.

 |  | Dear Zappos, Okay, help me understand something. I place an on-line order last evening at about 8:00. I screw up how to use my store credit and can’t figure out how to fix it. I resort to calling your toll free number to fix my stupid mistake and expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes. Wow is all I can say! A real live person answers the phone in two rings after I debated with myself whether or not to press the option for joke of the day. He corrects my problem and even makes the decision to not charge my credit card for the less than $2 difference between my store credit and the amount due for the running shoes I ordered. On top of this, the shoes were sitting on my doorstep tonight after I came home from work. I even wore them for my evening workout. How dare you do this in less than 20 hours after my mistake! You just set the customer service pole vault bar at 37 feet in my book! Terrific, terrific service. Thank you very much! I now consider myself a customer for life. You all will have to work very hard to make me buy a pair of shoes from another company. I’m new to Zappos and you can bet I will be looking to Zappos for other purchases! Many thanks... my next order will be tomorrow evening so I can surprise my wife with a new pair of Berks she wants, but actually needs... it isn’t always good to want things!
