This is a great, comfortable shoe. I have sort of a wide foot with a high instep, and the shoe fits well. The stretch is nice, and they don't fly off my feet. They look good with work pants. I love David Tate shoes.

I'd used a couple other websites for shoe shopping. Had forgotten about Zappos great customer service. Not only do I love the shoes, but I received them the day after I ordered them! Planning to buy them in another color if they are available..

These slides are so comfortable and the heel height is just right too. I have very narrow feet and they stay on. The fit is just right. They look really pretty too.

These shoes are very, very comfortable. The height is just right and one should be able to wear them from morning to night without any problem. I liked them so much I ordered another pair.

I love David Tate because he makes his shoes small! I normally wear a 4 1/2, but had to order a 5 and they fit perfectly. So you definitely want to keep that in mind. \r\n\r\nI have two pair and they are comfortable and go with everything.

I wore this shoe for about a year and a half, mostly in the fall-winter. I love David Tate shoes, and like his others, this one is comfy, comfy, comfy without compromising on style. My only complaint is that after about a year of wearing it, the heel of the shoe started to bother the heel of my foot, almost as though the padding had worn down. The pain got to be too much to handle so I had to toss the shoes, but after a year and a half (including PA winters!) with them, I was impressed.

David Tate's Samantha is so comfortable. I didn't wait a day before purchasing a second pair! I have lymph edema and was dreading "elegant night" on the cruise we had planned. I didn't want to wear "man shoes" and feel under dressed. Discovering this feminine but accommodating shoe, with good foot coverage and sculpted heel. Enabled me to wear elegant slacks and dress up more than I have in years!

Perfect shoe! I had been searching without success for a black, low heel, comfortable shoe that I could wear with pants for dress or business casual. I ordered this pair without having great expectations before going away on a trip. My width, medium, was not available so I ordered the narrow, hoping that the fabric would stretch and fit decently. What a surprise! Great fit, comfortable, versatile, I couldn’t ask for more. I wore these shoes right out of the box with no break in time. Thank you Zappos! I had never heard of this brand before but they are terrific.

Zappos is one of the best companies to do business with! I love the free shipping and quick delivery. These shoes are just as comfortable as they look. I wore mine right out of the box for an entire day, and I felt as though I had on bedroom slippers. They fit perfectly. The stretchy part on the top really conforms to your foot, and makes the fit feel secure. They do not stretch out, and they felt as good the second time I wore them (walked all over NYC in them!). They are great with jeans or slacks. I want to order them in the other color, too, and will do so as soon as they come in again!

LOVE these shoes. I got them first in size 9, width E and they seemed a little long. Through the miracle that is Zappos, I exchanged them for size 8.5 width EE and they are PERFECT. I wear them to work all the time. The heel is low enough to be perfectly comfortable and yet there's enough heel to look neat and professional. They look especially good with pants but I wear them with skirts too and did I say I love them?

Comfort, comfort, comfort!!! That describes this pair of shoes perfectly. I am very happy with them. My size is 5.5W and that is a very, very difficult size, but this pair is perfect. I admit they are a half size bigger than marked and a little bit narrower, but the fabric accommodates my feet very well.

Every David Tate shoe I own works right out of the box, and this is no exception. VERY comfy!! Plus it's pretty and classy. If Zappos had it in other colors in my size I'd order them right away.

I bought the shoe in a wide and the wide is very nicely wide -- unfortunately, it now feels too long. I'd like to see if the wide in a half size smaller fits better.

Very comfortable east shoe -
I now own a second pair of these workhorse shoes. I have a 9 1/2 wide foot and this shoe has a very "foot minimizing" look. It is extremely comfortable and can be worn out of the box all day. Goes with everything. Not the queen of style but still, a great shoe that fits everyday needs with jeans or pants.

Great shoe!
Comfortable, great w/pants particularly when entertaining at home and mobility and safety are important. No one wants to crash carrying a platter of food.

This is a very comfortable pant shoe and this was a replacement purchase to replace a pair bought 2-3 years ago that is wearing.

Uber Comfortable!
I've had these for years and needed a new pair. I use them with evening pants when cruising and they are "just high enough." Very comfortable, even in rough seas. :-) You'll love them!

I wore these shoes for three days while I was a facilitator for a workshop. I was on my feet most of the day all 3 days and these shoes were comfortable every step of the way! I have never had a pair of dressier shoes that were this comfortable for this long! I have an extra-wide foot and these were great. I will buy more David Tate shoes!

I wear size 8 wide, so was excited to find this cute mule in beige. Then length of the shoe was a perfect fit. However, the shoe is too wide and my calves were killing me by the end of the first day... trying to keep them on my feet. Unfortunately, I wore them outside so cannot return them.

I absolutely love my black stretch David Tate Samantha style shoes. I now own 4 pair. One in bone color and three in black. They slip right on and feel soooo... comfortable. I wear them with or without stockings depending on the time of year. I love the stylish heel and shoe shape. They work perfectly as both a casual shoe and dress shoe. I have received numerous compliments on their style and look while wearing them. I only wish I was able to get more in my size but they never seem to be available. The wear of this shoe is excellent. I wear them almost every day and as long as they are available, I can see myself wearing this shoe for a long time. I LOVE IT!!!! PLEASE contact me when you have any more black size 4 or 4.5 available.
