I bought these to wear on a trip to Italy when I needed a dressier shoe but had to walk on those cobbled streets. They are very comfortable, fit my foot well and look nice with skirts, leggings and pants. Well worth the money. Also they are well made.

This is a pretty shoe, but the vinyl lining doesn't give or breathe at all. I ended up with blisters on both feet! I wish I could return them, but I have worn them!

Well, not what I'd hoped for -
I like David Tate shoes, which are generally well made and more comfortable right out of the box than most. These are true to size, fit well, and the heel is a comfy height, but the entire interior of the shoe (which is a pretty gold color that doesn't come through well on my monitor) is lined in something plastic-y and sticky. I suppose this is so they won't fly off your feet when you wear them barefoot, but I found it unpleasant. Also the toe box wrinkles when I walk, which also was a surprise...

I own these shoes in the black and brown color. I am on my feet all day, and these shoes have been nothing but comfortable for me! They are so versatile -- I can wear them with pants, skirts, or to dress up jeans. They have held up well but, like another review says, the black seems to scuff easily. However, I would have no problem ordering another pair to replace the scuffed ones because they are worth it! I wear a size 13 shoe and these actually SLIM my foot without giving me more height!

This is my second pair -
I bought these exact shoes 2 years ago and am replacing, only because they've gotten scuffed and it's difficult to polish the black area without getting into the white stitching. Very comfortable and nice looking too. My go-to shoe for jeans. Glad to have found a low heel shoe to act as "flats," because flats are just too flat for me. Am glad to have been able to find a nice looking shoe in wide too.

Great fit and good sizing. I have problem feet and these are extremely comfortable without looking "old lady-ish"

Very uncomfortable shoe -
Although this slide shoe looked very comfortable in the photo, and although most slide shoes are quite comfortable, I must say that this one is probably one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on in my life!! I couldn't believe it. I walked around my house wearing them for about an hour trying to break them in, which was torture, and finally realized there was no hope. They were true to size and width, but were very, very hard, with absolutely no give.

The shoe is extremely comfortable; put it on and wore it to work all day. This is my first time ordering and the service from Zappos was wonderful. I placed the order on Sat. before Labor Day and the shoes arrived on Tuesday.

My second pair of David Tate shoes. This one has a narrow toe and since your foot doesn't slide all the way forward like a round toe, I exchanged it for a 1/2 size larger and it is perfect. This is a slide that doesn't look frumpy. Very stylish. I'm a 10N and have searched everywhere in stores for shoes. When I tell the salesclerks my size they usually just shake their heads no. Zappos to the rescue!! I took a tip from my daughter who told me to order several different style/brands from Zappos. I did and of the probably nine pair I ordered I had to exchange two and I ended up with six pair. I couldn't be happier. The free shipping and return is what convinced me to shop Zappos and quit running from town to town wasting gas and time looking for narrow shoes.

Like a slipper -
This shoe is very comfortable, feels like I'm wearing a slipper. Unfortunately it also looks like a slipper, but for days at the office, I don't mind sacrificing style for comfort. On the review of others, I ordered a half size larger which worked well.

I was pleased to see how stylish the shoes look. Pictures can be deceiving! And they are super comfortable. I have problems with my feet and require super soft leather. These shoes are perfect!

This shoe is very comfortable. By having a very wide foot and a high instep the split at the top of the shoe looks as if it is pinching your foot.
Therefore it does not look great, but it feels fine. But it fits true to size. I actually wear a 6 1/2 EEE, but I cannot find a stylish shoe in that size. Therefore, I usually buy 7, 7 1/2 EE.

The shoe is beautiful; however, it is a little difficult to keep on my foot ~ but then that just may be my foot! I can't say enough about Zappos.com's OUTSTANDING service ~ why would you shop anywhere else?!

Smart Looking -
This is my 5th David Tate Shoe and each one I purchase is better than the other. The fit and comfort are unbelievable. I bought this for work, usually I wear flat shoes but want a little hell for height. I also have a wide foot and high arch so a lot of styles don't fit me. The David Tate line is a true wide width. Other brands they say wide but are still narrow. Also the leather on David Tate shoes are all soft, the lining is nice and the minute you put them on it feels as if you owned them for a while they are so comfortable.

Ordering through Zappos -
I have an exceptionally narrow foot and fortunately have found several of my size at Zappos. They carry top brand shoes, as well offer ease in ordering and very fast delivery. Most department stores do not carry my size and I'm thankful Zappos carries such a wide variety of styles.

Finally a narrow shoe that really fits!

Great comfort but runs small!
I ordered this shoe to go with a beautiful new outfit my husband got me for Christmas. I typically wear a 4M. When the shoe came I could not believe my foot was hanging over the back. I sent that size back and ordered the 41/2; it fits great. And the shoe is gorgeous; it is perfect with my new knit suit. The first day I wore the shoe I wore them all day at the mall.

Love these shoes appearance -
Overall: The shoe looks very classy.
Comfort: The shoe up near the top of the toes tends to rub a bit. I’m hoping it will stretch after wearing it a while. Other than that it fits well.
Look:I bought the shoe cause of its appearance. Actually I bought it in two colors. Cause I loved the way it looked. It looks like u are wearing a boot without that cumbersome feeling around your calf.
