I bought these shoes for my mother and she loves them. This is her 2nd pair. The 1st pair are blue and she loves that pair, too.

When I saw my friend in these shoes, I asked about them. She told me they were diabetic shoes but they were comfortable.\r\n\r\nThen I noticed she had one in every color. So I started playing with the sizes. I love the way they look (I\'m a keen fan too)\r\n\r\nMy size 9 felt too large so I read more reviews on Zappos and ended up with an 8.5. They felt small until I discovered they had two layers that could be removed. I removed one layer (of the bottom of the shoe and wa la), a perfect fit.\r\n\r\nAs I had an boo boo on my toe I had to wait to wear them, but when I put them on it was as if I was not wearing shoes. they were so comfortable. I wore them all day. I want another pair.

My search is over for a comfortable and cute shoe for an extended European trip! I usually wear a 9W, but needed 8.5W in the Drew. The 8.5W fit well in all the Drew styles I tried. These look clunky off the foot and in the pictures. When you get it on your foot, it looks slimmer. I like how they look with pants, skirts, and longer capris. These were comfortable immediately out of the box. Thanks to Zappos for their great service and free return. I was able to order and return until I found the perfect shoe.

These shoes are so comfortable. They have a larger toe box then most dress shoes and since I do have larger feet and kinda hard to fit, these really work well. I read a previous review that said they run a little large which was perfect for me. I usually wear an 11 1/2 or 12 so I got a size 11. Good fit. Also, I have a high instep and the strap is long enough to go over my foot without binding. I wear them with slacks, both casual and dressy - but would not wear them with a dress or skirt.

I love them!
These are the most comfortable shoes! It just took 2 tries to get the right size. I did go smaller initially based on the reviews I read, but it wasn't small enough. Ended up a size and a half smaller. Got a pair for my daughter who works at a bank and is on her feet all day. She's pregnant also, so they will work for quite awhile for her with the adjustable strap!

This is probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever bought. I was able to wear them immediately upon receipt. I have very wide feet and this shoe was very accommodating. The only thing I would change is I wish Drew made their straps across the instep a little longer as I have a high instep and cannot cover all of the velcro and if I cross my feet the velcro picks my hose. This shoe looks better with slacks than dresses but is nice enough to wear on any occasion that slacks could be worn.

I wasn't sure that I wanted an orthopedic looking shoe, but I definitely needed one. I tried a zillion different shoes before decided to buy this one. I love Zappos service! I have been wearing this, daily, and LOVE them. They don't look too goofy as I wear them with pants and jeans, my normal garb, and find that chasing my two small sons, walking around everywhere, and generally living my busy life, they are fantastic!

The shoes are very comfortable, but I did have to reorder because they ran very large. I wear orthotics and these shoes work well with them.

Cinderellas slipper -
With wide feet, you try on 20 pairs of shoes at the store before finding something you have to settle for. This shoe meets the need I have of addressing the issue of ankle swelling as the strap allows for adjustment. The shoe is very comfortable and supportive too. Yahoo for Zappos!

Comfort at last.
I have a problem with shoes; have always worn New Balance tennies. I have MS affecting my right side, and also have lymphedema on my right side. My shoe size is still growing, wear about 11-11 1/2 on right foot and 10 on left foot. We are going on tour in Germany, and I wanted a comfortable shoe that didn't really look awkward. I am a large person, and some of those cute shoes look ridiculous on me. I got these shoes and wore them the first time to a wedding reception/dance. I danced for about 1 1/2 hours total. Except for the swelling, which does cause some pain, my feet felt great. The second time I wore them, I went shopping the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday) and left home at 4 AM and returned home at 8 PM. My feet didn't hurt. I have worn them since, and can't complain. I took one insole out of the right, and so far that's the only modification I made. May add one to the left shoe at some point. The velcro helps with the width, so I can loosen them if need be. They will adapt for me as dress shoes, or blue jean shoes, as that will be the extent of 98% of our days!! Definitely a good shoe. My first purchase will lead to more, and I also did purchase some socks, and those were great too.

These shoes are great! I bought these for my 10 year old daughter - initially for her "80’s Diva" Halloween costume. She loves them so much they are worn every other day. The colors are as vibrant as they appear in the photo. Her fit was spot on. They still look newish. I consider them to be of good quality.

I have been wearing these shoes everyday since I received them. I am so comfortable in them. I did place an orthotic in them, but there is plenty of room. I removed one of the insoles, and one remains plus the orthotic and I am so comfy I want to walk much more than before. I find I wear these all day, even in my home. I find the heel to be just a little loose.

Like walking on a cloud. I'm very happy with my Drew Desiree shoes. After many years of wearing sandals because anything else rubbed me the wrong way, it is a pleasure to have shoes that feel so comfy and make my feet smile with every step. I have hammer toes on one foot and am very reluctant to undergo surgery. These shoes make it possible for me to look fashionable and feel totally comfortable. When I got the sizing right, I was totally in love with my new shoes.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe where we did a lot of walking. They were the only shoes I brought and they looked good with dress pants as well as jeans. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned other than athletic shoes.

This shoe was very comfortable, but I am returning it because I could use a regular width instead of wide. It also was not as dressy for I needed them for a wedding. Otherwise, they felt great.

Very comfortable with plenty of room for wide feet.
I needed a good walking shoe that doesn't look clunky and this is it. I usually take a 10W, but the 10 was much too big all around. 9 1/2 fit well, even with my big orthotics. The adjustable strap compensates for a bit of sloppiness in the heel. The two-tone black and brown looks good with jeans.

Excellent Shoe!
I have a wide foot and am recovering from bunion surgery. I needed a comfortable, flat shoe that wouldn't look like an orthopedic clunker. This shoe is truly the most comfortable shoe I've ever had--as comfortable as a good fitting athletic shoe. It is also very cute and I will wear it even after I have fully recovered, although I won't wear it with everything like I have to now. Naturally, it looks better with a particular type of clothing. But I love the shoe!

It's a stylish shoe which is very hard to find in wide widths. It could use some padding on the heel back, but that’s not a big problem. I like the shoes very much.

I walk on concrete floors 8 -10 hrs daily at work and these shoes are SO comfortable. I have worn shoes that have been too narrow for my feet for so long, it was a blessing when I found ZAPPOS. I tell everyone about this shoe store, thanx for being there. I have different shoes, ALL are comfy, plus free overnight shipping, bonus, this is a "shoe girls" dream.

These shoes look better than I anticipated. I need to find an insert to give more arch support in them though. Also the top strap bothers my right foot if I tighten it down enough to keep it from feeling too loose. If you have painful hard to fit feet these might work for you. They feel better than most other shoes I've tried after being in them all day. These were my first pair of Drew shoes. I will probably try some of their other styles in the future. Sturdy and well made.

Just what I wanted -
It took a full day of walking on carpet to determine that the difference in fit was just what I wanted in a comfortable walking shoe. I've received quite a few comments on its unique appearance and questions about where to purchase the shoes.

Have problem feet, and need custom orthotics in my shoes. This rules 99% of shoes out. At 55, not ready for the "nursing home" look yet. While these shoes are not the style I would like to wear, I was able to wear them standing for about six hours the first time pain free, and they were not bad looking either. If you have problem feet and must have a well-constructed shoe with some style, I would recommend these.

Have you ever said, "I will never find a shoe that fits?" Look no more: this is it. I have a wide midfoot and am narrow in the heel, and this shoe fits like it was made for me. I also have neuropathy from MS, complicated by diabetes, so my feet hurt all the time. I don't like wearing snug shoes, but the wooly slippers I wear to keep my feet warm just aren't supportive enough. Drew shoes run a half size larger (if you wear a 9, order 8.5), and the width is generous. Very impressed with this shoe. And the overnight delivery Zappos offers is unbeatable, as is their customer service. I won't hesitate to order from them again.
