I bought these for my wife who had foot and toe surgery 20 yrs ago. She has had great difficulty finding comfortable toe out shoes since then. This order is to replace the same shoes (Rieker Annett) that she's been wearing almost exclusively for the past 5 years when the old ones wear out. So far she uses them for walking, gardening (getting wet on a regular basis), dress up and casual. She says they are the best shoes she's ever had. In fact we've bought 2 orders of the same shoe from you; she wants to make sure she has them for a very long time. Thanks. You carry a very good quality, attractive and comfortable shoe.

These Roman sandals are really beautiful. When I opened the box and held up the shoe, my first remark was, "Wow, these are beautiful". The dark brown leather and workmanship is perfect. I purchased a size 9.5 because the shoes are heavy. However, the sole is thick enough for the cobbled streets of Europe, and I felt I could wear them all day. When traveling I would wear these and pack a lighter weight shoe. The tie is perfect and allowed my feet more room as the day and the tour got longer! I feel I could have purchased a size nine, but I kept these as I didn't want to be bothered with an exchange. When I look down at my wide foot at the end of the day, the size is fine!

My feet have issues -\r\n\r\nand they love my Reikers! These shoes have good support, lace ups allow for more control and I think they look fabulous! I bought them and was able to walk all day without any break-in time. I usually wear a size 8.5 or 39. Reiker lists the size correctly - a 40 is an 8.5.

I had a pair of black Rieker sandals that I wore for years (maybe 6) until the sole was worn away. (The leather tops still look great.) I\'d been trying to find a replacement and finallhy saw these - similar to my old ones but even better looking. Incredibly comfortable, and will fit even people like me with a high instep, because the fit is adjustable. Rieker shoes are very well made and wear well.

Reasonably attractive sandal for pants, capris, or skirts. Very comfortable right out of the box, great for walking or standing for long periods of time. Perhaps not as cute as some sandals, but for the traveler or mature woman (I am 56), a perfect shoe.

These Rieker sandals are extremely comfortable. No break in period. The laces adjust the fit, so on those warm days when my feet swell a bit - I just loosen the laces. Go for it.

I love this shoe. I got the 36 and my foot is a 6. It fits great and is so comfortable. We are leaving for Europe in a couple of days and this shoe will be great. No break-in time needed.

Perfect Traveling Shoes!
Ordered these shoes in black for a trip to Europe. No break in time and perfectly comfortable right out of the box. I took three other pairs of shoes for the trip and have ended up wearing these every day. They're nice enough looking to walk into the lobby of a fancy hotel or nice restaurant after a day of sightseeing, and comfortable enough to wear for miles of walking though the streets of Venice or light hiking. Great buy!!

They are the most comfortable shoe. I bought them in three colors. I love the brand and the service is great. I received them the next day!! It doesn't get any better than that, I would recommend them to everyone, and the Reiker brand is awesome.

I purchased this style (also Rieker) some years ago in black and was very pleased with it. This one seems to have been made by a different manufacturer, several differences and less quality construction. However, the shoe is comfortable and looks very nice.

My previously owned pair of Rieker sandals were my very favorite sandals ever! I saw these and loved the color and knew they would be comfortable. My order arrived the very next day – wow! They have been comfortable from the very beginning, as I thought they would. I love the mahogany color as I can wear it with many of my clothes. I will definitely order from you again.

Love this shoe!
This is probably my fifth pair of Rieker shoes, and I love the style they bring to the table. They are also comfortable - a big plus. I have worn them standing up at work all day and for a sandal, they preformed beautifully.

Got these shoes today. I couldn't decide if they were cute or old fashion looking. The length was true to size (I wear an 8.5 and ordered the 8.5-9), width good, footbed soft but little arch support. The back heel strap is not adjustable and way too loose. The leather across the top of foot rubbed and felt like cheaper hard leather. So will be returning the 2nd pair of Riekers but this is a different style. Love the running shoes though. Zappos is the best shoe company ever!! Thanks so much.

After ordering and returning 12 pair of shoes, I got the right one. Only Zappos would be this cooperative. I love Zappos and these shoes, I can tighten if need be and loosen if necessary. Fit my feet well, have good arch support, look great on my feet. Thank you Rieker and Zappos!

Great looking shoe, no arch support -
Love the idea that this shoe can be tied. Depending on time of day, shoe could be re-tied to fit swelling feet, but no arch support.

Great Look Better Comfort -
Just like any other Rieker it is just as comfortable as you would expect it to be. I also love that it is adjustable with the tie up lace so that if your feet happen to swell a little during the summer months you could loosen them a little. They are cute and stylish to go with everything from jeans to skirts. Very happy with this purchase, only wish they came in an assortment of colors.

I am very picky about my shoes (they must be comfortable and cute)and have wide feet. The first day I wore them, I thought that they were alright as far as comfort went, but after the first day, they "molded" to my foot and were quite comfortable. I wore them almost every day on a two week walking trip in France and didn't have any problems at all. The laces are great b/c you can tighten them as needed.

Awesome Rieker sandals!
I stumbled upon a pair of brown Riekers "Roman look" sandals in 2006. They were called walkers and they were comfortable, so when I found the same shoe in black, I knew I needed them! Zappos had them here so fast, I couldn't believe it. These shoes are comfortable walkers, too. They're quite adjustable because of the laces.

I tried this shoe on in a retail store. They did not have my size. The leather was much softer and more supple and had a sheen to it that this shoe does not. It feels like a 2nd.

I'm wearing these shoes as I type. They are so wonderful, I ordered them in brown, too. Comfort is my top priority due to arthritis across both insteps. These fit the bill. They are of superb quality and very attractive worn with everything from jeans, cropped pants, and skirts. They have become my favorite summer sandals in a very short time. Hooray for Zappos!
