I bought these for my husband after I\'d bought a pair for myself. He agrees that these are the most comfortable shoes he\'s ever worn to work. He is on his feet all day, standing on the cold concrete in an automotive shop, and his feet no longer hurt when he gets home from work. As always, Zappos again thrilled us with their stellar customer service and lightning fast shipping. Zappos rocks!

Too narrow to be comfortable. I had to return the shoe as soon as I tried it. The EE model felt much narrower than the other EE New Balance shoes that I have owned. It looked nice enough, but was unfortunately too uncomfortable. Not recommended for people with wide feet.

I needed shows that I could stand in for hours as I work at a movie theatre. These shoes made a big difference. I\'m so glad I bought this pair. The description was accurate as I needed very comfortable and supportive shoes.

Let me start by saying I have been through 4 pairs of these shoes in 3 years. I am a mechanic and stand on them for ten hours a day; I believe they hold up very well for the conditions I put them in. I was very discouraged with first pair I bought (the non slip part) but then after the about a month the bottoms wore in and the anti slip started working (VERY WELL). I am here to say that these shoes don’t slip at all after a couple of months. Even on a painted floor with transmission fluid spilled. As for comfort its ok, I have worn better but the nonslip safety factor outweighs the comfort issue.

My husband was relieved that I finally bought shoes wide enough for him.They were the right fit. He has not been grumpy because his feet hurt at end of day. These are great shoes for comfort and safety, since he works around kitchen oil spills. I don't worry so much that he'll slip and fall.

I like these shoes for work because they are non slip...I wish they had a little more cushion in the arch area...being on your feet all day takes a toll on your feet and if these had just a little more cushion, I would be happier.

Walking shoes for the office...
I started wearing New Balance in to the office when they began to minimize the look of a running shoe on some models. I like the comfort and the ability to wear the shoe with a coat and tie. It sure beats a dress shoe.

Well, I love New balances, but I have to say the comfort of this shoe is limited. I think it needs more arch support. I work 9 to 10 hour days and it’s just not a full day shoe. The slip resistant works… ok, but I do still slide around a little. So I would say it works, but It needs improvement.

This shoe was a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear, so if you are interested in this shoe I highly recommend that you go a half size larger. They are a little narrow also, so that is something to consider.

I got these shoes for Christmas and fell in love with them. They are very comfy but, I have one issue. I order my normal size 7 standard width and I'm on my feet all day and they formed blisters on my pinky toes. I've only worn them for 3 weeks and they are broken in I hate to stop wearing them but I can't take it anymore. I'm actually thinking about re-ordering these shoes for a bigger width to see how those feel.

A danged good shoe -
Couldn't be happier with this shoe. Comfortable, tough, and -- to my surprise -- has a sole that doesn't conduct the cold while standing or walking on ice. An odd quality to appreciate in a shoe, I know -- but I live in the NE, where global warming is a figment of Al Gore's imagination, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. A great shoe.

I'm a Postman and walk on average 5 plus miles per day delivering mail and these sneakers are a great companion. Make sure to buy these 1/2 a size bigger and wider... they fit a little snug otherwise.

No way to breathe -
All leather but with no mesh or pin holes to allow your foot to breathe, you're going to get athlete's foot due to perspiration that stays there. However, I still prefer New Balance to all other brands.

New Balance Hits the Mark -
Since my shoes arrived I have worn them everyday and have been quite satisfied with them. Looks, style are good, not excellent. Comfort is my chief concern and here they fill the bill quite nicely. I'm actually pretty tough on them as I've been wearing them as a work shoe and I'm on my feet all day long on concrete floors. Even under this treatment they are a pretty good shoe.

They weren't very comfortable at first but the more I wore them the better they felt. I work in a restaurant so the floors are quite wet haven't slipped and fell yet so they seem to be up to the task.

This is a good shoe, but I would not say great because they could be a little bit more slip resistant. They are easy to clean and pretty comfortable though. I would recommend them to other people.
