I bought these shoes for ball room dance class upon the instructor\'s recommendation. I have wide feet and these shoes only come in medium, but the fit was good. I always wear backless shoes because shoes with backs bother my heels, I did not get blisters from these shoes. They are very comfortable and if I wasn\'t afraid I\'d ruin the soles, I\'d wear them for dress anytime, but I will reserve them for dancing.

Didn't Like It -
I was looking for a stylish, but comfortable shoe to salsa in. The look of this faux leather shoe is cheap. The stitching is poor and uneven. The little flap of stitched material at the top of the back of the shoe makes the shoe look poorly constructed and it rubs on the back of your foot. I ordered my regular size which squeezed my toes too much and one size up which was too long. It was very uncomfortable to wear the shoe as it was not soft against your foot.

Fabulous Shoe!
I needed a shoe for a jitterbug dance class and this shoe is perfect. The fit was amazingly comfortable from the very beginning and the sole was wonderful for allowing movement on the dance floor. I have also gotten many compliments on how stylish they look.

Great dancing shoe -
These shoes are very comfortable to dance in, with a little extra cushion in the ball area. They have a hard bottom so you can safely wear them to and from your car without hurting your feet or the shoe. I didn't even need to break them in.

Great shoe...comfortable!
I bought this shoe for my daughter to wear in her school musical. She loves them and wears them all the time--very comfortable to dance in, the heel is a good height and yet extremely manageable on stage. I thought they were very affordable.

I was surprised at how comfortable these shoes were and they fit! It is very hard to find size 4. They are made well and very affordable.

I was online looking for a shoe to dance in that would let me slide some. This shoe was great! Not only comfortable but would slide on the dance floor just enough. I have a narrow foot so I wish I had ordered the narrower size but the shoe is so comfortable that I wear them not only to dance in. The shoe looks good and so comfortable.

Great Fit and Style -
I searched all over for a comfortable shoe to wear on a cruise this New Year's. It will be a ballroom dance cruise and I needed something pretty, yet comfortable. I found the Leo NY T-Strap to fit perfectly in my true size. I have worn them around the house and won't do the true test of dancing for another few weeks, but so far the price and the fit plus the look are wonderful... Love shopping at Zappos.

Great Dance Shoe -
This shoe is an excellent choice for women who are narrow in the heel area, but medium to wide at the front of the foot area. However, I would recommend ordering a half size larger than you normally take. The shoe is very pretty. I originally ordered one pair in the tan color to take dance lessons with, but when I discovered that they actually fit my problem feet and look good at the same time, I ordered another pair of tan and a pair of black. I plan on getting heel and toe devices put on the soles of at least one pair to make them more durable for street wear. My only complaint is that they do not have leathers uppers, but you can't have everything.

Great Shoes!
I held off on commenting on these shoes until I had worn them out dancing. Now I feel I can give a proper review. They are comfortable, stylish, and I love them. A great addition to any wardrobe and they don't make your feet look big!!!

Comfy so far -
I sing in a choral group and bought these shoes for concerts so comfort while standing still was paramount. They had the most cushioning in the forefoot than the Capezio’s I tried and did the best when I stood in them for 30 minutes at home. Heel height is good for concerts, too - not too tall but tall enough to look good. Leather not as soft as the Capezio’s and I have some gapping around the edges but since comfort is the most important factor I like these shoes. Will see how they do when I wear them for the June concert!

Room for my toes!!
I have always passed over Leo's shoes because they always struck me as being of a lower quality, mainly because of the lower price. Then my black Capezio characters broke down (after 8 years) two days before the opera I was in opened. Throughout rehearsal (there was a lot of waltzing) my toes felt smushed and my bunions were killing me by the end of the night, so when I tried these at a local dance shop because I was on a budget, I was surprised at how comfortable and well made the shoes were. My bunions didn't bother me as much by the end of the night, and with a heel pad, my back felt better too. I got these a 1/2 size larger than my street shoe to allow for the heel pad. I have narrow feet, so the "t" part of the strap is a bit too long, but it still fits securely though it "bunches up" a bit on me. It's purely cosmetic. For those who complain of slippery floors, I ALWAYS with EVERY character shoe put adhesive rubber sole covers on the bottoms. For those that complain of the nails in the heel (which is much wider and more stable than the Capezio’s I've seen) take the shoes to a shoe repair and have them apply rubber tips to the bottom. Characters are left unfinished on the bottom to allow for taps if need be. Bottom line, the price of the shoes saved my butt at the last minute, and the comfort of the shoes saved my feet and back. I'm a convert.

By far the most comfortable character shoes I've ever owned. I can rehearse and dance in them for hours. I normally wear an 8, but a 7 1/2 in this shoe fit well (they were out of size 8, but luckily it paid off).

Very comfortable -
These shoes are extremely comfortable. They have a very soft, cushiony insole. I wear these shoes for street wear, not dance, and the only problem I encountered is that they can be very slippery on most indoor surfaces. I had a rubber tip put on the heel and they are now perfect. The strap is very comfortable and because it is so long with many holes it should fit a wide or narrow foot. They look really nice and you would never know that the uppers are not real leather. I'm very happy with these shoes.

Ouch!
Finally going to take those dance classes I've wanted to. So this is my first dance shoe and I'm excited to get it. Zappos is the best!
As soon as I put the shoes on they wrapped softly around my foot and felt like a perfect fit... then I started walking around the carpet and Ouch! The inside tab end of the strap (where the shoe meets the foot) is crafted so the shoe turns in and digs into your foot. I do have thinner skin but this is very painful. I wore them for 10 minutes, took them off and both of my feet have red welts where the strap rubbed. My daughter says to rub the shoes with oil where they touch the tender inside of the foot, bend the leather backward away from my foot to try to train it the other way, and/or just get used to the rubbing. All that?! But they are the only sexy ones I could find for a beginner so maybe she's right. If all that doesn't work, I hope I can get past the pain.

Good dancing shoe!
I tried a number of different styles and brands for a dancing shoe - just took my second Salsa class and needed something that would move better than my every day shoes. This is it! I teach school all day and can go to dance class at night for 1 1/2 hours in this shoe with no discomfort. I usually wear a 71/2, but had to get an 8. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful shoe for beginning dancers -
Wanted a narrow shoe so tried Capezio & another brand (Tiptoes?) but they were too narrow and I had the same issues as listed in their on-line reviews. Ordered these & had to reorder 1/2 size up, but once I got those it's been smooth sailing. No "break-in" required with these. Great price, too, for the beginner who doesn't want to invest a lot up front.

Haven’t started my dance classes yet, but these came 2 days after I ordered them (amazing!), and they fit great and feel very comfortable. They're not my style, so I don't think they're super cute, but I imagine they're good for dance lessons. :)

This was my first character shoe ever and it has been great. I ordered it a half a size larger which was just right, and it only took a wearing or so to break in. It has a decent aesthetic and is very comfortable even though my feet are on the wide side, and they don't feel like a heel whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this shoe.
