I broke my ankle during the Summer and when my doctor finally let me take off the boot for good, found that none of my shoes fit, due to swelling and the wrap around brace that I still need to wear on that ankle. \r\n\r\nI normally wear a medium width shoe, but found I needed a Wide Width to accomodate the swelling and the brace. Not in any shape to go shopping at the mall just yet, I found this shoe at Zappos, and I am very pleased with it. \r\n\r\nI have had New Balance shoes in the past, and so I ordered a half size larger and the wider width; as far as I can tell, the fit is right on for this type of shoe.

These are the best work shoes I've purchased in the past 15 years of working with required Non-slip shoes. They're amazing. True to size, available in wide widths (which is always harder to find), and lightweight. These remind me so much of my gym shoes; they're perfect for running around work.

Have had other more expensive New Balance shoes for work, but these are the best, by far. Highly recommend. For support and comfort they're the best. If you're thinking "fashionable," not so much.

I occasionally work concession stands at sporting venues, and had not found any shoes that were truly slip-proof and comfortable for standing long hours. My narrow feet add to the challenge of finding shoes. My legs no longer are tired, and I don't slip on wet floors. They are comfortable from the first wearing. Highly recommend!

True to fit, but I had to add gel insoles to make them comfortable enough. It may be the brand because I had comfort issues with a pair of running shoes as well. Zappos is awesome as always!

I am a small adult female,I have small,wide feet ,with a very high arch. I can always find some type of shoe from Zappos, be it casual or dress. i really like the fast delivery and their return policy. I can\'t find a size 5-51/2 wide in my town or any other town close by. When I need shoes I go to Zappos. I also told the post office lady and some others about Zappos.

The perfect shoes for work. I am on my feet all day on concrete floors, and these shoes offer great support and comfort. It was great to finally find a pair that meet the requirements of my job and come in Narrow.

I love my New Balance 631. I am a school food service manager (yes, a Lunch Lady) and they are the best shoes I have ever worn. They are true to size and are truly nonslip.

I have finally found the PERFECT saftey approved work shoe for my job. I am on my feet 8 hours a day, running around, standing for long periods at a time on a hard surface, exposure to moisture and heat...these are the ones. My feet finally do not hurt after a long day at work. I am afraid that now I\'ve found the best work shoe, they will be discontined or something, so I am going to hurry and order a couple of back up pairs. Thank you New Balance for this awesome shoe, and thank you Zappos for your wonderful and lightening fast customer service and shipping!

Zappos is a fantastic way to shop for my work shoes. You cant beat New Balance for its lightweight comfort and durability. And Zappos: It's almost like there is a warehouse at the end of my street the packages get here so fast. We giggle every time we order; when we hit send we laugh and say there's the doorbell. Obviously there isn't a warehouse on the corner, but the service is untouched by any website I've ever ordered from. My son ordered a pair of Uggs for his girlfriend for this past Christmas, at 3 pm and at 10 am the next morning they were on our doorstep. Incredible! Keep up the great work, I really love the customer service. How can you beat free return shipping; not that I had to return anything so far, but no one does that. Thanks Zappos, keep doing what your doing!

I ordered this shoe because my employment can be quite physical and I was tired of slipping and sliding all over stockroom and retail store floors. The grip is great! The fit is suberb for these narrow feet that can be somewhat difficult to outfit! I have always wondered if I could wear NB and now I know! I plan on purchasing sneakers for casual wear.

I purchased these shoes because they were specifically advertised as being "slip resistent" and "service" shoes. I work in a spa so these features, as well as comfort, were very important to me. After 4 weeks, these shoes have not failed on any of my criteria. They are also very true to size. I am very pleased with this purchase. And, as a long-time customer, I continue to have nothing but praise for Zappos!

This shoe is way better than anything Shoes for Crews has to offer. Very comfortable. Be careful on the no slip part, when going from a wet to a dry floor the shoe slips quite a bit. All in all this is a good shoe; I would recommend this one to anyone.

Very good shoes. I wear orthotics and these shoes are just perfect. I just had to remove the insoles, insert my orthotics and I was walking on clouds.

Great for work -
I got these for a friend who is a waitress. She needed shoes that were both comfortable and slip resistant. These shoes meet these requirements and then some. She claims that they are the most comfortable pair she has worn to date. She says that they are truly slip resistant as well. And Zappos always go above and beyond to make sure the customer is taken care of. This is the only place I purchase shoes and I always recommend them to anyone who mentions that they need to purchase a new pair of shoes.

Good buy!
I offer to pay half for non-slip work shoes for my restaurant employees; after trying these out for myself I bought three more pairs for our workers. New Balance was always a good sneaker for me and these are great. Still use inserts, but they are keepers!

These get the job done -
These shoes are worth what I paid and they work well for what I need them for. I don't LOVE them, but then, they're work shoes. I do have to wear an arch support insole in them to stay comfortable throughout a shift. I sent back two pairs to another retailer before settling with Zappos. I am very happy with the service and prompt shipping. I might not buy these shoes again, but I will definitely buy from Zappos again.

I purchased these shoes because I was looking for shoes that weren't slippery on wet surfaces. I am a senior citizen and have hurt myself with a couple of falls and now I am paranoid about falling again. These shoes are very comfortable and I feel very secure knowing these will grip the pavement. I only wear them on rainy days or if I'm going somewhere that I know will be wet. Shoes like these are hard to find, but I knew I'd be able to find them at Zappos. My most favorite pair of shoes for everyday use are the Brooks Addiction Walkers - I can't live without them as I have problem feet.

Great shoe for work.
I needed a shoe that would be comfortable for long hours on my feet. It is definitely not the most attractive shoe, but if comfort is what you are looking for, this shoe is great. It also has a non-slip sole, which I needed as well. Too bad they are not attractive, otherwise I would wear them every where.

It was the first time I ever bought shoes on line. The shoes are very are true to size, good support. I always buy good shoes and pay a lot for them. This time I bought a good pair of shoes and spent less than half of what I would have spent. The delivery was so quick I ordered the shoes on Thursday around 3:30 and they were at my door Friday at 2:00. I would buy shoes from them again.

Super Shoe!!
Very comfortable work shoe. There was no need to slowly break them in like some shoes. I found these to be the perfect work shoe and wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.
