So when I bought these they were a little tight, but stretched out to fit my feet perfectly. I work 9 hour shifts on my feet so I really needed comfortable shoes, but they also needed to look good because I work in retail. These are the most comfortable flats I have ever owned. They're cute and they give good arch support and comfort!

I love this shoe. I now have 3 pair of Earth shoes and I'll never wear anything else again. They have pretty much eliminated my lower back pain and are so comfortable!

I have another pair of Earth shoes and bought my second pair, the Rocket, to succeed a pair of Saucony sneakers. Four stars instead of five because I had to re-order a half size larger and because the cut out that surrounds the Achilles tendon presses uncomfortably. It's not so noticeable after awhile and does appear to be "breaking in", but the accommodation for this is tying the shoe more loosely than optimal… but I like 'em way better than my conventional Sauconys. They support my high arches without orthotics and my wide feet are never squeezed. I wear them constantly for walking on city streets and they do fine.

You really do burn more calories with negative heels! These shoes are comfy, and do help my posture. I find no negatives about the negative heel. I tested myself on the treadmill and found while wearing these I burn quite a few more calories, than with regular shoes (with walking). Perhaps, I am working harder with them on. Also, I have fallen arches and have to wear special orthotics from the podiatrist, but I can wear these comfortably for long lengths of time without the orthotic. And you can't really wear orthotics in these because of the structure. Earth brand is quickly becoming one of my favorites!

Great shoe! Tons of support!!
This shoe has done wonders for my plantar fasciitis. It's so supportive that sometimes my ankles ache after walking correctly when I wear them - I walk so badly in other shoes!
Definitely the most support of any of my earth shoes. Kind of clunky looking, but as long as I wear long pants, its not that bad. I normally take an 8 in regular shoes, 8 in earth shoes and I needed and 8.5 in these.

First of all, I don't like wearing clunky shoes that make my feet look even bigger than they are. I wear a size 9. But, I really needed some good walking shoes. Earth shoes have worked very nicely for me in the past. I have 3 pairs - 1 sandal and 2 pairs of clogs. With narrow feet - I have a hard time finding "healthy" shoes. After trying the Rockets - my problems are solved!!! They are theeeee most comfy shoe that I've even had on my feet. I have lots of Birkis and Mephisto which are good - but the arch support in the rockets are amazing to say the least. I just tighten up the ties and they fit my narrow feet. My foot and back pain is gone - almost instantly. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone with back or foot pain. They do make my feet look bigger than they are - but maybe that's because they are still new. I love them!!!

I love my new Earth Rocket shoes. They fit perfectly and they look good. They are comfortable and it didn't take very long for me to get used to the structure of the shoe.

It definitely improves my posture. The support is good. I wear them to the gym on the days I lift weights or walk on the treadmill. I don't feel comfortable to run in them. I got them in black and they do look a little "orthopedic", but overall I am happy!

Fast shipping!
I just received these shoes a couple of days ago and they are comfortable. I have not had the chance to wear them for extended periods of time, so I don't know how my feet would feel from prolonged wear. They are very boxy looking, but they felt true to size. I am most impressed with the shipping. Zappos expressed them at no extra charge and I received them not even 24 hours after I ordered them online. I will definitely order from Zappos again.

Once you get used to the "negative heel" it's a great shoe. It feels really strange at first but I had a lot of heel pain (plantar fasciitis). I used the New Balance 1010 and the New Balance 1123 while I was in physical therapy, but after the pain left me I wore the Rocket and it was very comfortable. It actually causes you to use different muscles in your ankle because of the way it positions your foot. But there is no pressure on your heel, which is very nice. Takes a bit of getting used to but worth it!!! The look of the shoe is a bit strange, but the comfort makes it worth it! I do recommend this shoe! Get a size larger.

First of all, I am in no way a complainer! My outlook on everything is very sunny. Okay, I bought these shoes after having owned 3 other Earth type shoes and loved them. This was 7 months ago. They have already come apart where the sole and heel come together, and the cushioning totally collapsed, causing me an ankle injury and knee pain. I am going to drop a letter to the company, for this should not be at this price. Sorry guys, or gals rather. Please reconsider your choice.

I have wide feet and high arches. This shoe fit the best of all the Earth shoes I tried. It runs a half size small - really. Great walking shoes, I walk miles in them. Earth shoes take a bit of getting used to, the first day I walked my calves and legs were tired. No problems now. And they really do help with posture.

Awesome shoe - Totally comfortable, I had no break in time at all. I am mainly wearing these to work where I walk over 5 miles in a night. I did need a little higher sock than I normally wear. Other than that, they were perfect. These shoes also help keep my feet in align with walking properly. A great calf stretch. The best thing, my feet don't hurt!

I won't purchase any other sneaker but Earth from now on. Lightweight, great looking, and super comfortable. I just started wearing Earth about a month ago and I LOVE THEM! I have joint and back issues and I've noticed a difference - less pain/no pain and I know it's because of the Earth shoes, sandals, and sneakers I purchased from Zappos! I wear a 5 1/2, but always purchase a 6 in sneakers and did so with these.

My "Paul Bunion" says ahhhhhhhhhh -
I've been having trouble with bunions, mine was on top of the foot at the big toe joint. Try finding shoes that don't rub on that area!! It's impossible, until now. I can run in these and my feet aren't swelling afterwards. My hip is staying in alignment. I did take a 1/2 size smaller, usually 8.5, but they were huge. I still have a little extra room in the 8's, but 7.5 would be too short. Note, I have a friend that bought the blue & red model, they don't run as generous as the white & grey style. Happy Feet are productive feet. Thank you Earth shoes, I now own 3 pairs in less than 2 weeks time. I also have very high arches, so this shoe is great.

Awesome shoes for the health field - I'm a medical massage therapist and working 13 hours a day is no problem with my Earth shoes. My feet never hurt and the negative heel allows me to save my back by easily using correct body mechanics. I've recommended them to chronic pain clients and gone as far as to take my shoes off for them to try them on themselves! I’m ready to buy another pair in a different color!

Squeaky, but cute and practical - Overall these shoes are great, and I do feel like I get an extra good lower body work out when I wear these on long walks. The only problems are that the shoe is very 'squeaky' and that toe area is a bit cramped (in terms of height, not length - it's like my toes hit the top of the shoe more than usual). I think the squeaking is related to the vegan materials – they don't stretch as well as leather.

Most comfortable walking shoes ever!
I tend to be really picky about my walking shoes; if I don't choose wisely, my knees and back let me know about it. These shoes are so comfortable that I forgot that I had them on as soon as I put them on my feet. That is really unusual for me!
Would I buy them again? Yes.

Love my new pink and white rockets!
I had Earth shoes in the 70s and loved them. These are the first pair I have had since then. I had to wait for the new pink and white Rockets because they weren't out yet. Worth the wait. They are very comfortable. True to size.

Okay, but not for me.
I'm mixed about Earth shoes. They don't have many styles I'd consider "cute." The one I found, Earth Ivy, causes me pain in my knee when I wear them all day. Perhaps they're too heavy and/or the negative heal aggravates my old injury. I thought the Rocket might work out better, but it was tight and uncomfortable.

Could be wider, for me... wish Earth made shoes in a wide am trying them with very loosened laces; otherwise, VERY comfy, these Rockets are SO cushioned, you feel the bounce back with each step, and they have great arch support for my plantar fasciitis. My first foray into Earth shoes, feel it immediately in my calves, so I'll take it slow around the house; but hope to make these my Europe touring shoes.

Great arch support!
These shoes offer great arch support and take a little pressure off sore heels. I don't recommend them if you have knees that hyperextend. They DO NOT work with orthotics. I had a heel surgery ~1 1/2 yr. ago, and they don't bother that foot at all.

This shoe ROCKS! I ordered the white with red accents. I am a personal trainer and on my feet all day. Not only do I love the workout my calves are getting but they are by far incredibly comfortable! I have worked out in these shoes and I highly recommend these shoes for either a workout or for someone who is on their feet.
