Not for larger children.
My daughter is 23 pounds and although within the weight limit for this bag, she barely fits. She can sit inside, but with all the adjustments maxed out, the child shoulder restraints barely fit over her shoulders. And at 23 pounds, the backpack is extremely uncomfortable to wear! Perhaps it is my particular body shape, but no matter how I adjusted it, I couldn't get it to fit comfortably. I can see though that this bag would be great for a smaller, lighter child. The best thing is that it looks like a regular backpack, but I would not recommend it unless your child is less than 20 pounds.
