"Santa" was able to replace my sons old worn out slip on sneakers... and in a hurry! It was literally overnight shipping (less than 24hrs!?) and free (shipping) on top of it. We are so pleased with the Van\'s docksiders. He loves them, they are his new favorite shoes, comfy/non-slip-sole/nice stay-fast color (slate blue.) Actually very classy looking for sneakers. Van's may be a bit more pricey but Zappos made it worth it all. These Van's did run about 1/2 size larger than most brands (as other reviews had stated) and we ordered accordingly, and it was a great success. Thanks for the great on line shoe company. My new fave!

Vans are a cool classic shoe for boys/girls. I ordered these shoes in a size 1 for my 6 1/2 year old. They ran a bit big... similar to Converse. The way he is growing they'll fit soon... he wants to wear them skateboarding... this is a flashback to the early 80s for me... love them!

My kids live in these shoes! Better than barefoot when they can't bother with tying laces and are running in and out of the house. We usually have to have 2 pair: one that they can look funky cool going out to dinner and one that is caked in mud and sand. Vans are the ultimate California hip style, but lighter on the wallet than some of the other big brand names! Pretty true to size, stretch out slightly with wear over time.

I love Zappos! I ordered the wrong size slippers for my grandson at Christmas. After receiving them I called Zappos and they sent out the correct size before I had returned the wrong ones without charging me. Wonderful customer service! If I can\'t find it on Zappos, it\'s probably not out there.

My son loves these! They are easy to slip on and he chooses these over his velcro sneakers all the time. The blue is not really navy but a medium blue. I\'m sure we\'ll be buying another pair when he outgrows these.

These shoes are great quality and my son loves the design. They are a good value for the price. They run HUGE. Order a least a full size down.

Great shoe for kids. You don't have to hassle with laces! My daughter has multiple pairs in different colors and loves them.

This is the 3rd pair I bought for my 4-year-old grandson in the past year or so. Vans childrens slip-ons run about a 1/2 size large, so order accordingly. His feet are not narrow, and they fit him well. Very good choices, from puppies to skulls. (Very fast delivery and the free 2-way shipping is great! Zappos customer service, billing, and refunds are timely and correct.)

This is the 3rd pair of checkerboard Vans I\'ve bought for my son - he absolutely loves these shoes (and has gotten quite a few compliments from wistful older guys!). They slip on easily but stay on well, are very comfortable, and have so much flair! They wear well, and can be washed, though I find they end up more gray and white instead of black and white after being washed.

I have bought 5 pairs of these for my boys (ages 2 and 5) and still have not gotten the size right. The Toddler 12 is the same as the Youth 12.5. Both are way too big for my 5 year old that wears 12 in all other brands of shoes. Now,I need to order an 11. My 2 year old wears 9 in most brands, but I had to order a 8.5 after several tries. Love the shoes, they are very cute and great cushioning.

Raised On Vans -
My son has been raised on Vans. They're comfortable and extremely cute on a toddler. These slip-ons are great, as are the old school with velcro, but order the slip-ons one size smaller. They are consistently one full size larger than marked.

My son is a 100% Vans fan. We've bought every pattern in his size more than once. He liked a pair worn by an older kid which they weren't selling in the store. Fortunately Zappos carried them and he has a unique pair different from his friends. Good job Zappos, keep selling those hard to find patterns.

These shoes were a gift for my son. When I placed the original order I ordered the shoes too small. After giving the gift, I made a phone call to Zappos EXCELLENT customer service and found it was no problem at all to return the shoes and get the right size. Thank you thank you for your great service and my son loves the shoes. He won't take them off to be exact :)

I love these boots. I read the reviews before I purchased them and took the advice of one person and ordered them a half size up. I don't wear heels, because I can never find a comfortable shoe/boot. I decided to give these a try. These boots are very comfortable. I stood up for 4 hours in them, I danced in them, and never once did I complain to my friends that I had to sit down because my feet were hurting. As for the fashion aspect of it, let’s just say, I'm usually not the one that gets the compliments about my footwear. All night ladies were complimenting me on my boots and and asking where did I got them, and I caught some ladies who didn't want to give me the compliment staring at my boots. Yes, buy these boots if you're just learning to walk in heels or if you just need a comfy boot...these are it. I REALLY LOVE THESE BOOTS.

Such a classic -
I ordered the navy blue for my 5 year old... these are so reminiscent of my childhood. They haven't changed a bit either. Still comfy, still durable, easy for kids to put on and off themselves, AND still stylish. Both of my kids have worn Vans Slip Ons most of their lives. They really enjoy picking different colors and patterns to express their individual personalities. I don't think I'll ever NOT recommend Vans. The slip ons do run a half size big, FYI.

Vans Kids Classic Slip-ons are the only shoes my daughter will wear. They are so comfortable, come in a variety of styles and colors, and don't have to be Tied! They are very durable for wear at school. Love to be able to shop online at night and then get the new shoes the next day, without having to go to the mall!!!

Not for young kids -
We got the Van's slip on classics in a toddler size 10. If my kids want Van's when they are older, I would try them again, but I won't buy them again for them now while they are young. They are stiff. They started falling apart with not even hard wear (though I did wash them in the washer, and air dried). The back label fell off. They seem to run narrow and longer than sized.

The first pair I ordered were my son's size (1) and they were way too big. I have not ordered a pair of vans in a couple years and forgot how big they run. The return process was amazing as always and I had the 13's right away. He loves them.

Great Experience!
Since we live in a rural area, and are very limited in what we can find locally, I decided to shop for my 5 year old son's school shoes online. I had heard that Zappos had a great selection and shipping was free. My son wanted red and black check shoes, which we could not find anywhere here. He picked out a pair of Vans. I received confirmation of the order that day, and a note telling me our shipping had been upgraded. We received his shoes the very next day and they were exactly what he wanted, he was thrilled. All I can say is that we will shop Zappos for our shoes from now on. That is the best customer service I have received in a very long time. I will recommend Zappos to all my friends. Keep up the great work Zappos!
