Great Boot!
So comfortable! Great for traveling, walking a lot, and warm. I only wish it had been in leather and not suede and I wish the heel was more modern looking. Overall I was looking for a tall comfortable boot that was stylish and this boot fit the mold.

The size is accurate. I can’t wear HIGH heels, but these are graceful and easy to put on. I will prob. get another pair.

Awesome Boot!!
I have been looking for a pair of black suede boots, that didn't have such a high heel for a long time. They make me feel sexy & these boots are just what I wanted. Not only do they look great & stylish, but they are so comfortable. I have a narrow foot with very skinny legs, & these are the first pair of boots that fit my foot, plus hug my legs without any gaps around the top. The suede is so soft, & they are very easy to get on & off. They stay up on my legs & don't slide down. I have never in my life paid this much for a pair of boots. I felt so guilty at first, but now that I have them, I'm so glad I paid the extra money, because they're worth every penny!! Zappos' service is great. I ordered them one day, & they were delivered in two days. Thanks Zappos & to all the reviewers. You really helped me make up my mind on what to order.

Gorgeous Classic Boot -
Wondering if this is the Stuart Weitzman I fell in love with 3-4 years ago? Two years ago, a pair of loafers went back to Nordstrom’s due to very tight fit in the toe area - the other pair I bought at the same time SHOULD have gone back too, but I couldn't part w/the style and find myself slapping on bandaids to avoid the blisters these $300 shoes give me! I haven't bought a pair of SW since and was reluctant to buy these boots. The reviews I read indicated that there were women out there replacing their old Straightaways, so I was hoping this was the old SW. I was thrilled to find these boots are roomy in the toe area - I'm a 7 medium, and I ordered the 7. I wear them w/tights and very very thin socks so they don't slip around, but I know the 6 1/2 would have been too tight. I wore them for the first time while hosting a house party, and at the end of the night, my feet felt fine. I LOVE these boots now, and if I don't ruin them, this classic style will still be "in" 10 years from now. Know that the entire boot is suede - heel included. Take extra care not to scuff.

Very pleased with these boots -
I like these boots a lot. They're comfortable and look great. My only issue is that the boot shaft ends about 3 inches below my knee, but I have long legs and just have to live with that. A tall person, though, might want to consider a boot with a longer (18 inch) shaft.

What an awesome pair of boots! I never thought I would spend this much on a pair of boots and I can't really afford to, but they are so worth the money. Not only are they extremely comfortable, but versatile. You can dress them up or down. I also have very skinny calves, so finding a pair of tall boots that don't look cheap, slip down, or look like I am wearing buckets on my legs is extremely difficult. I love the low heel, even though I am petite because I can actually wear them all day teaching and still get the height I want. The slim fit elongates and enhances my skinny legs. My only worry is that I am going to wear them out before I get my money’s worth. That is yet to be determined!

Weitzman's Straightaway in Black Stretch Suede.
It was comfortable, but . . . I always order a wide in SW shoes, even though I have a narrow foot, to make sure the toe area is comfortable. In this case I should have ordered a medium, as the shoe has ample room. The foot was comfortable, and the heel height was also comfortable, but the boot would not stay up. It was very snug to my leg, but it kept slipping down and was baggy around my ankles. It also didn't go all the way up to my knee, which felt weird. It had a shorter shaft than I was expecting. All in all, they didn't seem like an expensive pair of boots. I would have liked more padding in the sole, and a sole that wasn't as slippery. They're going back.

Love these but can't re-find them in size 7 -
I absolutely LOVE these boots. I use them so so much that I now need a new pair after years of wear... I wish that Zappos would re-carry more sizes in this boot other than just the 5 and 11. Zappos-please please please make these available in size 7!!! Thanks.

These boots are beautiful!
I finally ordered these boots -- after trying a million other lesser priced pairs and returning them all -- and am so pleased with them! They are sleek and stylish and exactly what I wanted. Well worth the price tag. Only issues -- based on reviews below, I ordered a 7.5, which is too small. I am exchanging for an 8. I don't think these run a half size smaller than marked. The heel is also covered with suede which may be a challenge to keep in good condition.

They give other boots the "boot".
My daughter had a pair of these boots for several years and has replaced them recently with a new pair. I ordered my first pair of Straightaway boots and will not go back to my other pair of leather boots.

The best boot ever -
Very sleek and stylish. The toe is pointed just enough to make them a classic but not too much so that they are trendy. Very comfortable. Well worth the price. I have narrow calves and they never fall down.

We all know that boots can be uncomfortable. If you're wanting to buy yourself a present, a really nice one, I would definitely recommend these. They feel like a glove on your foot.

First- I should have followed the advice of a review that indicated to order this boot 1/2 size smaller. I will be returning my original purchase and ordering 1/2 size down. Beautiful boot, not too tight, easy to remove. Zappos service 5 star!

Stuart Weitzman Straightaway Boot -
BEAUTIFUL boot! It's difficult to find a sleek, sexy boot without a 3+ inch heel, but this is it. They run about a half size large but I decided to keep them anyway and wear something thicker than a trouser sock. The shaft in this boot has a little stretch to it and expands for those of us with larger calves. They're also very easy to slip on and off even without having a zipper. These really are the perfect boots!
