I tried far too many boots for warm, comfortable and cute, and these finally did the trick. They are more comfortable than my sneakers! And they aren't bad looking at all. I have not been able to really try them in the cold, but so far very happy.

Love these in black! Warm, comfy, and a rugged look. Perfect for apres ski or just around town in the rain. Zipper does stick to the lining that is a bit of a drag; will see if I can fix it.

Best boots I ever wore! We went shopping in Midtown Manhattan, Saturday after Black Friday, I was on my feet for 6 hours. These boots didn't make my feet tired and no pain at the end of the day. And it actually keeps my feet warm, too. I have 7 1/2 shoe size and I ordered size 39; it was perfect on my feet with thick socks.

Rieker Z7170 Eike 70 - I purchased these in espresso color. They look darker in the pictures. It's more of a chestnut and matches anything in your wardrobe. They are true to size and have a snug fit. I have skinny heels and these fit like a glove. When you walk on them it feels like walking on clouds (more like a well cushioned running shoe); the genuine sheerling linning delivers the unsurpassed comfort that only the real thing does. Sole has a good grip too. Can't say enough positive things about these boots. And of course, I love you Zappos!

Bought these on a whim and didn't have high expectations. They are warm courtesy of the shearling, comfortable like sneakers and look great. I took these, brand new, on a trip to visit family and they are the only shoes I wore for 4 days. No problems. Great value for real shearling lined boots.

Great boots, made it through a tough Chicago winter with no leaks and looking like new. Just clean any salt off right away with white vinegar.

Wonderful boot! The warmest boot I've had on my feet in a long time. True to size, I am a size 8 and these fit my slightly wide foot just fine. Stylish, practical under jeans, comfortable for walking and trudging around outdoors. I have the espresso brown and also looked at the black, which my husband thought was very "sharp" looking.

Really great winter boots. Light and stylish, but they will still be very warm on a winter's day due to the fleece lining. Have yet to try them in the rain/snow so I can't comment on waterproofing.

I was in need of good winter snow boots and here they came one morning later! The trek is excellent as I have to walk up a hill everyday from my house. These should do the job. It is very comfortable, thick fleece, good arch support, no-struggle zipper and snug around my leg. Will hold in my jeans well. These should look good with all of my clothes. Although these are winter-proof I will winterize the brown suede just to be sure. Very attractive! Now I am all set for the snow and especially cold Boston weather.

One of the best purchases I have ever made. These boots took me through Europe in the winter, as well as in college in Northern Minnesota through snow and ice, and my feet stayed as dry and warm as ever. They fit perfectly with thick wool socks, but are a little big with thin socks. They are almost 2 years old, and I am still overjoyed with my purchase.

These boots are true to size and have the comfort and warmth I was looking for at a very affordable price. I have gotten a lot of use from them so far since the winter has been very cold and snowy.

Perfect shoe for winter!
I ordered this boot for our ski trips. I wanted a stylish, warm and comfortable boot to wear around the ski town. These boots are perfect and provide great traction.

These boots are very comfy, warm and (almost 100%) waterproof. I stepped in some slushy puddles and water seeped through the zipper. Otherwise, they have been great for a yucky Midwestern winter.

Great Comfort!
This boot is comfortable and rugged, but still urban. I put them on immediately after they arrived and went out to dinner on a very cold day in New Orleans! Then I wore them throughout my holiday travels in 17-32 degree weather and they are wonderful! They will not accommodate heavy socks, but you don't need them with the lining. This is my second pair of Rieker's, and I will absolutely buy more.

I love this boot...looked far and wide for a cool, comfy suede boot easy to pull on and off...good with all sorts of jeans, pants and for my nice but casual work place. Shearling is yummy. I have a narrow small foot and it works just right!

Love these boots -
I ordered these boots for a one week trip to London in early December. I took these boots and a pair of Merrell bisects to wear on the trip. Basically I ended up wearing these boots the whole time. They look great with skinny leg jeans tucked in or under bootcut jeans too. They really kept me warm in London. We only had one day of steady rain - I walked in my boots with my toes dry and warm, and my sister was sloshing around in her sneakers. They were very comfortable walking all day long - I never had leg cramps or foot discomfort. I recommend these shoes. I have the brown pair.

Rieker Boots -
Overall I am really happy with the boots. Many times a medium width is so wide that my feet move around inside the boot and they get really tired after a while. These boots are narrower, but not tight, and my feet are much more comfortable. The quality is good and I like the looks for a casual boot. My only problem is that they are just slightly short. I got a 39 (size 8). Usually I am a perfect size 8. If these were just a little longer they would be a perfect 5.

I was looking for a boot I could wear everyday for work - I am an artist so no need to dress up. These are warm, but not too warm. They are comfy for sure. They fit my narrow-ish foot perfectly, so I wonder if these would accommodate people with wide feet. If I nit pick I'd like the boot to have a bit more chunkiness - more along the lines of Keen, Docs, etc and I wish they had more support. If a sneaker is 10 in support and a flip flop 0, these are a 6, but would I get them again, absolutely. They fit too well not to.

Amazing Boot!
I brought these boots for my DC Thanksgiving trip. (I'm a Fl gal.) I knew it was going to be cold; I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking. I'm really into cute clothes... I wanted something that would look good with Seven for Mankind, True Religion Jeans... (you get the picture). These boots were a life saver! Not only were they truly comfortable; they kept my feet so warm due to the insulation; and they were totally adorable. Even after a long day of walking all around DC, I still did not want to take them off. I'm waiting for the temp to dip into the low 60's for me to wear them here in Fl. The only thing I would have liked more would have been a 1/2 higher heel since I’m petite (5'2). I absolutely love them.

Decent boot -
I really like the look of this boot. It looks nice and tailored with jeans or pants and not at all bulky like other bad weather boots...however, it has a rather thin sole so not a lot of cushion which suprised me after reading about the 'shock proof' insole. Overall, a nicely made pair of boots to get me thru a nasty Indiana winter.

Love them! Warm and comfortable, very easy to clean. Wore them snow and rain and they hold up just fine. I wear size 8.5 and the 40 fits perfectly.

I've been searching for a warm & comfy pair of boots for winter and these are perfect! I haven't yet worn them out into the elements, just been testing indoors, however, they will be fine and the label states waterproof. Nice fleece lining inside, quality suede out, and rugged sole without looking bulky. Workmanship appears flawless, this is my first experience with Rieker which will now be a favorite brand. I usually wear a 9-9.5 and ordered these in 9.5 which is a bit roomy, the 9 would've been ok, but now I have room for thick socks if needed. Also, they don't make my feet look big! Happy with purchase! Thank you Zappos!

Amazingly comfortable -
I can't believe how warm on comfortable these boots are! I was a bit daring and wore them for the very first time when I was planning on walking around the city for a few hours. I was absolutely amazed...they fit like a glove and took no breaking in time at all. I will be wearing these almost daily this winter for sure.
One more thing, I ordered 1/2 size larger as people recommended and this worked perfectly.

Great winter boot -
This shoe is great, excellent quality. I've been searching for a while to find an all-leather winter boot with warm lining (this one is wool lined!) and this one is perfect! I have narrow feet and it fits well. It's also a lot less bulky and more fashionable than a lot of other boots I tried and could even be worn with a skirt or dress! Well worth the money! German quality!
