Clarks Cedar rocks!
Got this for my husband for Christmas. Last pair he bought 2 years ago and wore them out. He put these on - right out of the box and threw the old ones away. This is pretty amazing for him - he's a cautious guy especially when it comes to his feet. He loves them - they are a perfect size 10.

Great Boots -
I bought these boot's last week because I needed nice shoes to wear when I meet with clients when there is 2 feet of snow on the ground in Buffalo. The shoes look great and they keep me warm and dry. They're perfect to wear for a meeting when I have to wear a suit or when I am going out with the guys for a few drinks.

Clarks shoes in general -
I own the cedar as it's a fantastic shoe. I first came across Clarks shoes while stationed in England in the 70s and have bought nothing else since. They are the most comfortable, long-lasting, and best shoe in the world! I have also made converts of several people who agree.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Any Clarks shoe is good if you like the style.

As a rule, Clarks shoes have been the most comfortable, longest lasting shoes I've ever owned. The Cedar is no exception. It is a very high quality, well built shoe. Especially if you wear a wide-width shoe.
The Cedar's high back takes a few wearings to break in. The first time I wore them got a wear burn about 4 inches up on the back of my ankle, right where the back of the shoe ends. I put a band-aid on the wear spot and bent the top back and down 20 or 30 times and its fine now.
Zappos customer service is the best I've ever experienced.

Try before you buy!
I am having trouble with the cuff of the boot. The back is digging into my Achilles. I didn't realize the annoyance until I walked a while in them. I hope they break in and the pain goes away. Otherwise, I am looking for another pair. I don't know why they design such a protruding lip like that, style? Also, not as much traction on snow as I expected. Heel kept slipping, almost felt like I was wearing ski boots.

I bought this shoe for my husband. He experienced fantastic fit from day one. This shoe has provided excellent ankle support. The shoe did not need to be broken in. He was on his feet 10 hours in uneven terrain and did not experience discomfort.

7 day a week shoe -
I bought these Clarks for my husband for our anniversary and he hasn't worn any other shoe since! He is an engineer and can wear them in the office to the job sites. Perfect in all ways. Versatile and comfortable.

Fit them slightly snug -
I found that I should have bought the next half size smaller even though they felt snug. They will stretch in 3 days. Next time I will buy a half size smaller. Other than that they are extremely comfortable. Will buy them again.

Great boots for hiking or casual wear -
I bought these to replace my favorite shoes ever which were a pair of Clarks hiking boots. Great fit from the start and fantastic comfort in use. This model was the closest to my old ones. Major difference besides the styling is old ones had much softer uppers but these are waterproof so I guess worth the tradeoff.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Nothing beats Clarks but some Keen and Merrells are ok.

Jury is still out, but so far so good -
I just bought a pair from Florsheim in our local mall. The minute the salesman put them on my feet, I didn't want to take them off. Very roomy and comfortable. They claim to be waterproof, but I haven't tested that yet. If they last as long as I hope they do, they will be well worth the money. Most boots and shoes I own seem to crack across the midsole around the area of the ball of the foot for whatever reason. If these resist that, I will be thrilled.

Not worth the money -
I work outside all day and I spent a good deal of money thinking these boots were "waterproof". Not so. After an hour or two of walking on wet streets my toes become wet. The same quality boot can be had at any local dept. store for 1/4th the price of these boots. Also, these boots are dangerous in wet conditions. The soled provide almost no traction..

Shoes look good and are comfortable ran narrow, only problem is the way shoe collar is cut/made, back pant leg always get caught on back of shoe collar. P.S. Your customer service team are the best, they understand customer problems, and help instead of criticise.

This is a great men’s boot. I have always bought my husband the Rocky dress boots, which are cheaper, but he has trouble with his feet aching him. These are a bit costly, even for Clarks I think but well worth it. He says they are the most comfortable boots he's ever had. They look great with khakis or jeans. Love them!!

Comfortable shoes for work -
This is the second time I've purchase a pair of Clark's boots. They have worn very well and held up to daily wear. I would highly recommend them.
