Good shoe, but creases quickly -
These shoes look and feel good out of the box.
Only negative is that the toe creases very quickly and makes the shoes look older than they are.
If you plan on buying these, plan on using shoe trees to try and keep the shape.

I found these totally comfortable with the first wear. Stylish. Great for work and casual occasions. Not exactly that top-notch, gotta have the best leather shoe uber-style look, but it does the job very nicely otherwise. Great shoe.

Middle School "Concert Band" Shoe -
My 13-year-old son needed a black dress shoe for band, and this one is good enough for that purpose. I can't attest to the comfort personally, but he (who wears New Balance M992's 24/7), said these "weren't too awful". The toe is more square (less long and pointed) than Bostonian Academy. (A shoe with a longer toe box sometimes looks too clown-like on shorter, skinny-ish legs) There is a little bit of a raised cup on the insole around the heel, and a padded collar all the way around, which help adjust the fit for a foot that's not quite MAN-sized. So, for all the other mothers out there struggling to keep their adolescent boys clothed and shod...Hope this helps.

Unbelievable shoe -
I’ve owned this shoe for 8 months now. It is my every day shoe, and the comfort is amazing. The amount of support and cushioning is remarkable for such a light and flexible shoe. I’ve owned 200-300 Eccos and Mephistos, and this shoe has out performed and outlasted them.

Great looking and comfortable shoe -
A very nice looking shoe works well as business casual. Moderate arch support, soft leather uppers, but not fragile as some shoes are. They can take a hit and not rip. Only issue is they seem to be 1/2 to a full size larger than marked.

Nice shoes. Good leather. Good quality -
These shoes are very comfortable. I did find that they seemed maybe a half size bigger than normal. Fixed that by putting sneaker insoles inside them. Now they fit perfect, and they are so cushy, they almost feel like a pair of sneakers. The leather is good quality and seems like it will hold up well.

Bostonian Grappa not in line with usual Bostonian -
I received my pair of Bostonian Grappa's and having owned Bostonian in the past I was expecting comfort "out of the box". This was not the case. The shoe is a firm leather style which also actually appears uncomfortable (high luster and sharp lines). Hopefully the shoe will break in quickly and win me back as having the viewpoint of Bostonian comfort 'above all others'.
