My kids love these boots and ordered them in tan. We haven\\\\\\\'t tried them out in snow yet. They do seem to run small, and we ordered them a couple sizes larger to get a couple of years out of them. The boots are attractive and look well-made. We\\\\\\\'ve had good luck with the Khombu brand!

Great-looking and warm.
I am an adult that wears a size 4.5 in women’s. They have this exact boot only as low as a 6 in women’s, so I bought the 2.5 kids size. I've worn it in extremely cold weather in the northeast, and in the snow. I found it to be very warm, and it kept me dry, although I tend not to tromp around in the snow all that much. But it was fine for walking around a slushy, icy city and it looks great.

Functional + cute!
The suede is maybe a bit thin and not the best quality but the boot is excellent otherwise - stable & lightweight, with no awkward 'spaceboot' feel; waterproof & lined w/ warm, wicking faux-fur; and that it's laced make it possible to tuck in even the thickest/bunchiest pant legs into the boot shaft. Nice touch to have on boot tongue a rub-strip for the laces to be tied.

Warm, waterproof & fashionable -
I bought these boots so my 9 year old daughter could wear them to school - indoors and outside in the snow in well-below freezing weather. She's been told by other girls that they are "cute" and they keep her feet warm and dry. The entire foot of the boot is also lined w/ fleece so they are warm throughout. I was worried about the laces -- and wanted a zip boot -- but the laces have been secure with double knots and easy to tie because they are long. Getting another pair for her sister.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Any boot made in Canada is a good bet.

 |  | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the “dig deeper” sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness.
