Good for the price -
These boots are comfortable, but not as much as others I've had. A cheap sole insert will fix the problem. I have yet to shine/oil the boots so the "white dust" from the box is still on them, therefore they look worn already which is fine, but I'll have to do something about it when I wear them for dressier occasions. The soft upper part of the boot always seems to knock down my socks which is annoying. I like the look and style of the boot. My jeans cover up the buckle which I could care less about, I was more concerned about the shape of the visible front/toe part of the boot which I'm pleased with. It is loud on hard floors, but that’s how western boots are. I've only listed the negative parts which is not much at all compared to my overall likeness of the boot, I'm very pleased with my purchase and the ease of the transaction and satisfaction with Zappos.

I was disappointed in the overall durability of these boots. Soles separated from boots in the first couple of weeks. The heels are very, very noisy when walking on ANY hard surface. And because the heel is made of wood, my instep wore it down pretty quick. I took the boots to a repair shop and was told that rubber and wood sole shoes are not repairable, period. Not much bang for the buck... so, stay away from rubber and wood soled boots at all cost! Stay with leather, Vibram or Vibram equivalent soles if you can.

Great looking BUT-
After two wearings the rubber sole "peeled" away from the bottom of the boot on the left boot. They look great, feel great, but lack overall quality. I returned them for Justin Ropers.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: justin boots, or any w/ leather sole, not rubber

Nice boot - the boots fit true to size, but are loud when walking on hard surfaces and lack grip on slippery surfaces. They're great for casual wear, the tan color matches everything and I've seen many "look-alikes" out there for 3-5 times the price.

Poor buy -
These boots suck. They fell apart after only a month and a half. Both soles started falling apart, and both of the inner liners peeled off. Terrible, terrible durability.

Boots. The used look makes them perfect. Very comfortable. Have worn them for days and they look better every minute. Material is great and no weak point found yet.

Love My Boots -
These boots are awesome. Their "broke in" look is great and they feel good on my feet. Everybody notices them and that's a good thing!

Very, very nice boot. The color is a dark brown; a bit lighter than the pictures. I wear these boots to work and stand on a hard floor for 8 hours a day, and my feet feel absolutely fine. Very durable, and look great. However, they do scuff easily, but it makes the boots look worn in from day 1.

Awesome Vintage Boot -
Awesome vintage looking boot, looks like they have been pried off an old dead cowboy. This boot seems like its going to be a great comfortable boot. The leather produces a waxy film through daily wearing, the film is easy wiped off but it actually adds to the vintage look of the boot. The buckle is simple and does not stand out as much as its competitor (Harness). The color is a little different from the picture but I'm still pleased.
