I think these shoes have great potential; unfortunately they are really sized small. I would recommend that you order 2 sizes larger than normal. Lucky for me, Zappos has a fabulous return policy.

Extremely happy with how fast I received my order. Extremely unhappy with the product. The strap that goes over your big toe on both shoes is too long. It is also longer on the right shoe then the left. When you have them on, that strap just hangs in the air and off the side of the shoe. Seems like someone mismeasured for that strap.

VERY CUTE -
When I first tried these on I thought they were going to be to narrow, but after wearing them for a few hours they felt fine. Not the easiest sandal to get on, but overall I like them.

Cute and comfy!
Zappos is the only retailer I've found to sell EE Bass sandals. I have always wanted these, but alas, no wides in the stores. Hurray! EE and they really fit! Comfy squishy sole, no rubbing from the straps, and my toes don't leak over the edges! And I look good too! As far as arch support, it's a sandal, not an orthopedically correct walking shoe! They're meant for cute, not support.

Finally got it right!
I've had a series of exchanges to get these shoes right, but I'm there!
I first ordered the black in an 11M, but was unhappy with the feel of the straps and the fit. I read other reviews that said the black was weird, so I returned those and ordered the cinnamon in 11M and the tan in 12M. I decided that I like the look of the cinnamon better (the tan looked odd against my skin) but that I needed the 12M. So back those went and I ordered what I needed. I actually wear and 11.5 N, so getting the right size often takes me a while. I agree that the shoes run narrow - that's why they fit me!
These are the perfect solution if you find yourself wearing cheap flip-flops all the time. These look more put-together and are better for your feet, too.
My only complaint is that I wish the black with the tan sole and bed were available. I know they exist!

Devotee of the style, but strange fit -
I bought some of these made by Dexter over 2 years ago, that I wore completely out. I love, love, love this style. Strappier and not as sloppy looking as flip flops. So, I needed a new pair and went straight to Zappos...or shoe heaven as I like to call it. I am glad I read the reviews first. I like to get others tips on comfort and especially size as I am in between a 6.5 and 7 with very narrow feet (AAA). These sandals are super narrow. Shoes are always slipping off my feet, so like I basically can wear Mary Janes, Uggs, and shoes with ankle straps. I'm not used to sandals fitting me this well! But if you have regular width feet, you probably should buy wides. I could be wrong, but these are shockingly narrow!! Works for me, though!

Very disappointed...
I have always liked the look of this shoe so I finally decided to order it. It fits really narrow, it seems short and it looks horrible on my foot. I'm really disappointed. I think they may fit my mother who has a really narrow foot. If she doesn't like them, I will return them.

Worth waiting for -
I enjoy these sandals but had to wait a little to stretch them. Initially they were a little tight, but with patience they came to be one of my most comfortable pair of sandals. :)

Oldie, but goodie -
These shoes have been around for years and they are great. True to size. I am an AA, but with these it doesn't matter. I think they are a summer basic.

The Bass Sharon in cinnamon has always been my favorite sandal and I've worn the style for over two decades. It's simple, classic and comfortable. Unfortunately, the company has changed their sizing. Two years ago, I bought a pair of Sharon's from Zappos in size 9 medium. They fit perfectly. I recently ordered the same pair, same size and the shoe was so narrow my foot didn't fit through the straps. I exchanged the pair for a size 9 wide and they're still too narrow! What's happened to these shoes? Now I've ordered the 9 double wide size in the hope that the 3rd time will be the charm. Bass needs to include shoe widths with their product description.

Too shallow for comfort!
This is the sandal I've searched for all summer! I thought. Apparently, white, strappy, leather sandals are out.
I ordered this sandal in white, extra wide.
The problem with the Bass Sharon, for me, is that it's too tight. I have a very wide foot with average arch and instep. I could barely force my foot into the sandal. I had my 16 year old daughter try the sandal and she didn't have much luck either. (Her feet are not wide) She too had to manipulate the straps with her fingers to get the sandal on her foot. I'm not sure who Bass is making this shoe for, but someone should show them a real foot.

They are very nice, a little tight around the toes at first, but once they're broken in, they're much better. I also get compliments on them a lot.

The black color Sharon -
I do agree. After two purchases of the black over the years there is something different about them when compared to the other traditional colors that are offered. My first pair caused blisters around the straps that never occurred with the other traditional color sandals offered. My next black pair came with minimal foot bed padding. Although the black looks great, be careful when buying them. Aside from the black, it is a great sandal in look and fit when broken in.

I've been waiting and waiting to get the black pair and when I got them, I was shocked! They were totally different than the original Sharon in style and texture. They were smaller than the size marked and I could not even get my foot in it. Sent it back and got the old comfortable light brown ones that you don't even have to break in – in the same size as the black and they fit perfectly. Too bad they made the black somewhere else or differently.

Bass needs to work on widths. I have flat feet, so the lack of arch support was just fine for me. Normally, I wear a medium when I buy size 9 – had to return the white patent mediums to get white wide and STILL they are a bit tight (for my right foot). Hopefully, the shoes with loosen with wear. Regular leather is more comfortable than the patent leather.

Good thing about this pair is that it looks great on my feet at least. The straps between my toes hurt though. I put sticky tape around it just so I could wear it. The footbed is quite narrow too.
