Great shoe for the price -
First pair of shoes ordered from Zappos. The mesh top worn through only 5 months after wearing them. Zappos replaced the shoes free of charge. Awesome customer service and way to stand behind the products you sell.

Comfortable, but not durable -
I bought these shoes about 120 km ago and the mesh on the top of the shoes is already wearing through. I trail run on maintained trails: forest floor dirt, leaves, some grassy areas, roots, etc. My usual trails are not overly hard on shoes, especially not the tops. I'm very disappointed they are showing as much wear as they are on the tops of the shoes. The bottoms are fine, showing very little wear. I will not be buying these again, despite how comfortable they are!

The North Face Arnuva 50 -
This is my first pair of North Face running shoes. I am very happy with them so far. No break-in period required; they were comfortable on my first run. The farthest I've went in them so far is 5 miles. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. I have pretty flat feet and the arch support seems sufficient.

These are great!
I am a seasoned runner and these are by far the best running shoes I've purchased. They did not feel a half size smaller, so I would recommend purchasing your normal size. The width is adjustable as well, so it leaves a little breathing room. They've been great for both street and trail running.

I love these shoes. I ordered them and got them the very next day. I've been using them on the trails in the state park near where I go to school, and I absolutely love them. I used to get shin splints when I ran, but I haven't gotten them since I started running with these. They're super comfortable--the only reason I gave them a 4 was because they gave me a couple blisters--which were most likely from breaking them in. Otherwise, they are very nice. I probably wouldn't recommend them for running on pavement for very long. The only real drawback I found was that they are meshy and when the trails are muddy and wet, the water goes through. It's not so much a big deal when it's warm, but when it's cold, sometimes it's a little uncomfortable--but nothing intolerable. Highly recommended.

Love them!
My size is 6 and a half, but I bought size 7 because I have heard that these will fit half a size smaller. I can trail run hours and hours in these - excellent cushion. Absolutely the best running shoes I have ever had. Of course, Zappos.com provides the most excellent and efficient service as usual and I can never complain!!
