Honest review, not an add for this brand.
As you mature in life, less and less things tend to exceed your expectations. This was one of them. It was so good, that when I picked up the return policy letter inside the box, it made me laugh. This is definitely a keeper. Thanks Zappos!

5011 compliments -
These shoes fit perfectly, they are super comfortable, and most of all, they fetch a kazillion compliments. I get followed around by strangers telling me how wonderful they are and wanting to know where I got them. I've referred several people to Zappos, but now I see that all that remain are size 6. My only issue is the trademark Ted Baker buttons have broken off twice now. Aggh.

These are quality boots made of thick leather. I found them both comfortable and stylish. The only problem I found with them was the laces, which kept coming undone; but knocking the loops flat with a hammer quickly solved that problem. And with the laces could adjust easily to accommodate my skinny calves. I recommend these shoes.

SOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!! These shoes are worth every single penny! I wore them all day the first day and they didn't hurt at all, and in fact, where very comfortable. The laces do come off the hooks when unzipped, and you have to relace almost every time, but its worth it because the zipper makes for easy on & off. Im a half size, so ordered up & they fit great. I can wear with socks or tights! I love them!!!

These are the boots I have always wanted -
These boots are every bit as beautiful as they looked online. I wouldn't care if they were awful and pinchy, they're so gorgeous, but they're not awful and pinchy but surprisingly comfortable. I did put in some insoles which helped somewhat although with the insoles one of my feet does feel a bit snug in them.

Very cool boots!
The boot is comfortable and cool-looking, although in my opinion, the zippers take away from the rugged affect the design was pursuing. They rather "wimpify" the the edgy look. The most bothersome part about ordering this boot was figuring out what size, as these only come in whole sizes. Since I fall into a half size, I did not know whether to order up or order down. I ended up ordering both and have decided that the larger pair is a bit better, but the perfect fit would be if the boot came in half sizes. If you're a whole size, I feel the boot is true to size. Wonderful product overall and Zappos is a marvelous company to do business with.

Part Soho, part Triumph motorbike, part WWI dough-boy boot.
Beautifully made, comfortable from the get go -- the only drawback -- the laces come undone when you unzip. Funky, fun -- part Soho, part Triumph motorbike, part WWI dough-boy boot -- they are the boot of my dreams!

Finally a boot to fit my runner's calves.
I love the look and feel of these boots. But the zipper is paired with laces and hooks...instead of eyelets. When you undo the zipper the laces loose tension and fall off the hooks which forces you to retie them every time. Mine are headed to the shoe shop for a quick fix. They were still worth every penny.

I LOVE this boot & am receiving compliments on them EVERY time I wear them. Am especially happy that the calf is not huge as is the case with most riding-style boots. Really well made with a fabric lining and well worth the price.

Ted Baker's biker boots -
The boots are beautiful and very well made. The craftsmanship and detail (the brass ring, the imprint of a scooter on the sole) is very characteristic of TD's shoes and apparel. I got a lot of compliments and more envious looks from women (and men!) However, if you are looking for comfort, this is not a good bet. The shoe has no cushioning and it rubs the feet pretty badly. My poor feet had to recuperate for several days after two days of straight walking in the boots. For the money that I spent on them, I hoped to get something more comfortable. But, being Ted Baker's fan, I am keeping them.

I like these boots but if I stand/walk all day long in them (minimal sitting) then my feet hurt (I have sensitive feet)...gel insert helped a little but I've decided to wear them on days I only stand/walk half the day. Beautiful boots with lots of details. I love how they do not gape at the calf (fit my whimpy calves wonderfully)

Perfection -
I recently purchased these boots for an extended trip to New York City. I wanted something stylish and comfortable and this boot exceeded my expectations in both areas. I received numerous compliments on them from friends and strangers. I wore them for hours and hours walking many miles all around Manhattan and my feet could not have been happier. The pricetag is a steal for this quality of boot.

Nice Boots -
Boots felt very true to size. Heel is high enough for lift, but low enough for mobility. The leather is good quality and slightly distressed for effect, but not of the buttery soft variety, so breaking in will be needed in the stiff ankle region. Boots are as pictured. A small word of caution: the tongue on these is not gusseted, so underneath all that lacing is a very long, thin tongue. I have never seen that type of construction in a boot with a zipper. If there is a zipper to get in and out of the boots, why is the tongue not sewn in place? How this works in the long run remains to be seen...
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: when in doubt, Frye still makes a good $300 dollar boot

 | | My secretary called me about 45 minutes ago (10AM EST, Tuesday, July 8, 2008) to say my package arrived! This is incredible. I placed the order in the wee hours of Monday, July 7, 2008, after the 4th of July weekend, and I got the package 31 hours later. Free S&H!!! Now I have to get to the office, check the order, and try on my boots. Hopefully all is fine. Your outstanding response and service is a very welcome breath of fresh air in the suffocating atmosphere of internet online shopping. WOW! | | ~ Steven S, July 15 2008
