These are really great looking clogs. They do have a clog look but not overwhelmingly so. I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10. It depends on the shoe. I ordered these in a size 10. I found them to be a tad short (more so in my right shoe), so that by the end of the day I can\'t wait to take them off. It could be my feet being off-sized, I don\'t know. Otherwise, the shoes are made well and will last a long time.

After reading all the great reviews about Ariat shoes, I ordered two pair, black and brown. I had to send the first two pairs back for a half size larger. Now I am very happy; I love the way they look, they are very comfortable, and the thick sole and higher heels lengthens the legs, giving a slimming effect. They are rich and elegant looking and look great with slacks and would dress up jeans, as well.

I have had these shoes for about four years now and I wear them all the time. They are my go to shoes on the weekends and after work. I can wear them all day shopping and long walks. I recommend them highly. I am looking forward to buying another pair but just can't decide which style! My foot does not slide forward in any way and the leather has worn in to a very comfortable fit for me.

These shoes are great. They were a little tight at first, but after a few days of wearing them, they've stretched perfectly. They give the perfect lift without feeling like you're in heels.

Wow a lot of good reviews but not a good shoe for me and I rarely have trouble with shoes. Cute shoes but can\'t be worn for long periods or for any kind of walking. Feet slide forward in shoes and toes rub. Foot bed not that soft. I have had mine a couple of years and they mostly sit in the closet. Sole poorly constructed, part of my heel is coming off...Oh and I have two friends who also bought Ariats but a different shoe and their Ariats sit in the closet too. ??? Perhaps I have been spoiled by my Danskos, Keens and Docs.

These are excellent shoes. Fit is impeccable. Have had foot surgery and these fit like a glove. Can walk all day with no issues, even with arthritis in my feet. They look heavy, but they are not. I will gladly buy more of these. True to size. Look great with dress pants or jeans.

These are awesome shoes! I didn’t have to break them in and I had to wear them for 12-14 hours a day on concrete floors. I totally recommend them for anyone who is looking for a shoe that can be worn right out of the box and you need to stand or be on your feet all day. I wear size 11 and they are totally true to size. I am getting them in black too!

Not the most comfortable shoe -
I love, love, love the look of this shoe. I've been wearing Dansko clogs for years and wanted to try something new. For some reason my foot wants to slide forward in this shoe a little. The arch support is not adequate for a day on my feet. I purchased some 3/4 insoles from Birkenstock (Silhouette), which vastly improved the comfort. I have medium arches and a somewhat low volume foot. If you have narrow feet, you may be able to add your own insoles, otherwise the shoe is not roomy enough. The added insoles make the shoe just a little snug. I wore them for 8 hours then switched into my old Danskos for the walk home. I hate to say it, but the Danskos were a total relief to my feet. Still, while I probably won't be wearing them to my stand-all-day job, I'll definitely wear them out and about.

I bought them about a year and a half ago and loved them. However, the sole split open at the arch on both of them. I sent pictures of it to Ariat and they did not seem to care. It's a beautiful shoe that does NOT stand up to the test of time. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Love this shoe -
I have had foot surgery and have difficulty finding a shoe where my foot doesn't hurt. This shoe and others by this company are some of the few. My podiatrist took one look at them and said Wow! Those are great shoes for my feet.

This shoe is very comfortable yet casual at the same time. It has a great look to go along with it. I love these shoes. I also have a brown pair with the flower pattern on top. They are great.

I love these Ariat shoes...I ordered them in both black and brown. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these shoes are better than my orthotics!! Zappos is easy to deal with and being able to order from the web-site is convenient for me. I can always find what I'm looking for when I go to Zappos...

I love the way this shoe looks. I thought they would be more comfortable. My toe hurts if I wear them for more than 3 hours. They look great though.

Almost perfect -
These clogs are beautiful. I can wear them comfortably all day, even though I have bunion issues. I thought they might have a bit more cushioning in the footbed. I'm a teacher, on my feet all day and walking between classes a lot and they are still comfortable. I can't use my orthotics in them or my foot hits the top of the shoe; but I really don't need them in these clogs. I recommend them overall.

Nice, but careful!
As a waitress I needed comfortable shoes and these are really comfortable, but they are not secure at all on wet floor. You are sliding as on ice and I already fell in the middle of the restaurant. So I will just say that they are just very nice and comfy, but not for this job!

Very comfortable!
I'm a big Ariat fan and the Strathmore just confirms these are the most comfortable brand of shoes! I think the shoe is just a tad bigger then normal, but not enough that a thicker sock doesn't fix. Also, I have a very high arch and I have to use a shoehorn to put these on but again, once my foot's in the shoe life is one comfy day!!

My favorite clogs - These clogs are so great for walking or wearing when you're on your feet all day on a hard floor (as in retail work). The thick sole protects from shock, and the heel looks great with jeans or nice casual pants. I wear a 7C and the 7 fit perfectly in these, so I'm grateful that they are probably on the roomy side, width wise. I've had them a few years now, wearing them all through non sandal weather, and they are still looking and wearing great! Excellent value. I find Ariat better cushioned, more flexible, and better looking quality than other brands.

Nice appearance short on comfort -
I loved these shoes when I tried them on but they are not comfortable for long wear or walking. Ordered a half size larger and toes rub the front of the shoe. They look great but I only wear them when I won't be on my feet much. Have a friend who ordered another style of Ariat’s and has the same problem.

Near Perfect!
These cute clogs were just delivered to my door and they are just about perfect. Immediately comfortable, but the right shoe seemed just a tad more snug, which I'm sure will be corrected with wear. These clogs have great support and grip on the floor, are quiet when walking and the elastic gusset really helps. I have a very high arch and when I walk, they flex nicely and give a bit across the arch while still fitting securely. They don't dig into the top of the foot like some clogs do. They will look great with everything from jeans to skirts to my scrubs. Delivery was superfast. This is my first purchase from Zappos, but surely not my last. Would recommend these clogs whole-heartedly!

Great purchase!
Great walking shoe - very comfortable. I would recommend them! The only thing that is worth mentioning is that one of the shoes squeaks when I walk.

Unfortunately disappointed...
Shoe seems to run wide and arch support did not feel to be in correct placement. I love Zappos and will buy from again!

Cure for squeaky shoes -
Press down on the insole to find where the shoe squeaks and apply a little petroleum jelly on a q-tip underneath the insole. You can peel back the insole slightly with the q-tip or a butter knife. Usually the squeaks are only around the sides and heel of the insole.

Comfort & Quality Do Cost More -
I work in an office where we can be a little more casual and my Ariat Strathmore shoes are perfect. I was not sure at first about spending that much for a pair of shoes, but I have wide feet and a high arch and stand 5'9" and need good shoes. After reading the reviews, I ordered an 8.5 - I usually wear 8.5 Wide or a size 9, however, the 8.5 medium width was perfect. I wore them 3 days straight to work, not only are they comfortable, I got so many compliments! I went straight back to Zappos and ordered another pair - Avalons this time. Now what will I do with my Clarks, my SAS shoes? PS If I could give these shoes 7 stars, I would.

 |  | I just wanted to write in because I have placed many orders in the last couple of months and returned several of the pairs. I am leaving for a trip to Paris in a couple of weeks and I've been searching for the right pair. I've not had much luck, but I wanted to let you guys know that it isn't because I've been unhappy with my shopping experience with Zappos. Quite the opposite actually. Because your customer service and purchasing/returning policy is so great - I just keep coming back. So thank you, for making life easier for those of us who lack the time to run around to the various shoe stores around town.
