I got the Grey/Brown combo just because I absolutely loved those particular colors together. They are Converse and fit and feel as such. The extra padding of the insoles also make them just a bit more comfy than regular Chucks. I guess they are popular because I got my pair on the fourth attempt.

This is a great shoe. I fell in love with it at first sight only because it was different from other canvases in the market. It's sleek, lightweight, making walking and standing for a long time piece of cake. It's so comfortable, it feels as if I am wearing nothing. I like these shoes so much that am actually waiting for my size in the black which is not currently available. I highly recommend it for people that work long hours standing on their feet.

I'm currently on my 5th pair of these shoes. They are great. They fit perfect (I have slightly wider feet, so for Converse this is a nice exception). They do wear out somewhat quickly, but mostly just the canvas top. The soles last a long time. They can look formal new with long pants, or casual with shorts and no socks. They're great.

I'm very surprised how different these shoes are from previous models of Converse I've worn. The sole is not as flat footed as the typical Chucks and the insole has a great arch, lots of cushion for this type of foot wear. I can't stand the metal caps on the end of the laces, similar to the pair of One-Stars I got two years ago. Why is Converse doing this to the laces? Not a big deal though, I just cut the tips of the laces off so the metal doesn't flop around.The color, style, fit and comfort are great on this shoe. I tried Pro Keds, but they were too narrow for my feet. These have a nice wide toe box and good arches so for me it's exactly what I need in sneakers, where other cool looking sneaks are often too flat. I'm on my feet all day on concrete and these one of two pairs of shoes I own that I can stand in all day. The Vans low tops are pretty good for me too if I'm out and about, but I can't stand on them all day; too flat. To all sneaker makers, please keep the quality up and comfort.

These are great shoes. The arch support is great and they are very comfortable for walking. The only design flaw is the heel, which rubs. However, I found that with the addition of a small gel pad inside the heel (the kind made for dress shoes) this problem is taken care of. I wear these shoes all the time and will consider buying another pair when/if these wear out.

Black and shiny -
My first Converse! Very nice charcoal/black offset with shiny eyelets. Not much else to say, except I'm 11.5 in dress shoes but am fine with size 11 in these. The laces are too short for me to use the last pair of eyelets.

Not your Grandfather’s Converse -
These Converse are so much more comfortable than the Chucky T models I was used to wearing. These have a nice arch and are great for walking around town in. These also look really cool and we know that is the main objective!!

Look good on bigger feet -
My son wears size 13 and is conscious about the look of his feet. These shoes in the green looked great. He was thrilled with his choice.

Coolest shoe ever made -
Got the tan version, which is a classic design. Shoes can be dressed up or down with anything. Only dislike is the canvas inside the heel as worn down and irritates my feet. Otherwise, everyone I meet compliments me on them!

Don’t walk too far -
As others have noted, there is a problem with heel lift with this shoe. As long as I'm not walking far, this isn't a problem; but for longer distances the rubbing becomes noticeable and then painful. Tightening the lacing doesn't stop the heel lift problem, but loosening them does cut down on the rubbing, so that's what I do (and it makes the shoes more comfortable anyway). I haven't tried changing the insole.
I have wide feet and the shoes have enough give to accommodate them ok.

Converse tends to run a little big. I buy 1/2 size smaller than my other shoes. Otherwise, I really like the shoes.

LOVE THESE SHOES!!!
These are great!! Extremely comfortable! They even have arches, as most Chuck Taylor fans would know that the originals are flat as a board!! I want them in every color!! These are not sized like the regular Chucks. They run more true to size.

These heels are incredibly hot!!! Very comfy. Wore them for a full 8 hrs at work. Felt true to size. I would recommend them to anyone who truly loves the highest heels!

Shoe's so nice, I bought it twice -
Fantastic shoe. I bought the black/charcoal and loved them so much I returned to buy the dark grey/brown.
I normally wear 10 but a 9.5 in this shoe fits me comfortably.

Would be perfect if it snugged my heel in place.
Overall great shoe, I love the snug fit, but it has a bit oversized removable insole in it. My heel has trouble staying firmly in the shoe and tends to lift from the bottom every time I walk; a real big annoyance. I’m positive that with a new insole with a heel lift would remedy this.

Painfully rubbed my heel - I wore these for 3 blocks to the grocery store and they were painful enough in that time I knew I had to return them. Otherwise, the arch support and padding insole was really nice, they seemed somewhat sturdier than the regular All Stars and were really nice looking. I bought my actual size of 10.5.

Great simple shoes!
I have to walk around a lot for my job, so I am always on the lookout for shoes which can be worn at work and are comfortable. These shoes fit that criteria. The black can be worn with anything, the gray stripe adds some style, and the grippy bottom will keep you stuck on the ground.

Update to traditional design is great -
These shoes felt great from the moment I put them on. They have the traditional look, but inside is changed dramatically. There is greater arch support provided, which does not exist in original "Chucks". The sole is different as well - narrower than traditional, but overall the shoe has good width. Overall, this is a great shoe. I have been wearing them almost every day - great look and awesome comfort. I like these shoes so much, I may order another pair just to stash away.

Converse Premiere are the best!!!
I have been wearing Converse sneakers for over thirty years. Now that I have discovered the Premieres, it's even better. They have the arch support that the others lack and the style is great. Please keep selling these.

Retro-updated classic -
Don't expect these to feel like running shoes or anything with any kind of support, but they look good and they're a lounging around classic. Perhaps more arch support than the original (due to the insole that comes with the shoe), but that's still not saying much....

Incredibly comfy shoes...the light colored canvas can dirty pretty quickly, but other than that, these shoes are great.
