Once you break them in (a few times of wear), they're extremely comfortable. I liked them so much that when I wore out my first pair, I ordered another!

Boring -
I think toe-cleavage is sexy, so in my opinion, these shoes are matronly! Fit for the nunnery! Either that or your Halloween costume when you go as a medieval witch, but make sure you bring your broom stick cause these don't compensate for their looks with added comfort.

After reading previous reviews, I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and the shoes fit perfectly. It is true that the top of the shoe comes down far enough to not show any toe cleavage, but they still expose almost the entire top of the foot. The top comes to just below where my toes meet my foot, and because of this, I think it makes them more comfortable. I have a large tattoo on the top of my foot and these don’t cover any of it. They are perfectly pointy, comfortable, and absolutely perfect for work! I will be ordering more in other colors!

This shoe is well constructed, but covers too much of the foot in the toe box. I was hoping for a little toe cleavage, but this shoe gives absolutely none. It looks strange because it covers too much of the top of my foot. I wear a size 9, so I took the advice of the other reviewers and ordered a 9.5. It was a tiny bit too loose. I probably won't try a size 9 because I'm not happy with the look of this shoe on my foot. I will just return it.

Uncomfortable -
The only way I can get away with wearing these shoes is to wear trouser socks and extra padding on the back of the heel. I purchased these to have an alternative to always wearing heels to work. I decided to keep them just for the days I over did it at the gym. Really skeptical about purchasing any other shoes from the same brand.

This shoe arrived lickety-split. They are very comfortable and cute. I went by a previous review suggesting to order a half size larger, and they were right.

Love these shoes. The black patent leather dresses them up as flats and they go with everything. The shape of the shoe is universally flattering.

I've ordered these boots twice because I needed rubber waterproof boots for melting snow and slush. Most of the winter here it is too cold to wear these because they are not lined. I only wore them during the melting snow months. The first time I bought them, I had worn them perhaps 5 times, and rubber/plastic split from the sole causing a deluge of water to get into my feet. I returned them for another pair. Again, the same thing happened. Do not buy these boots. They may last you 6 wears if you are lucky.

These shoes are really cute. I wore them to my company’s Christmas party the first time I wore them, I had a few drinks and the shoes never bothered me. The next time I wore them was to work a few weeks later and apparently the wine was a serious pain killer because my feet hurt for days afterwards! I don't know if I’ll be able to wear them again. It’s a shame to since now that I’ve worn them twice I can't return them. On the flip side, my niece is in love with them and every time she comes over she tromps around my house in them (but she's 4 so...).

I didn't find these shoes as great in person, the toe part is pretty high up on your foot, not so good if your feet are a little wider (like mine). They're cute, though it looks a little weird having the front of my foot so covered.

The leather is very soft and the first time I wore them, the leather was gouged (like when a heel gets stuck in a crack...that kind of damage), but I do love the fit and the look.

This shoe is very hard and rigid. I am usually a true 8 and my toes were cramped up in there. I should have bought a bigger size, but even still... it had no "give".

Love this shoe! I just purchased this shoe in black for the second time, after wearing out my first pair like crazy in a year. The shoe is true to size, but initially it feels a little tight and rubs the back of your foot. But once you break in the shoes, they are really comfortable. Living in a big city, I walk everywhere for long amounts of time and these shoes are perfect for that. They are classic, cute and stylish too!

WARNING: The "navy blue" is actually a teal blue. I was extremely unhappy with the overall look of the shoe – makes my average width foot look like an elephant. As always, however, Zappos service is excellent! Thank you Zappos!

When I got the shoes, my feet immediately fell in love with my red patent-leather flats. Comfort is understatement... I did buy them a size larger than normal and I'm glad that I did. I need to buy them in every color available!!

This shoe makes your feet look dumpy!
The way that these shoes are cut-- is extremely unflattering. (I do not have wide feet at all, but it appeared so when I put these shoes on!!) I ordered the "Millie" by Gabriella Rocha as well, and those look much cuter, even though the style is essentially the same.
As with all pointy-toe shoes, there's some tightness in the toe area-- but the "Millie" has the "Bess" beat in comfort as well. I would not recommend this shoe. (But I’m keeping the "Millie!")

Love Them!
I love flats and these are more comfortable than most. I wear between an 8 and 8 1/2 and I got the 8 1/2 and it fits a little big, but I wouldn't return them. They look really nice, I receive lots of compliments on them!

Looking good but hurting -
All the ladies who left their review here were right - the shoes look nice, but are not comfortable. I have bad blisters every time after wearing them. If you still risk and order them, order a 1/2 size bigger.

Cute, practical flats -
Love Zappos. These shoes are cute. I got the red patent ones. The toes are completely covered, so no worries about toe cleavage if you're opposed. I actually think they cover a little too much of the toe, but after breaking them in I love the fit. I wore them around my house (on the carpet, just in case) with socks for a couple days before even trying to wear them out and about. Broke them in perfectly!

Poorly made shoes -
I wish I had returned this shoe. I originally bought a size 9, but had to exchange it for a 9.5. I generally do not wear a 9.5, but the 9 was too tight in the toe area. When I got the 9.5, the left and right shoe were not constructed the same. Instead of getting a different pair of shoes altogether, I exchanged the 9.5 for another pair. Big mistake. I did not notice it right away, but the leather on both shoes has a different texture and the shine. Overall I am not happy with these shoes. I own a pair of Gabriella Rocha boots that I love, but this style was not a hit for me. Zappos, however, was great with all of the exchanges. Their service is excellent!

Fabulous look with lots of comfort -
This shoe was much more comfortable than I had imagined. The leather is really nice and soft. A great looking shoe without having to wear high heels!

Poor Quality Leather -
These shoes scuff and mar very easily. The leather isn't especially durable and I was really disappointed by the lack of quality. But the customer service from Zappos.com was excellent, as always!
