These are simply great! They are very comfortable and I need a shoe that I can walk in for a long period of time - these fit the bill.

Nothing fancy about this shoe, just a Simple shoe that is comfortable and does what it should. I like that Simple is, or at least appears to be, an environmentally conscious company. Seems like they are well built and will hold up. I wish they had more arch support but I have yet to find a shoe with enough for me. I would buy another pair and recommend these to a friend.

Beware the Squeak. It is like one of those movie villains that won\'t die. I inherited an old 90\'s vintage pair from my son who had outgrown them and liked them so much I bought a new pair. Same old school style, but the new ones (both shoes nonetheless) have a loud, annoying squeak that is not endearing to the human ear and some species of canine. On the positive side, they should last a long time given the horror of wearing them.

I bought these two weeks ago and I\'m very happy with them. They were a little stiff at first but quickly loosened up to the contours of my feet and are now very very comfortable. They also look great, so I would recommenced them to anybody.

A good quality shoe, but I feel some things where lost in an effort to make a sustainable product. The shoe is ridgid...almost stiff and very little cushion is there if you spend a lot of time on your feet. Next time I\\\'ll be likely to buy a pair of skate shoes like Vans. This could work for some but if you spend a full shift on your feet every day you\\\'ll want something a little more cushiony.

I love this shoe but it was hard to find because you changed the style number on it. It feels wonderful, and I\'ve loved this shoe for several years. Please keep the same style number on it so when I need to buy them again, it will be easier to find. WHatever you do, please don\'t discontinue this style. It has been wonderful!\r\n\r\nAlso like the Simple shoe recycle program - reusing material to make the shoes.

Ordered these as a birthday present for my cousin - they arrived the next day! He loves the shoes, and they fit and look great. I recommend Zappos to everyone. Can\'t beat it.

This shoe is a classic, I had the exact same pair about 13 years ago; I actually wound up giving them to my grandfather, no, seriously. I have been meaning to replace them ever since, my only regret is that I waited so long.

Shoe feels one half size larger and one size wider. With the sloppy fit, not worn except around house. Shoe even looks wide. Probably wouldn't buy again.

These are gerat sneakers. Just a slight problem with my bunnions squeezing on the first few hours. A thiner sock and a little wear helped. Great looking and good support.

I have been wearing the same style of Simple shoes for eleven or so years. They have changed a little. They still look good but don't get them wet, it will change the feel. I was caught in the rain once and since then they do not feel as comfortable. Since there is no other similar style of shoe that I like, I will still buy Simple shoes and try to keep them dry.

I\'m going to keep this short as I don\'t readily enjoy writing reviews but am making an exception here. The reason being that both Simple and Zappos end up being examples of such well run companies with great customer service I feel like the situation deserves it. This makes my 4th pair of Simple OS Sneakers and each one lasts a few years...they\'re a comfortable all around shoe that has an element of class without being too casual. Shoes say a bit about the man (or woman) and when you want to communicate fun loving with a touch of style these well built shoes are great. Zappos upgraded my shipping to overnite for free and the shoes arrived so fast I thought the box couldn\'t be my shoes. Beyond that Simple\'s quality, durability and company ethic are so good you should feel fine handing over your hard earned $60 and change to these people. Thanks to both Zappos and Simple for being companies that build products and do business in a way that makes the world a more fun and better place!

These are great shoes. I like subtle, non-flashy, non-athletic sneakers, and it\'s tough to go wrong with Simple. They feel comfortable right away, and it\'s not long before they\'re fully broken in.\r\n

This is my second pair of the same shoe and I love it. They fit and look great! I wear them to work (I'm a teacher) and around town. They hold up well and feel better with age. For the price, I don't think you can beat them.

This has been my fail safe shoe for 8 yrs. or more now. They always fit true to size, can handle a beating, are comfortable, take very little time to break in, and are pretty affordable. Simple is also a good company that isn't totally trying to destroy the earth, although these are made of cow. My only complaint is a lack of color choice. I got the blue ones this time around and have to avoid wearing blue shirts and jeans or I might look like cookie monster.

These are the only -yes that's right only shoes that my DH will wear. Ok, on a rare occasion he'll dress up and wear his Doc's or dress down and wear his Tevas's but for everyday wear these are his all time favorites. Super comfortable and good looking - what's not to love? He has a somewhat wide foot and these fit perfectly. They last forever and seem to show wear only after a year of hard use - I think that's because they're suede not canvas. And (bonus) they don't stink (honest, even when he wears them in the summer without socks) and that's a bonus for the whole family!

These shoes are awesome!
I ordered these shoes for my 17-year-old vegetarian daughter. She loves them as do my other two daughters. Extremely comfortable, well made, and they look good, too. Highly recommended.

Cute, but uncomfortable -
This is my second pair of Simple sneakers and both were so uncomfortable I am giving them away. I don't understand how they can make sneakers that are uncomfortable! I wear a woman's size 6 and bought the men's size 4; I don't think a 4.5 would have helped much though. Very cute, and the heel is nice and padded so that part is fine. However, the rubber cuts into my little toes and gave me blisters. The opposite side is also wearing on the side of my foot. The soles are very hard as well. Unfortunately, I wore them outside trying to break them in and cannot return them. I am going to buy a new pair of New Balance trail runners instead; not as cute/casual, but extremely comfortable.

Sweet shoes that come with free squeaks -
Absolutely love the look of these shoes. I am still debating on whether to buy 4-5 more pairs as backups since it is so difficult to find a tan suede sneaker. First few weeks I walked around they squeaked like mad, it was embarrassing walking down the hallway. I contacted customer support as a courtesy to inform them of this problem, they replied with some warranty claim. I don't want them replaced I was just informing them. After a few emails back and forth, she told me I could return them and they would exchange them for a "quieter" shoe?? I guess that means the Simple OS stands for Obligated Squeaking and you should purchase one of their quieter lines if you don't prefer the squeaking. Other than that...cool shoe, btw, just rip out the sole and replace it with aftermarket ones to fix the problem.

Good, but not as nice as they used to be -
Ordered a pair and they were basically like the ones I bought over 12 years ago. However, they are more snug in their fit and aren't as comfortable as the ones I had before. Still a very easy shoe to work with though.

The shoes are really comfortable, with or without socks. Also, Zappos upgrading my FREE shipping to next day without any cost. I ordered these shoes at 5:00 p.m. on a Tuesday, received them Thursday afternoon! Great shoes, Great Service!
